Warped Love

When two best friends go to Warped Tour - Scarlett and Ashley - they didn't expect to fall in love. Kellin Quinn - the lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens - and Vic Fuentes - the lead singer of Pierce The Veil - see two girls in the audience; two girls who they cannot ignore. With just two months of tour left, will they admit their feelings for each other? Falling in love with rockstars is never easy.

Ashley's POV

"Yes! We're finally getting out of here!" I cheered, as Scar was next to me, being pushed along by Kellin.

"Don't worry, there's loads of security waiting for us, outside," Vic told us, helping me with my crutches.

I nodded in acknowledgement, and we signed out. Vic and Kellin had paid for all of the treatment, because we were stupid enough not to pay for travel insurance. It was a huge relief that they had, yet they still felt guilty. The automatic doors opened, and a squad of eight guards surrounded us. Kellin and Vic had one each, then we had three each. More people, including the cops, held crowds back, as we made our way out.

A couple insults were yelled at us, but the crowd mainly wanted Kellin and Vic. They pretended not to notice them at all, and ignored all of the camera flashes. I squinted, trying to see my way through it. A tall, lean, security guard placed his hand on the small of my back, in a way of guiding me through the crowd. I smiled in thanks, and made sure I didn't trip with the crutches.

"Ash, steps," Vic warned me, as I almost walked straight into the bus.

Nodding in a way that said 'I knew that', I stopped using the crutches, and carefully climbed the three steps, leading up into the bus. Scar got out of her wheelchair, supported by all three guards, and managed to also climb them. Another guard folded the chair up, and brought it up, placing it next to the driver's seat.

"Hola, chicas! (Hello, girls!)" a happy voice came from the lounge area.

"Buenos dias, (Good morning,)" I replied, limping through to the lounge, to see Jaime playing Assassin's Creed.

"Como estàs? (How are you?)" he asked, not looking up from the TV screen.

"Lastimer un poco, y tú (Hurt a bit, and you?)?" I carefully sat beside him, trying to sit with my back straight.

"Estoy bien, gracias. Le deseo lo mejor, (I'm good, thanks. I wish you well,)" he finished his game, and turned his full attention to me.

"Gracias," I smiled slightly, "Okay, enough with the Spanish," I sighed.

"Yeah, I know, I wasn't expecting you to be able to speak it, that fluently," he sheepishly smirked, his eyes taking in every detail of every bruise on my body.

Tony and Mike came in, joining us on the sofa. They greeted me, looking a little bit hurt, as they also observed my injuries. I just forced a bright smile back, and greeted them too. It wasn't as nerve racking as last time; it felt like I'd known them forever. An awkward silence did manage to develop, though, and they were all watching me, as if they were desperate to ask me something.

"What?" I innocently asked, genuinely not knowing what they wanted to know.

"Are you and Vic together?" Mike blurted out, leaning forwards slightly.

"Yes, we are," Vic answered, casually leaning against the wall.

"Oh, Vic, we weren't expecting you here..." Jaime trailed off, scowling to himself.

"Well, I don't know whether you've noticed, but we're in the same band, and this is our tour bus," Vic slowly said to Jaime, as if he was five.

"Really?" Jaime sarcastically replied, taking a sip of his Coke.

"Really," Vic ignored the sarcasm, and nodded his head with wide eyes.

Silently, I sat still, fidgeting slightly, pretending not be socially awkward. I don't know how, but somehow, I'd been raised socially retarded, and in front of my idols... It wasn't my best talent. So instead of blabbing, I stayed quiet, and waited for simple yes/no questions. It would be useful.

"Can you talk?" Tony asked, poking my cheek, where dimples would appear if I decided to smile.

"Uh... Yeah?" I responded, but it came out as more of a question.

"Guys, back off, she's shy," Vic warned them, taking a seat next to me, more or less shoving Jaime off the sofa.

I bit down hard on my bottom lip, and began chewing it, totally ignoring my lip ring. I felt like they were judging me, even though I knew they wouldn't, and the heat was rising in my cheeks. I uncomfortably squirmed, and only stopped when I felt Vic's arm wind itself around my waist, gently pulling me against him.

"Sorry, dude," Tony held his hands up in defence.

"Aw! She's blushing!" Jaime cooed from the floor, sticking his bottom lip out at me.

If it was possible, I felt my cheeks burn further, and Vic slapped Jaime over the back of his head. A giggle escaped my lips, and Jaime looked like he'd accomplished something. The tension began easing, and I relaxed into Vic's arm. It was okay. They weren't going to judge me. I was just Ashley Greene, their brother's girlfriend. They wouldn't want to hate me. They'd try to get on with me. Everything's fine. Why was I so panicked, anyway?

"What's up?" a new voice asked, and I looked up to see Justin, of Sleeping With Sirens.

"The ceiling," Jaime cockily replied.

"Seriously dude? That's so old," Justin imitated a girly voice, and joined Jaime on the floor, "Wahey, it's Vic's new girlfriend!"

Another blush crept onto my face, as I nodded slightly, "Yeah..."

"I'm Justin," he held his hand out, upwards slightly, so I could reach.

"Ashley, but call me Ash," I gestured to the cast on my sprained wrist, so Justin retracted his hand.

"It's good to meet you," he smiled brightly, making me feel at ease.

"You too," I totally relaxed, and started up a conversation with all of them.

They were all incredibly kind, and sweet, and funny in their own ways. Jaime and Justin had a blast, making dirty comments on stuff the others said, whilst sat on the floor. Scar and Kellin were upfront, where she had plenty of room to make herself comfortable. After all, she was probably worse off than me.

Somehow though, my blush decided to stay fixated on my cheeks.
