4. Chapter 4:

The music was blasting...

The music was blasting through my headphones and the person next to me kept giving me death glares. I felt like flipping her off but knew I would never have the guts to. As I looked out the window I saw the plane starting to fly over land again. This meant I was officially in England. Yes, I was currently on a plane to start my new life in London. The week after meeting the boys had gone by so fast I couldn’t believe it was actually happening. Harry and I had talked on the phone several times, deciding when I was to come and how we would do it so no one would notice me. So far so good but the problem would arrive when I landed. I was going to take a taxi to their place and then hope for the best.

The current song that was playing was ‘Playing God’ by Paramore and I thought about how it somewhat fitted into my life. By the end of the song ‘Lego House’ by Ed Sheeran came on and I couldn’t help but smile. I knew the boys knew him and, as shameful as it might sound, I hoped they could pull some strings and I could meet him. As I continued to listen I felt the lady next to me nudge me and I got ready to give her a bitch fit when I realized a flight attendant was trying to talk to me. I pulled my headphones out and smiled at her.

“We are about to start going down, Miss. If you would be so kind to turn off all of your electronic devices?” She smiled and I gave her a quick nod before I did as she asked. I then placed my phone in my bag and tucked that away. I then waited for the plane to land and my new life to begin.

2 Hours Later

I was currently in the back of a very English taxi and on my way to the centre of London. I was beginning to get really tired, seeing as I had now been up for 12 hours. I had to run a lot of errands before packing the last things up and then heading to the airport. After the plane had landed they were struggling with the luggage so that took an extra half hour. By the time I had gotten into a taxi it was already six pm here. This meant that it was seven pm in Sweden.

I was looking out the window the entire ride from the airport, everything here was so beautiful. I was in true awe every time the taxi driver spoke or someone on the radio did. I had to try my hardest not to laugh out loud, it was so strange hearing this much british. After another twenty minutes the car stopped and the driver turned around to face me.

“We’re here Miss.” I nodded and started to take out my wallet. When I looked up at him he shook his head. “That has already been taken care of, Miss. The man who ordered this taxi is paying the bill.” He smiled and then got out of the car. I stared ahead in shock and then mentally shook myself. I got out of the car and noticed that I was in a very fancy neighbourhood. No surprise there but still. I was staring up at the building that I didn’t notice the boy walking up to hug me.

“Oh!” Harry laughed and let go of me. “Harry! Hi!”

“Hello Johanna.” He smiled his sweet smile and went to grab my bags from the taxi driver. I snapped out of my daze and went to take some too, I had four big bags and two small ones. I smiled at the driver and put the bags down on the side walk.

“Thank you so much for the ride… Or something like that.” I laughed slightly and scratched the back of my neck.

“No problem, Miss. It’s my job. Good luck in the future, or something like that.” He winked at me and got into the car again. I laughed and waved him off before turning to Harry. He was looking at me with one of his eyebrows raised.

“What?” I threw my hands up in the air and he laughed at me.

“I have never seen anyone flirt with a cabdriver before.” My mouth dropped open and I picked up my handbags. Yes I had two with me.

“I was not flirting. I was being friendly.” I lifted my chin and grabbed two big bags as well. I waited for him to start walking into the building. He didn’t answer my retort, he just laughed and walked forward. We walked over to the elevators and waited for one to come. When it did we got into it, struggling with all the big bags.

“Why do you have so many luggages?” He looked at me with almost tired eyes and I shrugged. “Aren’t you getting your stuff sent here?”

“Well yeah I am but I figured I’d try to take as much with me as possible. In case of that the other stuff gets delayed.” I shrugged once more as the doors dinged open. We struggled once more but finally we manage to get into the hallway. Straight out of the elevator there was a straight hallway with three doors, one on each wall.

We walked to the door farthest down the hall. Harry opened it and before I managed to get a look at the flat bodies slammed into mine and I was on the floor. Feeling the all too familiar panic creeping back I closed my eyes and forced myself to realize these boys would hurt me. I felt the weigh on me pulling away but I didn’t open my eyes. Soon I felt someone’s hands on my face trying to make me look.

“Johanna.” I shook my head and took a deep breath. “Johanna, it’s okay. We’re not going to hurt you.” I’ve must have looked really scared because I didn’t think they would notice my fear. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Louis holding my face. He looked really worried so I sat up and nodded.

“I’m sorry.” I laughed and Louis let go of me. I began to stand up and he was on his feet fast as lightning. “I’m just not good with surprises like that.” I squealed and jumped up and down. “But I am so pumped to be here!” All of the boys, except from Louis, looked at me with relieved faces as they started to jump with me.

I laughed and bent down to grab a bag. Before I could though, there were several other hands that grabbed all of my bags and quickly took them inside the flat. I just laughed at them and followed them into the flat. Louis walked behind me with my second handbag and closed the door behind him. I turned around to look at him and he looked like he was deep in thought. Once again he didn’t notice me staring at him for several seconds. When he did he looked at me with curious eyes and I felt stupid. I didn’t know what to say so I pointed at my bag he was holding.

“I can take my bag now.” I smiled at him and he returned it. He gave me my bag and scratched the back of his neck.

“Are you hungry or something?” He looked at me with questioning eyes and I nodded with a huge smile on my face. Happy he was speaking to me. “I’ll go fix some dinner then. You should go get settled in you room.” I nodded and started to walk in the direction he had pointed me. Before I got to the small hallway, which held several door to different bedrooms, I turned around to face him again.

“Thank you Louis.” I spoke with a soft voice and turned around quickly and walked away. I heard him respond but I wasn’t sure what he said. I walked into the bedroom that had the most noise coming from it, and found four boys looking through my luggage. Letting out a high pitched squeal I ran to Niall who was holding one of my bras.
