Forever and Ever

Charlotte Burke is a normal seventeen year old girl. She lives near LA and is used to all the famous people flying in and out. After her father walked out on her and her mother, she was the one to take care of her mom and adopted sister, Annie. She never wanted anything more in life than her family's happiness.
Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall, and Zayn are anything but a normal boys. Being in a boy band was always an important and lucky part of their lives. By now they were used to all the girls: crazy and throwing themselves at them.
One lucky encounter could change everything for them both. Will Char be able to get over her grudge against pop stars? Will the band realize that by falling for Char music won't be the only important thing? Will they even be able to date with one of them being British and the other American?
Love always has it's ways of working, but it usually comes with a price..............

50. 7 Long Months

Char's POV
Seven months. Seven long, torturous months. And it was almost over.
"Curly!" I whistled, looking for my dog. He squirmed out from under my bed and had one of Annie's old stuffed toys in his mouth.
"Put that down." I frowned, sad to see it.
Curly dropped it and looked at me with his huge puppy eyes.
I chuckled and got out of bed and jumped into the shower.
Singing One Thing lightly, I was instantly thinking of summer.
I would see him again.
I slipped on running shorts and one of Harry's tshirts that by now barely smelled like him.
"Today's the day, Curls." I grinned.
Today, I graduate.
The car ride to school for some reason made me anxious and I kept fiddling with the ring on my finger. It was my new signature piece, thanks to Harry.
When I was leaving, he knelt down and gave me a beautiful Claudia ring as a promise to stay faithful to each other for the seven months we were spending apart.
I smiled at the memory, and detoured to the field. It was my most favorite spot other than in Harry's arms.
"Four years in this hell hole and I'm actually gonna miss it." I talked to myself quietly, curled up on one of the bleachers.
The last time I was here was my last soccer game. We ended up winning the whole thing after a shoot out. The large trophy was on display in the main lobby.

A sigh escaped my lips as I made grass angels in the middle of the field.
Someone behind me said, "You look like an idiot."
Another added on, "So why the hell didn't you invite us?"
I sat up and saw my two best friends in the world.
"Is it real? Are we actually graduating today?" I asked.
"Yeah, Delaware bound." Dani sighed, referring to her collage choice.
"USC isn't too far, maybe I can visit you when you come in town." Matti told me.
"I'll be in England a lot." I told them.
"Why can't they come here?" Matti whined.
"Because they have family over there and a career. I have no clue what I'm gonna do with my life, all I know is Harry is most definitely in it." I shrugged.
"Do you miss him?" Dani asked quietly.
I nodded, "I do... I miss him everyday."
At the beginning of the year I could barely function, thankfully my friends and teachers helped me through the first month, and I eventually got back to normal.
"Well, we're gonna miss you." Dani squeezed my hand.
"It seems like yesterday we were freshmen, meeting at orientation." I whispered, staring at my school.
"Or that we were trying out for soccer and you made fucking varsity as a freshman!" Dani shoved me playfully.
"Or you two playing basketball for hours as I sat bored in the stands." I rolled my eyes.
"Or you were dating Sean." Matti giggled.
"Ew, god shut up!" I laughed, smacking her arm.
"It was a good four years." Dani reminisced.
"Indeed it was." Matti and I agreed.
The final bell rang.
"We're done." I blinked, still dazed.
"Yeah, we're finally done." Matti nodded.
"I have to write the stupid speech." I crinkled my nose.
"You'll do fine!" Matti smiled.
"I gotta go, this hair isn't going to tame itself." Dani got up and shook out her coarse hair, showing off her weave.
"Gorgeous." I pulled on one of her strands that was particularly frizzy and burst into laughter.
"Shut up! Not all of us have frizfree hair." Dani grumbled.
Matti shook her red hair and smiled, "I do!" Dani and I rolled our eyes and hugged goodbye.
"See you tonight!" I yelled.
"Love ya!" Matti answered.
Dani had already left, no doubt determined to tame her mane.
