Love always has it's ways of working, but it usually comes with a price..............

11. Sean Strikes Again

Char's POV
I checked my phone, looking for an excuse to leave.
"Um, I gotta go for real." I sighed.
They all stood and hugged me after exchanging numbers.
"See ya!" They called to me as I got into my car and pulled away.
Truth was I had no where to be. I just needed to leave before I got too connected to these guys. All boys have only hurt me, some more than others, and I was tired of it.
"Breathe. Breathe Charlotte." I told myself. I sighed and drove home unsure why I had gone to them in the first place... Then I remembered. Sean.

"Mom? I'm home!" I yelled when I finally got home and inside.
"She's not here." A voice whispered. I was shocked. It was Sean.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I frowned, walking over to where he was.
"Showing you what you're missing." He winked.
"What I'm missing? Ha! Fuck you and get out of my house."
"Tsk tsk. That's not very nice."
"Neither are you."
"Char, Charlotte. Look at me. Do you really feel nothing? Kiss me and tell me that you feel nothing." He pleaded.
"Why should I? You forget about me. You don't care about me." I argued, nervous at how close he was now.
"Go up to your room. You'll see that I do." He whispered.
"Sean..." I felt tears welling up.
"Babe, I'm here for you. I'm here. You don't need to go to those guys anymore, I'm here." He promised.
"Until you see my other friends and decide to hook up with them." I snapped.
"Ah, still angry about that?"
"Yeah, I caught you with my friend, I'm a little angry." I crossed my arms and stepped back.
"You never gave me a chance to explain!" He said.
"I saw enough."
"No, you literally saw the wrong stuff! I know it looked bad, but truth is I would never do that. I went to the coffee shop to meet with Drew, but Spencer fell on me accidentally and kissed me thanks. I was moving, so she accidentally hit my lips rather than my cheek." He explained.
"Of course that happened." I rolled my eyes.
"I would keep arguing, but you're too cute when you're angry."
I let out a small smile and began up the stairs when I realized I left everything in my car.
"Give me a sec. I left a bunch of stuff in my car." I sighed.
"Wait, am I forgiven?" His face lit up.
"Maybe... But nothing is going to happen." I warned him before stalking out into the rain.
"I hate rain." I sighed, opening my trunk.
"That's one of the many things that make me love you." Sean whispered.
"Uh huh. Shut up and open the door for me." I laughed.
"Of course, beautiful."
"Beautiful? You sure you're ok?" I frowned, why was he so optimistic?
"Yes, I'm just observing my surroundings." He winked.
I chuckled and threw my bag in then went to get my soccer stuff. I was almost inside when I slipped on the grass and fell.
"Damn it." I giggled, running my hands through the wet grass.
I was aware of Sean above me. He helped me up, but then pressed me against my car and brushed away some of my hair.
"Sean." I whispered nervously.
"Char." He responded. I wasn't sure how I felt about him... Or Harry... Or Louis... Or anyone for the matter.
"Not now." I shook my head.
"Why not? Now seems perfect."
I was interrupted by his lips on mine. As much as I wanted to push him away, it felt so nice to be loved again.
"See it wasn't awful." He whispered into my neck.
"Sean stop. Get off." I struggled to say.
"No, I'm enjoying this too much."
"Sean! Get off me!" I yelled.
He shook his head and brought his lips back to mine. I protested and pushed his chest back. He pushed harder against me and roughly moved his lips over mine.
All of a sudden the weight of his body was gone along with his lips. I could breathe. Slowly I opened my eyes to see Sean on the ground and three very angry boys next to him.
"I think she asked you to stop." Louis snapped.
"I heard that too, Lou. What say you, Niall?" Harry nodded.
"Are you Sean?" Niall simply asked.
"Who the hell are you?" Sean gasped.
"My heroes." I whispered.
