8. 2.3 Locked Up

"You suck at this game." I said to Javier as he was trying to shoot the rings to the bottle.

"Just shut up and let me win okay?" He said to me in a teasing tone.

"Why'd ya wanna win anyways?" I asked him curiously.

"Doesn't girls like it when their dates win them prizes and stuffs?" He said without looking. He missed his lat ring though. "Arg! One more round please." He said to the guy.

"You don't have to. Besides, it's not a date." I said.

He looked at me for a while. "So what." Then he proceeded playing.

After probably, the 20th time, he won.

"See? I told you I'd win." He said as handed me the purple unicorn.

"It was a fluke." I said to him.

"Oh come on. Give the man some credits." He said to me.

"Fine!" I said as I laughed slightly. "And thank you. You fulfilled your promise."

"You're very welcome." He said. "Anyway, I'll take you home. It's getting darker now."

We were walking peacefully and laughing when he suddenly panicked and pulled me into the nearest shop witch happened to be a butcher's shop.

 "Shhhh!!!!" He said to me.

"Javi, javi!" A little blonde chick called out.

"I told you, it wasn't him." The other said.

"But I saw him. I tell you. And the worse is he's with another girl!" She said as she pouted.

"Who's that?" I whispered to him.

"I'll tell you later." He mouthed.

"But Lia he's not here." Said the other again.

"Oh, Isa please? Let's look around. I saw them run! I think he saw me too." The first girl, Lia said.

"All I see are closed shops, trees, and freaky light post." Isa sighed. "It's getting late, Lia. He's not who you saw."

"Fine." Lia submitted. Then they left.

"That was close." Javier said as he sighed relief.

But just as we were about to go out, we heard someone whistling. We kept quiet thinking it was Lia and Isa, then the next thing we heard was some metally-something sound.

"Let's get out of here." He said.

But we couldn't open the door. I tried again, still nothing. That's when I realized..

"That sound was a padlock being locked, isn't it." Javier said as we stared at the door.

I slowly nodded. "Try the back door!" I said.

So we rushed to the back to see if we have any luck. Still nothing.

"What's worse than being locked up in a butcher's shop?" He blurted out.

"Being locked up in a butcher shop with lots of stinky meat and a conceited psychologist." I said.

"Shut up, you love me." He said teasingly.

"That just proved my point." I said then he kept quiet.

  What a lucky day. NOT!
