Forever and Ever

Charlotte Burke is a normal seventeen year old girl. She lives near LA and is used to all the famous people flying in and out. After her father walked out on her and her mother, she was the one to take care of her mom and adopted sister, Annie. She never wanted anything more in life than her family's happiness.
Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall, and Zayn are anything but a normal boys. Being in a boy band was always an important and lucky part of their lives. By now they were used to all the girls: crazy and throwing themselves at them.
One lucky encounter could change everything for them both. Will Char be able to get over her grudge against pop stars? Will the band realize that by falling for Char music won't be the only important thing? Will they even be able to date with one of them being British and the other American?
Love always has it's ways of working, but it usually comes with a price..............

14. Moving On... to Harry?

Harry's POV
I eagerly offered to help, seeing this as an opportunity to get closer to Char, even if it was just cooking.
"So, what should we make?" She asked.
"I don't know about you, but I can make a killer peanut butter sandwich." I joked. Char giggled and pulled out a bunch of stuff.
"What the hell is all that for?" I asked.
"Dinner." She shrugged. I chuckled and helped her get out more stuff to make lasagna.
"They're gonna be thrilled." I laughed.
"Can I ask you a question?" She said quietly.
"Course. I'll be your personal therapist, now tell me what's troubling you." I grinned.
"I... I've never been able to trust guys before. My dad left me, my first serious boyfriend abused me, and then the one I seriously thought was my soul mate cheated on me. What I wanna know is why should I trust you?" She asked.
"Trust me alone or all of us?"
"Both I guess."
"Well, I don't know about the others, but you fascinate me. Out there I seriously thought you were going back to Sean." I confessed.
"What? No! Cheating is my least favorite thing. I don't tolerate it."
"That's good to know."
"But really, were you serious this morning when you said you..." She trailed off.
"When I said I loved you? Yup. From the second you opened your eyes I was in love. I don't know what it is about you, but trust me you are my future wife." I said confidently.
"That's sweet." Char giggled, blushing bright red.
"Go out with me tomorrow night?" I begged.
"I don't know... I have to babysit Annie." She frowned.
"How about lunch then? And if it goes well then I can help you babysit Annie." I compromised.
Charlotte bit the side of her lip, thinking.
"Ok. That sounds fun." She finally said, a smile playing at the edge of her lips.
"Trust me, it's gonna be perfect."

"Ok. That was probably the most amazing thing I have ever eaten." Louis sighed. We were resting around the table, me across from Char.
"It was a group effort." She smiled. I grinned back and gently played with her feet. A game of footsie broke out, both of us having a hard time containing our laughter.
"Alright, you two, control yourselves." Zayn smirked.
"Here we can help you clean up." Niall offered.
"Thanks." She grinned, getting up and beginning to clear. We instantly stood and joined her, taking as many things as we could.

In the kitchen I kept making faces at Charlotte, which made her laugh, which made Louis look over to see what he was missing out on.
"Harry Styles!" She gasped when I splashed her with cold water from the sink.
"At your service." I winked. She giggled and gently punched my arm, going back to where Lou was to finish putting away the plates.
Like how it was when she was with me, the two of them were quietly laughing together, Char occasionally blushing.
"Ok everybody. I don't know about you, but I'm feeling like a movie." Liam announced when the dishes were done.
"Sounds good. My room has a TV we can watch it on." Char grinned leading us up the stairs.

Char's POV
I opened my door and my eyes grew wide. It was laid out with candles and flower petals and smelled like fancy perfume.
"Um. Is this how your room always is?" Louis asked. I frowned and shook my head no, completely forgetting what Sean had told me.
"My ex boyfriend did this..." I mumbled.
"Whoa. Props to him. Pretty decent decorating." Niall appraised.
"But an easy take down." Harry rolled his eyes, beginning to collect the candles and full roses. The petals we vacuumed up and the perfume was aired out with a slightly cracked window.
"See, that wasn't too hard." Liam playfully shoved me.
"Yeah yeah yeah. It was fine." I said.
I checked my clock and wondered where my mom and sister were. Not sure what to do about them, I just popped in a movie and sat down with the guys on my couch.

"Honey! We're home!" My mother called from downstairs when we were about halfway through with the movie.
I jumped up and ran downstairs, grabbing Annie and pulling her into a huge hug.
"Where were you?" I asked.
"Doctors." My mom sighed.
"They think I'm too tiny." Annie said.
"They just want you to get big, like me!" I comforted her.
"I don't want to be big yet... I'm not ready." She whined.
"Aww! Come here!" I said giving her another hug.
"Charlotte, I want you to take Annie and get away. There is someone in the house." My mom whispered, shocked.
"Actually, five." Harry smiled, popping his head around the corner.
"Mom, these are my friends. Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall, and Zayn. They're from the UK and are in a band." I explained. My mom relaxed a bit but Annie tugged on my shirt.
"Yeah, sweetie?" I asked.
"Where's Sean?" Annie wondered.
"Um... He isn't going to be coming around anymore." I told her, kneeling down to be at her level.
"What? Why not?" She asked.
"Because it turns out he isn't my Prince Charming after all."
"Is one of them?" She pointed at my new best friends.
"Maybe." I giggled.
"Well, we'll leave you kids alone." My mom laughed.
"Nice to meet you!" They called, waving to her.
