40. Life is Good

Char's POV
Oh! It made sense now!
Just my luck that I found another celebrity, the only difference was that I didn't think they would be snobby anymore.
"Oooooh!" I said.
He laughed.
I got a text from Harry.
Harry: love I'm so sorry Simon said that we need to go to the studio for a few hours...
Me: oh ok! :( ill b here I have a few things I want to look at...
Harry: k b safe! I'll c u @ home
Me: luv yaaa
Harry: ;)
I put away my phone and stood up. Justin stood up with me and smiled, I couldn't help but smile back.
"No more hide n seek?" He questioned.
"Nah, they have to work." I shrugged.
"You can hang out with me!" Justin offered.
"Ok... What will we be doing?" I asked nervously.
"Whatever I guess." He answered shrugging.
We walked around and talked about everything that came to our minds.
"So family?" He asked.
I winced, I hadn't thought about them in a while.
"Don't worry, I won't push." Justin said softly, about to change subject.
"Sorry, I just haven't thought of them in a while. Erm- when I was ten my dad walked out on my mom and me. I had a little sister named Annie. We adopted her." I felt tears rimming my eyes.
Justin put an arm around me and rubbed my shoulder.
"It's nice getting this out," I admitted before continuing, "My sister got really sick and had to go to a bunch of doctors, but by September she was back to normal.  One day they both were out running errands, I was erm- depressed in a way... Well it was really raining and there was thunder and lightning. I found out the next morning that their car flipped. Neither my mom nor Annie survived. I came here right after the funeral and haven't left."
Justin sighed, taking this in.
"Sorry, that's a lot I just dropped on you." I whispered.
"No it's fine, your a nice person to be around. I feel like we could be friends." Justin said shrugging. I smiled and nodded, although I barley knew the guy, there was something about him that told me I could trust him. Were all famous people easy to connect with?
"And what's your life like?" I asked.
"Eh- I got nothing to complain about. Divorced parents, two step siblings, and I'm from Canada." He said grinning. I smiled back.

We were in the food court eating fries from McDonalds.
"Ok um what's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?" Justin asked. We had been throwing out random questions to each other.
"Hmm. Oh at my sophomore retreat I was pantsed by one of my friends in front of the entire grade and the instructors." I laughed.
"Nice." Justin said laughing.
"What is your earliest memory?" I asked.
He thought for a second, "Singing, or playing the drums. I loved music, and still do. Since I could talk I would sing random words and stuff, it was great."
I smiled and waited for my question.
"Your earliest memory?" Justin asked.
"Hmm. I used to sing too, I would run all over the house singing I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston." I admitted.
"That's a big song for a kid." He said.
"Yeah back then I was good... My mom would sing all the time around my dad. When he left she did too in a way. I haven't really sung since then." I said smiling at the memory.
"Oh, that's too bad." Justin said.
I just shrugged.
I checked my phone, it was already 7... But Harry said it would be a late night. I sighed maybe I should get going.
"Time to go?" Justin asked.
I nodded with a weak smile.
"Gimme your phone." He asked.
I carefully handed him my iPhone 5. He typed up a few things then handed it back to me.
"Now when you are in the US you can call me." Justin said. I grinned and waved good bye.
I went into a cab and had the cabbie drive me home.

Harry came home late, it was pouring rain by then.
We were holding hands and I had my head rested on his shoulder, sitting outside on the terrace. I had never been happier in my entire life.
"I love you." I said in a sing-song voice.
"I love you too." Harry said kissing my hair.
It began to rain harder. I looked up at the clouds and grimaced, I didn't really like rain.
"Wait, come here!" Harry said running into the rain.
"No! It's wet and cold!" I yelled, crossing my arms and backing up.
"Charrrr!" He whined, pleading with his bright green eyes.
I laughed and stomped out.
"Happy no--" I began, only to be interrupted by Harry's lips.
I leaned up, ignoring the rain, and pulled him close.
"I've always wanted to do that." Harry whispered pulling away.
I frowned, "I wasn't done kissing you!" He laughed and leaned back down to me and slowly kissed my lips. I ran my tongue against his teeth and felt his on my lips. I heard a huge boom of thunder and jumped. I ran inside with Harry chasing me.

"I'm disappointed in you two... Look at this mess!" Louis said.
"I'm sorry dad! But you can't say that you and mommy haven't done that before!" I said sarcastically.
Louis went to sit by Niall (my 'mum') and held his hand as if they were in love.
"Well Lou, we did do some stuff like that. Maybe we should let her off the hook..." Niall said fighting a smile.
"I dunno. She's a lot smarter then we were." Louis said fake glaring at us, letting go of his hand.
"But daddy! I love him!" I said, playing my part.
"Young lady! You don't know the meaning of love!" Louis argued.
"Yes I do! Harry is my other half!" I yelled.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" He yelled back.
I tried not to smile, but failed.
"What's so funny?" Louis asked, still pretending to be my dad.
"N-nothing!" I stammered.
"You are grounded!" He said.
"Aw dad! Mummy, Tell him he's acting crazy!" I said.
"Honey, I think you might be over-" Niall began.
"Don't speak, woman!" Louis interrupted.
"Mr. Burke, I'm sorry about the chaos caused." Harry apologized.
"Then leave! And stay away!" Louis said, sounding quite real.
"Only if your daughter says so." Harry shrugged.
Louis made an angry face, then we all burst out laughing.
Zayn came down at that point and said, "Is my brother arguing with you again?"
I nodded like an innocent little girl.
"Grandpa!" I screamed when I saw Liam. He laughed and we acted out our little family a little longer before putting in a movie.
I fell asleep on Harry's shoulder at some point, all I remembered was that it was late.
