3. Chapter 3

"Maddy! Maddy! Get up! Maddy!" I vaguely heard Ace yelling, dancing around my room.

I just groaned in return.

"I have to show you something!" He screached. "Maddy!"

I heard my door open a little, "Is she getting up?" I heard a voice say.

"No." Ace said back, seeming disappointed. "Go ahead." He said gloomily.

I heard the voice laugh, evily then I heard my faucet turning on.

He is just intimdating me. I thought to myself.

I guess I was wrong because I second later I felt a sharp, freezing pain run down my neck and down my back. I shot straight up and let out a loud scream.

"Sorry, Maddy. But I tried to warn you." Ace said, bouncing around the room.

The second face I found was one from yesterday. It took me a second to remember, then I got it.

"Andy!" I screached.

"Rise and shine! You have somebody to meet." He said, dragging me out of bed.

"Get dressed or I will be forced to do it for you." He laughed.

"Ugh, fine." I said, rolling out of bed.

"Okay, arms up!" He sang.

"I can do it myself!" I almost snapped, but I couldn't help but laugh.

I got dressed as quickly as I could then wandered around until I found the stairs. Everybody was waiting in the living room for me and apparently Carter was a no- show too. Of course.

"Sleep good?" Asked Tommy with a grin on his face.

"Definitely." I answered sarcastically.

"Madison, I'd like you to meed Anna. Anna, this is our new house guest, Madison."

A lady ran up to me and gave me a tight hug, "It is so nice to finally have a girl around here!"

"Anna..." I thought to myself... the name sounded familiar. "Oh! You're Tommy's girlfriend!" I said.

Of course, I totally forgot which one was Tommy, but I knew the name.

"Yeah." She said, finally releasing me.

"We are going on a boat ride today." Exclaimed Andy.

I had totally forgot that there was a lake behind the house. "Oh, who is going?" I asked quietly, twirling a small part of my brown hair in my fingers.

"Me, Anna, you, and Andy." Tommy answered.

I was getting good with names now. Tommy is the oldest one, Andy is the one who poured water on my head, Will is the one that kissed me, and Carter is the one that won't show his face.

"It's going to be kind of like a 'Get to know Madison' kind of thing." He added.

I blushed at the thought that we were doing something just for me.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"This is not what I was expecting." I said to myself, looking at the boat on the river. It was a small wooden boat that will barely hold four people. Tommy got in first, then Anna, Andy, then I stumbled my way into the boat. Andy pulled a string on the make-shift motor and it started as we pulled away from the land and into the smallish lake.

"So, Madison..." Andy began. "You're a heavy sleeper." He said with a smirk.

"Yeah, I am. Water sure does the trick though." I said, flashing him a dirty look.

He just flashed a smile in my direction.

"So, I don't think we have heard the full story of why you have moved here to Bexley." Tommy said in a fake country accent.

"Well, long story short... Me and my mom were going to France for a year. Got in trouble at school. My mom still wanted to go, but she didn't want to take me. She replaced me and dropped me off here for a year." I explained.

"Ooh, what'd you do?" Andy asked, steering us into the middle of the lake.

"I got framed for possession. I didn't do it." I told them.

"Sure." He chuckled, sarcastically.

"I swear!" I yelped.

"What bout your dad?" Tommy asked.

"Ran away when I was two. Never looked back." I answered.

"So you're an only child?" Anna asked me.

"yep. Just me and my mom." I answered proudly.

"It must of been really hard moving from an all girl house to a crowded all guy house." She said, fascinated in the story.

"I've only been here a few days, it's still shocking a lot, scary too. It helps that I have my own bathroom though." I laughed.

"Yeah, I bet." She laughed back.

"So what's up with that guy that hates me... why does he hate me?" I asked.

"Oh, Carter? Well, there's only a few reasons why he acts like that. One, he thinks our dad likes you better than him. Two, he doesn't think you will fall for his ego tricks like all the other girls. Or three, the most logical one, he likes you."

I could feel my cheeks getting heated. "Are you kidding? He refuses to come into the same room as me, how could he possibly like me?" I asked in disbeleif.

"That's what he does. He doesn't look like it, but he falls hard. So if he doesn't think that you'll like him back, he stays away from you. That's just Carter." Tommy explained.

"That makes no sense. He has only known that I exist for like a day." I said, trying to talk myself out of it more than them.

"That's just him. But believe what you wish." Said Tommy.

"Hey, Madison." Said Andy, "Do you know how to swim?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"Yes, why?" I answered politely. Then, it set in. "No!" I warned him.

"Oh yeah!" He said, grinning and moving closer to me.

"No no no no no! Don't even think about it." I said, not taking my eyes off of him, grasping the boat.

He inched closer to me and tickled my stomache. I'm not too ticklish, but it was enough to get me to let go of the boat. And it was enough time for Andy to pick me up and carry me like we just got married. I was flinging everywhere at an attempt to get loose, it was hopeless.

"Hey, if you squirm, then this boat is definately going to tip. But if you stop, there is a small chance that I will let you go. So you have a better chance of staying dry if you just stay still." He reasoned.

"You are never going to hear the end of this from Dad." Warned Tommy.

"Eh." He shrugged.

"Andy, don't!" I tried one last time before he lugged me over the side of the boat. I hit the water with a loud splash and I quickly found the surface of the water.

"Andy Fisher, you are so dead!" I screamed.

"Bring it on, Maddy Baker." He challenged me as he started the motor and started moving towards the house.

I started swimming as fast as I could to the house as the boat went faster and beat me to the house. When I made it to land, Andy was waiting for me with a few towels.

"Gee, thanks." I said sarcastically, grabbing them from his hands and feeling the soft fabric.

"It's the least I could do." He said with a smile.

"You're good, Andy Fisher." I said calmly.

"Why, thank you Miss. Baker."

"But you see, Mr. Fisher.. your not getting away with it."

"I believe I already have." He said with a proud smirk.

"Oh, but that is where you're incorrect." I got so close, I was whispering in his ear. "There is nothing I do better than revenge." I whispered, then walked into the house.

"You don't scare me, Maddison Baker!" He yelled after me. I stopped and turned around and looked at him.

"Well maybe that's your weakness." I said with a smirk on my face. "Watch your back Andy Fisher." I warned, then walked into the house.

My wetness didn't go unnoticed either, "Oh, goodness. What did Andy do? I'm going to kick his ass." Exclaimed Tom.

"He just threw me in the river and made me swim back." I said nonchalantly.

I could see Tom getting angry, "If you don't mind, I'd like to handle it myself though?" I asked.

"Revenge?"

"Yep!" I said proudly.

Tom smiled, "Just let me know if you need anything." He said happily.

"Thank you, Mr.- uh, Tom." I said, running off to my room.

Even though I was getting better at finding my room, it still took me about five minutes to get it right. And this time, I guess I was distracted of something because I forgot if my door was the third down, or the fourth. I went with the fourth and swung the door open. I found a shirtless Carter sitting on his bed. I slammed the door shut quickly.

"Oh, shit! So sorry!" I exclaimed.

"Third." I said to myself. Opening the door and finding the welcomeness of my room. I decided to get out of these wet clothes, so I went into the bathroom and took off my shirt, then remembered that I needed to get a new bottle of shampoo out of my suit case.

For some reason, I thought I put it the suitcase under my bed, so I walked out into my bedroom in shorts and a bra. I searched under my bed when I remembered that it was in the closet. But, it was too late.

The door swung open and there stood Carter Fisher.
