These boys couldn't make this year any harder for Madison.

2. Chapter 2

The next morning, I woke up with Ace hovering over me, shaking me slightly.

I let out a small yelp and sat up, "Hey." I mumbled.

"Good morning. It's time for breakfast." He said sweetly.

"Okay, thank you." I said, not moving a muscle.

"C'mon!" He sang, dragging my hand off of the bed and through the door.

Ace dragged me down the stairs and when I got to the bottom, I jumped when I saw that the dining room table was full of teenage boys. Realizing that I looked like a mess, I let out a little squeal as I climbed up the stairs as fast as I could, hiding behind a wall. I suppose the teenagers saw me because I heard a laughter erupt from down stairs.

"What's the matter?" Ace asked from the bottom of the stairs.

"I, uh.. forgot something. I'll be down in a sec." I said, flashing him a smile and darting off to the direction I thought my room was. After wandering around for five minutes, I finally found my room and quickly brushed my already straight hair and washed my face. I made sure I looked presentable, then started my hunt for the stairs.

I found them quicker this time, but I was reluctant to move town the spiraling steps. Who are they? I thought to myself. My mind was racing.

I slowly made my way down the stairs and I tiptoed into the crowded dining room.

"Good morning!" Mr. Fisher spoke as he stood from his place at the table.

"Hello..." I said slowly, remembering that I forgot to change, I was still in booty shorts and a tank top... I probably looked like a whore right now.

"Everybody this is Madison." He said to the table of teenage guys, scarfing down pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

"Hi, Madison!" They all chimed with mouth fulls of food.

"Hi..." I said, again slowly.

"Madison, these are my sons. Well, most of them.

My mouth dropped then closed again, "Your sons?" I asked in total shock. "Do they all live here?" I whispered to Mr. Fisher.

"Yes." He whispered back. "This is Tommy, he is 21." He said waving a hand at the oldest- looking one at the table. Tommy didn't even look up from his plate. "This is Andy, he is 19." He looked up for just enough time to smile breifly. "And last, Will."

"Hi, I'm 16." He filled in.

"Owen lives on his own and Anthony is in college, so you probably will rarely see them. Oh, and I don't know where Carter is, probably still sleeping." Explained Mr. Fisher.

I counted the boys on my fingers, "That makes eight." I said slowly. "You have eight kids?" I confirmed.

"Yep. And they are all boys." He said proudly, taking his seat again.

"Maddy! You can sit next to me!" Yelled Ace as he danced in his seat, waving his hands high above his head.

I smiled at him and quickly scurring over to the empty seat next to him, taking in all the faces. The perfect, gorgeous faces of the Fisher boys.

In front of me, there was a plate of two pancakes and three strips of bacon with some eggs. I ate the pancakes slowly, trying to look like I have manners, like they mattered here, and then nibbled at my bacon.

"You aren't going to eat your eggs?" Ace asked me over the loud rumble of all the discussions going on.

"No, I don't like eggs." The second after I said that, I regreted it. The teenagers came pummeling over to me, I couldn't see the light of day until my plate was picked clean. No evidence that eggs were ever laid there.

After everybody was done eating, everybody fell silent. I felt like this was the best time to make conversation, "So why was the house empty last night?" I asked with a small smile on my face.

"They were out late." Explained Mr. Fisher. "I tried to tell you, a few times actually, but something would always interupt me." I faked a chuckle then remained silent.

I suddenly choked on my last bite of bacon and almost fell out of my chair when I saw the boy walking down the staris, shirtless. He was perfectly tan and his hair was perfectly messed up. He had a perfect eight-pack and he had perfect, mysterious eyes.

Good thing nobody noticed my grasping the table and gasping for air, but I couldn't stop staring at him.

"Who is that?" He asked, stopping in the door way to the dining room.

"Hi, I'm Madison." I said cheerfully.

"Who's is she?" He asked flat out.

"I'm nobody's." I said coldly.

"Then why are you eating our food?"

"Because- "

Mr. Fisher interupted me, "In the living room. Now." He said angrily at the teen.

Ace leaned over to me, "That's Carter." He whispered.

I nodded, and watched him walk away into the living room, followed my an angry Mr. Fisher. I suddenly felt like I was going to cry. Not because the hottest guy I have ever seen in my life was total jerk. But because I realized that I am not welcome here.

I stood up to go to my room. "Where are you going?" Ace asked, tugging on my shirt.

"I'm just going to my room." I said taking a step away from the table and pushing in my chair, "Nice to meet you all." I hurried away because I could hear my voice cracking.

I found my room in record time and burried my face in the silky pillows that matched the covers. I let the pillow hide the sounds of my sobbing and soak up the tears. After what seemed like ten minutes, I heard a knock on the door. My head shot up and I qucikly wiped my tears off of my face, rubbed my eyes, and cleared my nose.

"Be right there." I said in a happy voice. I rushed to the door and swung it open to see one of the boys from breakfast at my door. I don't remember which one though.

"Hi, I don't think we've officially met." He said with a smile.

"Yah we did... just at breakfast a minute ago." I said, then I thought for a minute. "Oh my gosh, if you are twins I am done." I said freaking out.

"Calm down, calm down. There is only one of me. No twins." He reassured me.

I took a deep breath as my cheeks flooded with red. "Come in." I said quietly.

"Bet you can't remember my name." He laughed, laying down on my bed.

"There were like a bazillion people down there! Of course I don't remember your name." I pleaded.

"Will. Will Fisher." He said. "I remember your name."

"Nobody likes a bragger. And of course you do, there is only one of me."

"Madison. But I don't know your last name."

"Baker. Madison Baker. You can call me Maddy though." I said sitting down next to him on the bed.

"Nice to meet you Madison Baker."

"Nice to meet you too, Will Fisher."

"Just so you know, we aren't all like Carter."

I sighed, "It wasn't that big of a deal."

He laughed. "If it wasn't that big of a deal then why is this pillow soaked and your eyes puffy and red?" He asked.

"Allergies?" I offered.

"Horrible liar." He laughed again. "If you're going to survive in this house... you need to build up a strong defense, or you'll crumble."

"I'm an only child and I live with my mom. I don't leave my bedroom door open most of the time and I sing my heart out in the shower. I turn my radio up so loud my whole house shakes. I have never had to be a good liar or a bad cryer. I have never had to live with so many people that hate me." I said, biting my lip to where it almost bled because I didn't want to cry again.

"Nobody hates you." He said warmly.

I put a hand over my mouth to stop my crying, still wouldn't work.

"You can cry, it's okay." He said.

"I may be an only child, but I don't cry in front of people." I said, kind of harshly.

"Well, nobody hates you. Ace loves you, he won't stop talking about Mr. Pig's new best friend. Or how you don't have a daddy or how your mommy is mad at you."

I cracked a smile, "I'll keep in mind not to tell him any secrets."

"Oh, by the way, feel free to leave your bedroom door open, at any time." He said with a smirk on his face.

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." I said, sarcastically.

He got off of my bed and walked to the door, I followed him. Right before he opened the door, he turned around to me and kissed me on the lips.

"What was that for?" I asked as he pulled away.

"So you don't forget my name again." He said quietly with a gorgeous grin on his face and he disappeared into the hallway.

I couldn't stop smiling as I said his name over and over again in my head. Will.
