16. Uh oh

"Serve it!" She screamed and I laughed drying my hair with a towel. Maria was trying to teach Eleanor how to play beach volleyball but she didn't look to successful. "Gosh like this." Eleanor threw her the ball and within seconds Maria served it over the net perfectly. She always had been good at sports and competitive, but she didn't have enough confidence in herself to do any sport professionally. Her long thick brown hair in a high pony making her look more preppy than she would usally like. "Gosh Eleanor try harder." Eleanor Served it over the next but it hit the net pole sending it flying back and she hit herself right in the gut. How did she even do such a thing I will never know. "Oh gosh. Will come here!" She screamed and looked over in my direction the first time since I had begun watching them. She did not look happy when she first looked at me. She kinda just furrowed her eyebrows curiously until her gaze fell upon someone else. Will who swiftly walked past me. "Yea dear?" She greeted him with a kiss and I had to remind myself they were in a relationship. She wasn't mine. Louis told me so in the beginning. "Can you teach Eleanor how to serve. You're a much better teacher than I am. You take things at a gentler approach." He nodded at her somewhat professionally and glided next to Eleanor. He leaned in close an talked in a whisper so I couldn't hear him. He looked to be demonstrating a serve to her. After a few minutes he stepped back and Eleanor tried again. This time it flew over the net perfectly, almost as well as Maria's did. "Gosh Will, thanks!" Eleanor hit him playfully and he smiled turning and walking back toward me. "How did you do that?" I asked him when he was close enough we could have a conversation. He smirked and Shrugged. "I got a way with the ladies." I pretended to chuckle even though I wasn't amused. "How did you win Maria over?" The words kind of just slipped put of my mouth. He opened a water bottle and looked at me amused. "She was a hard one. Pretty broken in the beginning from what you did to her." I tensed up and looked at him offensively. He had no right to say that. "I didn't break Maria. She told me she would be alright when I left." Will rolled his eyes and shrugged. "If you knew her you would know that she wouldn't be ok. Clearly you didn't pay enough attention to who she is." His voice had risen and deepened in the process. He was becoming angry but so was I . "I didn't pay enough attention? Oh please. You don't know that when she laughs hard she throws her head back because with you she doesn't. The other day she was so unhappy and you just believed she was. And you didn't get the hint she was uncomfortable talking about her private life." He got closer to me and whispered it rudely into my face. "She was uncomfortable of the reminder you used her for her body. You sick bastard." His words hit me like a bus. She had told him. Maria had told him about our private life. He too though I used her like that when I didn't.  But he had no right to talk to me like that. Not when he didn't know the whole story. "Get your facts straights Will. I didn't use her,  I loved her. And she gave me love me, which is something she pretends to give you." He looked at me, the bone structure of his face tensed and without warning he punched me  square in the face and kneed me in the groin making me fall to the ground. I could only mentally thank lord I fell onto sand.
