The day he left...

I had a very strange dream the other night, which resultyed in my coming up with this little... Story.
I am not exactly sure where i9t is going or anything but I really felt I needed to write it.

It is about a girl, and her story of what happened to her brother who went missing when she was younger.

Im not a hundred percent sure what the rating should be as the theme may be a little "mature" later on... I am reallly not sure yet. So up to you I guess.

2. Photographs

It seems so long ago now, that I can hardly remember it... But there was a time before Nathan disappeared.

Happy times.

Even if I can't remember them too well, I have seen the photographs.

Days at the beach, trips to the park, bike rides in forests and dancing at parties.

Nathan a tall looking twelve year old, and then me, a chubby looking child clambering over Dad as he tries to lie down in the field. There is smiles on all of our faces that are captured and frozen in time by the camera.

We have photos from Mum and Dads wedding, mum in an elegant white dress which is plain except for some minor lace detailing around the sleeves and hem, then dad in his black suit with a flower in his lapel which matches the ones in Mums bouquet. The bouquet is a combination of their favorite colors combined, a variety of flowers brought together to form a circular shape which Mum clasps.

We have photos from after the wedding too, mostly scenery shots. I guess those are the only kind you can take on your honey moon if you want to be able to show them to your future kids and family. Another tourist kindly took a photo of them on the beach one day though. Holding hands and smiling lovingly at each other, the sunset behind them adding to the romantic look in their eyes.

After that there is countless pictures of us. From the baby bump photos and scans, to the first day of birth. They go on. All the way up to that day.

The week before he left.

Nathan.

That's where the photos stop. Mum takes no more photos, and neither does dad. Their Wedding and honeymoon photos now sit in a separate case away from the others.

Just like they do themselves.
