25. Denim Waistcoat

Ashley's POV

"Jesus Christ!" Jaime stared at me, like I was insane.

"What?" I innocently replied, my eyes wide.

"You eat so much! I thought girls ate like... uh... not much?" he frowned, not really sure how to put it.

"A girl's gotta eat," I shrugged, and finished off my... lost count... slice of pizza.

Vic was laughing beside us, his arm around my waist, as we ate. All of the others were sharing pizzas... And I got one to myself. An extra large, to myself. Jaime complained that Vic was being mean, in not buying Jaime an entire pizza to himself, so Jaime was attempting to ignore him. I didn't even ask for a whole pizza, but Vic knew I ate a lot.

"I freaking love this girl!" Justin announced, "We need to have some kind of food competition. You seem worthy..."

I giggled, "Only if you like losing."

Justin chewed on his lip for a minute, "I'm not so sure. Tomorrow, I challenge you to a match of fluffy bunnies!" he stood up, pointedly looking at me.

"Deal!" I also stood, and shook his hand.

The others joined our conversation, interested over what the challenge was. They started betting who would win, and all of them voted for Justin. All of them, except Vic and Scar. They knew I'd win. I was going to be so rich by the end of this. Jaime wasn't sure who to bet on, so he pulled out. Kellin had put thirty bucks on Justin. That's thirty bucks for my side... Just saying.

"You have to buy the marshmallows, though," I told him, starting a new slice of pizza.

"Ugh," his shoulders sagged, at the idea of getting up, and walking to a shop, "Jaime, come with me."

Both of them left, to get a couple bags of marshmallows, as we finished eating. Vic took to kissing my neck, and my jaw, ignoring the wolf whistles, and offensive comments from the rest of the guys. A blush was rising on my face, but I pretended to be oblivious.

Jaime returned, Justin close behind. They returned to their seats, and confirmed that they bought some marshmallows. A smirk made it's way onto my face, as I remembered the bets. I was so going to win.

"O-M-G it's Kellin Quinn!" a high pitched squeal cut through my thoughts.

"And Vic Fuentes!" another voice added.

Scar and I shared a look, and we got up, "We'll meet up with you later," Scar quickly said.

"No, don't go!" Vic pouted, grabbing my waist, and pulling me onto his lap.

"Babe, remember what happened last time with fans?" I raised an eyebrow, warning him.

Sighing, he let go of me, as the fans approached us, already taking hundreds of photos. He quickly kissed me, and I kissed him back. Grabbing my crutch, and Scar's arm, we left them.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I was actually scared that they'd attack us again. Once I was over that, I was kind of jealous. Sad, I know, but it's reasonable. They were probably prettier, skinnier, smarter, and nicer than me. What if Vic liked one of them, and ditched me? The thought was unbearable...

"Vic's not going to dump you for some random fan!" Scar hissed, slapping my arm.

"Wha- oh... I said it out loud..." I chewed on my lip ring, frowning at the floor.

"Yeah, you did," she rolled her eyes at me, "Vic's not the kind of guy to break up with his girlfriend, because he met someone skinnier."

"I know..." I muttered.

We walked in silence for a bit, and went into a clothing shop. Everything was all pink, and girly, so we just pretended to search the racks. In the end, I headed over to the accessories area, where there was some decent stuff. I liked a studded belt, with silver and black studs, but it was forty dollars - a bit over the top for a belt. Instead, Scar and I tried on some stupid hats, and took funny photos of each other, on our phones. I got a replacement... Well, Vic did. He bought me an iPhone 5 for crying out loud!

Scar's phone somehow survived the attack, yet Kellin also bought her an iPhone for no reason. They seriously spoiled us, and we'd only been together for not too long. Actually, it was really relieving to finally have someone care about us. It used to be just us - not even our parents cared.

"Hey!" a voice chirpily said, as he tapped my shoulder.

Instinctively, I turned around, and my jaw dropped. Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth were there! Wait... Why were they in a girl's clothes store?

"H-hi," I stuttered, and Scar had the same expression, next to me.

"Vic's and Kellin's girlfriends, right?" Alex asked, trying his best to be mature, about the rack of thongs beside him.

"Uh, yeah," Scar smiled, but I still had my jaw on the floor.

"Vic texted me. He said you two left, because of some fans, and asked us to keep you company," Jack explained, "He knew we were here anyway, and they saw you guys come in here."

"I'm Scarlett, you can call me Scar if you want. I'm Kellin's girlfriend," she beamed, and held her hand out.

They both shook her hand, and I did too, "Uh, I'm Ashley, Ash, Vic's girlfriend," I started grinning, when I said 'Vic's girlfriend'.

"Aw, you're so cute!" Jack poked my cheek, and I laughed slightly, blushing.

We left that horrible shop, and entered a slightly more interesting one. Denim, leather, and studs lined the walls. Everything was way too expense for me to able to afford, but it was fun to try some stuff on. Alex bought a denim waistcoat, at a ridiculous price, but he said he really liked it. It was my favourite one, that I'd tried on too. Lucky.

"When can we go back?" I asked, missing the presence of Vic.

"In about twenty minutes. He said that more and more fans started recognising them," Alex told me, leading us into another shop.

I pouted, really wanting to see Vic. Sighing, I lost some of my enthusiasm, really missing him. Jack noticed, and tried to cheer me up. It was obvious that Scar also missed Kellin, but she was hiding her emotions. I could only tell, because she was my best friend. And, because she walked past a pair of leather boots, without trying them on. That meant seriousness.

Instead of getting that denim jacket I loved, I bought a leather wristband, well two, another one for Vic. I'd give it to him just before we went to bed. It wasn't very expensive, but I had to at least attempt to pay him back. Also, it would indirectly say that I was thinking of him, when we were apart.

*

Exactly three hours later, we were back at Warped, on Pierce The Veil's tour bus. The All Time Low boys joined us, along with part of Sleeping With Sirens. I'm pretty sure I also saw Austin Carlile, but I was probably imagining it.

I was trying to pick an outfit for the next day. However, I was debating over wearing my Pierce The Veil hoody, or my dark red jacket. They both matched my denim shorts. The shorts were the exact same shade as the jacket Alex bought. If only I could have afforded it, but my budget wasn't too good.

"Vic!" I called out, and he appeared next to me within seconds, "Which jacket do you like more?"

"Well, I'd say the Pierce The Veil one, I've heard that that band is really good. Apparently, their front man is really attractive..." we laughed, "But I think you should wear this one."

He handed me a plastic bag, which I opened up. Inside, was the denim waistcoat bought; the one I really liked. A grin spread across my face, followed by a confused frown.

"How...?" I asked, looking at him.

"I felt bad that you had to leave, so I gave Alex and Jack some money to get something you liked," he smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.

"I was wondering how Alex was a size six..." I laughed, "I love you," I told him, turning around in his arms.

"I love you too," he kissed the tip of my nose.

"I got you something, too," I grinned, pulling the bracelet out of my pocket, and giving it to him.

"Thank you, but you didn't have-"

"Just accept it," I rolled my eyes, and slipped it over his hand, onto his wrist.

He laughed, and hugged me tightly. Happily, I hugged him back, standing on my tip toes, so that I could nuzzle his neck. For a few minutes, we just stood still, enjoying each other's company. But one question was buzzing in the back of my mind, and it needed an answer.

When will I tell my parents I'm not going back to England?
