It's Too Cold For Angels To Fly

Gabby is your everyday 19 going on 20 year old girl, right? Wrong. She is abused, unloved, and worst of all, in love with a stranger. But when an accidental Skype call turns her whole world around, this angel's world will get completely different.

28. Was It By Fate?

Louis's P.O.V.:
"Listen, you've got to follow me. Don't ask questions. Just follow me." I grabbed her hand and rushed her to the bus. I got her in as Rick shut the door. "Lou, are you okay? We noticed fans, so we didn't head out. We were screaming for you come back, but you must've mistaken it for a crazed fan scream," Niall reassured me. I took a sigh of relief as I sank into the couch. It hadn't crossed my mind until now that I didn't know the mystery girl's name. "Hey, I didn't catch your name."

"Oh, it's Eleanor. I'm a student at The University of Manchester, in England."

"Well, Eleanor. Would you like to try that beach one more time?"

"Sure, but can we go to another one? I kinda don't want to get trampled by fans." She let out a faint laugh as Rick drove off.

Eleanor's P.O.V.:
I can't believe I'm with Louis Tomlinson. On the tour bus. Going to a private beach. This is something I could only imagine. "Eleanor, there's something familiar about you." Harry caught me off guard. I was still trying to process everything. "You might have seen me at the mall a few years ago. I used to do floor modeling for Hollister."

"That's why! I used to shop there all the time."

"Yeah, I remember you. You look so different now." After that, there was kind of an awkward silence. I decided to just sit on the couch next to Niall's girlfriend, who I later learned was named Gabby. She was so pretty. I can understand why he likes her. I'm surprised that Louis likes me. At least I think he does. "Gabby, if you don't mind me asking, do you think Louis likes me? I'm not as pretty as some of the other girls he could like."

"Eleanor, are you crazy? You're beautiful. I'm jealous of how pretty you are. If he doesn't like you, then there's something wrong with that boy. Don't put yourself down. It doesn't get you anywhere in life." She pulled me in for a hug as I heard a child laughing. Out of nowhere, a little girl ran out and into Louis's arms. "Hey kiddo. How was your nap?" He tickled her to let out more laughter. A smile crept across my face at that sound. He walked towards me with her in his arms and introduced me. "Lux, this is Eleanor. Say hi!" She smiled and waved at me. "Hi," I said back. She was adorable. A woman walked out looking like she hadn't slept in days. "Lou, can I have a word with you?" She pulled him and Lux into the room and slammed the door.

Lou's P.O.V.:
"Louis, who is that girl," I said with a stern face. He put Lux down and sighed. "Lou, her name is Eleanor. I saw her on the beach. It's like we met by fate."

"El? I brought her out here a few days ago because she's a great guinea pig for new techniques. I don't want to experiment on you guys."

"So you know her?"

"Rick and I both. He saw how sad you were this morning, so he brought her to that specific beach to meet you. Whenever I work with her, she reminds me of you." He stepped back and sighed again. "So I didn't meet her by fate? It was a set up?"

"I'm sorry Louis. I didn't mean to hurt you."

Gabby's P.O.V.:
Eleanor was great with Lux. But then again, she's pretty easy-going for a toddler. Niall came behind me and kissed the top of my head. "Gabby, do you think our kid will be as easy-going as Lux?" I didn't say anything because Eleanor gave us a strange look. "Did you just say "our kid"?" I started getting very nervous when Niall spoke up. "I meant in the future. We wouldn't be having a kid now, if that's what you mean." I could see in his eyes that he was nervous too. I still don't know if I can trust her with our secret, being I only met her a few minutes ago. I'd have to wait a few weeks till she was close enough. Lou and Louis walked out just as we stopped at the private beach. It was beautiful. Niall grabbed my hand as be led me onto the warm sand. The breeze gave me the chills, so Niall took off his jacket and gave it to me. I took my heels off and held them until he stopped unexpectedly. I turned around and saw him smiling at me. I walked back, trying not to fall. "Gabby, there's a reason we're here. 1 month ago, we went on our first date. I never would have expected to have gone through some of the things that I have. We've had a pretty messed up month, from getting swarmed by paparazzi to finding out about our child. We've had our ups and downs, but we survived them. When I proposed, it wasn't as romantic as I should have been. I'm not gonna propose now, but," he got down on one knee and finished, "this is a promise ring. I promise to love you unconditionally forever and always. Will you accept the ring?" I nodded as he got up, put the ring on my finger, kissed me, and led me farther down the beach. We stopped at a candlelit table made of sand and wood, set out with food and rose petals. "Niall, did you do all of this?"

"I tried to recreate our first date, but a little more secluded and romantic."
