18. Chapter 18

Char's POV
We got back to my house around five, which was before the rest of my family so it was just us.
"I had a really good time." I said.
"The date isn't over! Babysitting Annie was part of it." He chuckled.
"Hmm I guess you're right."
"I usually am."
"Oh really?"
"Really." He grinned.
"Ha. You're just too cool for me!" I joked.
"Aren't I?" He chuckled. I rolled my eyes and opened a bag of Cheetos.
"What was your dream? You never told me..." He asked.
"It wasn't a dream."
"What was it then?"
"A nightmare."

"You had a nightmare about me?" Harry frowned. We were now lounging around my coffee table and snuggled on the same couch.
"Yes... Well not exactly."
"Just tell me your dream, it's killing me."
"Ok... Well at first it was really happy and good, we were getting married. I walked up the isle and people were screaming awful things at me. But that didn't make me stop. I continued up and got to you. The second I said my 'i do' Travis shot me."
"What? No. He is gone, you have to accept that at one point he was your constant fear, but you're safe now." He hugged me.
"Am I?"
The doorbell rang, so our conversation was over when I got up to answer it.
"Oh hey guys!" I smiled, both my mother and Annie at the door.
"Hey sweetie. How was your day?" My mom asked.
"Really really fun." I grinned ear to ear.
"Well that's good..."
"Um, mom this is Harry. I don't know if you remember him from earlier..." I said.
"Of course!" My mom said in a fake British accent. I blushed bright red, but both Annie and Harry burst into laughter.
"Nice to see you again." Harry countered in a fake American accent.
"Oh god. Both of you are awful at accents." I rolled my eyes, imitating Niall's Irish brogue.
We all laughed, especially Annie who thought the whole thing was absolutely hilarious. I picked her up in a huge hug and looked her in the eye.
"Am I funny?" I smirked.
Annie nodded eagerly.
"Who is the greatest sister ever?" I asked, tucking one of her loose curls behind her ear.
"You!" She screamed.
"No you!" I argued with a small smile.
"No! You!" She whined.
"I'm pretty sure it's you."
"Uh no. I think it's you."
"How about this: we both are awesome?" I hugged her close.
"That works." Annie agreed.
Harry and my mom we smiling at us a bit away.
"Soo..." Annie said.
We all laughed at her remark and exchanged glances with ideas of what to do. Annie let out a yawn which was a giveaway of what needed to be done.
"Alright. You two go out and have fun, Annie needs her beauty sleep." My mom smiled.
I kissed Annie's head and waved goodbye to my family, then went out with Harry with no destination in mind. Life was perfect.
