Legend of the Magic Crystals

Legend tells of three crystals: blue(teleportation), yellow(knowledge and power) and red(longlivety). However, it was foretold that only one person would be able to reunite the crystals and when that day comes, there would be peace throughout the land.

In one small town, isolated from the rest of the world is where the story begins. Pandonium sets out on a journey to retrieve the red crystal and use its magic to cure Z of his amnesia.

25. Chapter Twenty-Four - Reunion

"I guess this is our cue to leave." Ike says.

"Guess so." Pandonium agrees.

"Aww. We're leaving already? But we've only just met." Ariana looks on the verge of going into tears.

"Yes we are. We still have things that needs to be taken care of." Vinyl commands.

"I'm coming. I'm coming. Sheesh." Ariana pouts. "Bye bye." she says waving her hand as she run towards them.

"See you around." Isengar waves to them as they leave, parting ways from them in front of the farmhouse. "Well, we're back in Alfield. So, what now?" Isengar wonders looking at them.

"We can either return to our hometown and heal Z first or we can go for the next crystal. Your choice." Eternia points out giving Pandonium time to consider the options as they depart from Alfield, heading towards Lacrosse city.

"Let's return to our hometown and cure Z of his amnesia. He may be worried about us by now and besides, we will be able to attain more information about this new crystal from him." Pandonium says coming to a conclusion.

"Onward to our next location." Isengar punches a fist towards the sky with much enthusiasm.

"Where exactly is your hometown?" Rave ask stroking a salamander.

"As it turns out. Wait, is that?" Eternia ask after spotting the salamander.

"Rai!" Isengar calls and the salamander leaps into Isengar's hands almost instantly.

"Do you know how dangerous it is to bring a creature into our time when it doesn't belong here?" Eternia lectures.

"Relax, it's safe." Rave answers. "So what was it you were telling me about?" Rave ask smiling with amusement.

"Hmph, all right then. Turns out, we have been living at the core or the forested grounds as what you creatures calls it these days." Eternia answers.

"You mean there are actually creatures living in there?" Isengar ask. "The lyncanthropes in that area is scary. We couldn't get past them even if we wanted to." Isengar says nervously. The salamander now on his left shoulder.

"Interesting." Rave says simply.

"There is one entire town of humans, probably a family of lyncanthropes and there was that hooded creature that doesn't seem to fit into anywhere. Remember?" Pandonium ask Eternia while recalling the past.

"Right. The screamer." Eternia confirms.

"The what?" Isengar ask.

"Screamer. It was making these high pitch sound that was painful to the ears. Hopefully, we wouldn't see that thing again, right Pan?" Eternia asks. Pandonium however isn't paying any attention to her. His mind seems to be elsewhere. "Pan? What's wrong?" Eternia ask going close to him and wrapping her arm around his right arm.

"I was just thinking about the four person earlier. I think I've seen them somewhere before vaguely but I just can't recall when." Pandonium answers.

"They don't seem all that bad. Perhaps something good will emerge from all this." Eternia says just as Lacrosse city appears in the distance.

"Something's not right." Rave cuts in which causes Eternia to withdraw herself from Pandonium quickly as her face turns red.

"What's not right?" Eternia says, flustered, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"We have travelled from Alfield and this road is usually busting with life but today, there is not a single creature throughout the way and take a look at Lacrosse city. It is heavily guarded. More than usual I would say." Rave points out to them.

"You're right." Eternia agrees noticing her surroundings for the first time since they departed from Alfield. "Strange. How could I have miss this?"

"How about taking the tunnels? We have tunnels running all over the place and one of them might just lead us straight to your homes." Isengar suggests.

"That's a good idea and we can even avoid all the guards altogether." Pandonium agrees.

It took a little while for them to locate the tunnel entrance and an even longer time to reach the forested grounds. Longer than expected. It isn't much fun when you're lost and the only creature who would want to talk, keeps going on about his life especially if he has repeated the same story like about a hundred times before.

When they reach their little town, everything was different. The atmosphere around them tense. They had expected their town to greet them warmly as they return but there was none of that instead, as they walk into town, everyone avoided them like a plague as though they were highly contagious with an incurable disease that could be spread by just being around them. They finally spots Z conversing with the mayor amidst the crowd. The mayor hurries away as they approach. Z have his back against them so he couldn't see them as they drew nearer to him.

"I can understand everyone avoiding us but the mayor too?" Pandonium questions.

"Pan? Is that you?" Z ask sounding surprise as he turns around to face them. "It's so good to see you again. How have you been these few years?" he ask them as they walk towards where Pandonium and Z stays.

"Uncle, are you feeling all right? We've only been gone less than a year." Pandonium reaches a hand towards Z's forehead.

"I'm fine." Z answers as he holds on to Pandonium's wrist lightly pulling it away from his forehead. "An introduction would be nice." Z says looking at the other two creatures.

"Rave." Rave answers dully.

"I'm Isengar. Nice to meet you." Isengar replies.

"I'm Z. It's good to make your acquaintance. Back to topic though, it's been almost 3 years since you left this place. Are you sure you're not the one feeling unwell?" this time it was Z that lifted his hand towards Pandonium's forehead.

"The space time warp must have sent us further into the future than we have imagine." Eternia comments considering as they enters the house.

"So you haven't heard have you?" Z begins what looks to be a long conversation, getting comfortable in his favourite chair. "You may want to sit down." Z says motioning them towards the floor where they try to get comfortable, listening intently. Rave, remains standing, leaning against the side of a wall.
