14. Chapter 14

*Irish's POV*

Harry and I hadn't talked since last night. Just because we were both not in the mood to talk to and I was so drunk. As Liam said. Eleanor was the one who drove me back to the hotel. I couldn't remember anything except that I yelled at a kid, walking with his Mom saying 'Don't do drugs' and then Sofie immediately covered up my mouth. That was crazy. I am defo crazy.

Anyhow, we were here at the studio for the boys' photo shoot today. Niall was all hyped this morning for some reason. I was the last one who got out of bed to prepare. I decided to go back in the tour bus 'cause I was getting really bored and my head was like hell. I rested my head on the window, wanting to get some sleep.

"Holaaaaa!!" Louis yelled as he jumped beside me. He just popped out of nowhere.

"You literally scared the hell out of me Lou!" I said.

"Im sorry. I was looking for you but you're nowhere in sight. You okay?" Louis asked.

"Yea. I'm fine. I was just--"

I was cut off by my phone ringing. Uh-oh. It was Mom. The call I was expecting for. Oh my Gas. I stared at my phone screen for a second and looked at Louis before I finally answered my phone.

"Hey Mom!" I said, trying to sound cool.

"Where are you?" She said with a serious tone in her voice.

"I'm still at work.. Mom." I replied, looking at Louis. Looked like he knew there was a problem.

"I need to talk to you." she replied, not changing her tone.

"A-about w-what Mom?" I asked, stammered.

"About the rumor. About everything. So please, I need  you to get here now okay?" She asked.

"Okay. I- I'm on my way. Bye."  I said before hung up the phone.

"Hey babe, something wrong?" Louis asked, his sea green eyes looking at me with worry.

"Mom's asking me to go home. She has already seen the news." I responded in a low voice.

"I'm sorry babe. I think you should go now and explain everything. It will be fine." Louis said, placing his hands on my shoulder.

"I hope so. I'll be back then." I said, trying to pull a smile on my face.

He nodded at me. We went out of the tour bus and I rode a cab on my way to our house.

*Louis' POV*

I went back to the studio. Irish then went home to talk to her Mom. The sadness and worry plastered on her face. I kind of worried about her. I hope everything went well.

"Hey Man, where have you been?" Liam asked me in the hallway.

"I went to see Irish in the tour bus but mate, we have a problem. Its about her."
I said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Her Mom apparently saw the news about she and Harry and asked her to go home and talk to her. And she left right away." I whispered on him.

"Who left?" A raspy voice suddenly came up behind us.

"Uh. Nobody. We're just talking about the direction to the nearest Starbucks here. If we should go right or left.." Liam said, this guy's so fast at making  excuses.

"We should ask Irish. By the way, have you seen her?" He asked.

"No. Maybe she's staying on the tour bus." I replied. I didn't want to lie on Harry but I don't want him to get distracted now.

"I might as well check her in a minute." Harry responded.

As we were about to stop him. Lou then called us.

"Boys come on now! Gonna do your make up!" she said, clapping her hands as she called for our attention.

"Well I'll just check her later." Harry said as we turned back and marched towards the dressing room.

*Irish's POV*

"Why did you lie to me? What's all with this stuff? When are you going to tell me all of this?" Mom asked. I expected her to shout at me and get mad but she remained herself calm sitting across the table.

"Mom. I'm sorry. I was about to tell you this but I was afraid that you wouldn't let me stay with them and just drop off the contract." I responded.

"What contract are you talking about? Tell me honestly, have you signed to be a drug dealer? " She asked.

My mom is paranoid, as always. Drug dealer. I couldn't help but laugh in my mind that she thought her daughter was a part of a syndicate or something. I would more likely to accept her saying that I have signed in to be a porn star. My figure sure fit on that job. but No. (Just kidding!)

"Mom? Seriously? Do you really think I would do that? No! That contract is for my fake relationship with Harry. And we both agreed on it. He asked some help from me and as an exchange, he promised to help us with George's treatment and all  that's why I gave in. This thing doesn't involve drugs or anything." I replied as I leaned towards her.

We stayed silent for a moment until the cold wind from the kitchen window hit us both.

"You don't need to do this. Irish. Its my job to sustain all your needs. Not yours.. not even Harry's.. Its.. its just no. I'm sorry." Mom said as she shook her head.

"Mom, you don't have to be sorry. You've done so much for us. The time you invest for me and George is more than enough. I'm doing this for us, Mom. I think there's nothing bad about it and I'm fine that I get to help Harry too." I said, reaching her hands across the table.

I walked up to her and enveloped her in a warm hug. I made her some tea and explained everything on her and how did I make up with lamest excuse in the world. I insisted that I'd stay with Harry and the other boys. Though Mom wouldn't want me to, she just let me go and agreed on my decision.

"Are you sure with that?" Mom asked as she sipped on her tea.

"Yes mom. You don't have to worry about me. They're all nice to me." I said, smiling at her.

"Well, I just don't want my princess to get hurt. Remember, you can call Mom anytime, okay?" Mom replied, kissing my forehead.

"Thanks Mom. At least you don't have to think if I was doing drugs or whatever." I chuckled, embracing her from behind.

"I love you baby." Mom said.

"Love you too Mom." I replied.

I checked George in his room, who was still sleeping  and hugged Mom one last time before I made my way to the studio. I told Louis that I'll be back then and it was already 4:30 in the afternoon. Harry might be looking for me.. or maybe not at all.
