Nobody Compares To You

Aaralyn was a typical teenage girl. That is, until Harry Styles pushes himself into her life. NCTY contains graphic material for mature readers only. This is my story, it came from my mind. :) Thanks!

15. Chapter 15

It's been four days since Harry had left my house. We haven't spoken since.

"Hey, Aara, when does school start back up?" Josh asked me from the kitchen. I was sitting in the living room watching the Avengers. I have a thing for Chris Evans.

"Two weeks. I'll be a Senior." I smiled.

There was a knock on the front door. I turned around to look at Josh. "Do you want me to get it?" Josh asked me, thinking it was Harry. I shook my head and got up.

I opened the door to find Harry with his face in his hands. He looked up.

"Aaralyn, please. I'm sorry, I don't know what happened." Harry tried to explain.

I stood there and didn't say a word. I watched how uncomfortable Harry looked. He was pacing around the porch. He walked over to the swing bench and sat down. He buried his face in his hands again.

I sighed and walked to the bench. I sat down next to him. He looked up in shock.

"I can't stay away from you any longer." He whispered. Really?

I looked at him and frowned.

"Aaralyn." He whispered.

"Harry, you scared the shit out of me." I snapped.

"I scared myself." Harry said while getting up and walking to his truck. Really?

"I'm sorry, Aaralyn." Harry said while getting into his Range Rover and driving away. Me too.

I shook my head. I got up and walked back inside.

"Where's Harry?" Josh asked.

"Where's mom?" Ignoring Josh's question completely.

"I'm going out." I said. I need time to think.

"Where are you going?"

"I don't know." I said while grabbing my purse.

I walked outside to my car and got in.

"Fuck." I said while starting the car and driving away.

A few minutes later my phone rang. It was Savannah.

"Hey." I said while answering the phone.

"Hey, what's going on?"

"What do you mean?"

"You and Harry."

"Nothing. I'm not sure if we're broken up or in a fight."

"What the hell happened?" Savannah asked me curiously.

"I-I don't know exactly-bitch! What the hell!?" I yelled at the car that had just pulled out in front of me, causing me to hit the brakes.

"Aaralyn, calm down. Where are you going? I'll meet you there." Savannah sounded concerned.

"Nowhere. I just need time alone. Maybe another time, Savannah. I have to go." I tried ending our conversation.

"Alright. Just be careful." Savannah said while ending the call.

I looked out the rearview mirror and noticed a familiar black Range Rover. Trying to spot features on the man inside, it was quite difficult while driving.

We finally stopped at a red light. I looked into the mirror again and it looked like Harry. He was alone.

I picked up my phone and called him.

"Why are you following me?" I spat.

"Aaralyn, calm down."

"No, Harry. Why are you following me?"

"I'm not following you. I'm at home."

"Harry you're right behind me. I see you in your truck."

"Aaralyn, I'm really at home."

The light changed and I drove. I looked back and I did see a black truck, just not Harry's.

I sighed. "Sorry, Harry, I thought it was you. Sorry to bother you."

"Savannah called me and wanted to know if we were still friends." Harry told me. "Are we?"

"I don't know. I don't know about you, Harry, but I need time alone to think. I have to go." I said while ending the call.

I pulled into a spot downtown and decided I should just go for a nice walk.

Ally decided she was going to text me a bunch of questions. I was declining her calls when I bumped into a boy about my age.

"I'm sorry!" I shouted as he fell to the ground. I knelt to the ground to help him get up.

"I'm sorry." He laughed.

"Why are you sorry? I knocked you down." I laughed as I helped him up.

"Hi, I'm Braden." He said while holding out his hand. His eyes never left mine.

"Aaralyn." I said while shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Aaralyn." Braden smiled. I smiled back, completely forgetting about Harry.

"Aaralyn, I gotta run, but would you like to get coffee with me sometime? Maybe Starbucks?" Braden was quite attractive, and very polite.

"Sure." I smiled.

"Great, how about tomorrow?" Braden's smile grew wider.

I nodded.

"How is eleven?" Braden bit his lip.

"Eleven is good." I smiled.

"Great, I see you then, Aaralyn."

"See you later, Braden."

Braden walked off. I had just realized that I had accepted an invitation to get coffee with a stranger. Plus, what about Harry?

"Shit." I muttered to myself.

Ally called again.

"Hey Ally." I sighed.

"Why have you been declining my calls?"

I can't tell her about Braden. I can't tell anybody about Braden.
