1. New House

~Morgans P.O.V~

Ugh. My alarm is going off, and that means it's morning. Today I have to go to a new college and I don't know anyone! "This should be a greeeat day" I whispered to myself sarcastically.
I finally got up and dragged my feet into the bathroom. I winced as I looked at my reflection in the mirror, the 'bruise' (hickey) on my neck was still there. Everyone at my new school would think I'm a whore. I took my eyes off of it, to try to forget about the image in my mind. I turned on the hot water of the shower, and got undressed. When I stepped in, the water felt so amazing running down my spine. I got a shiver of excitement, maybe this wouldn't be that bad of a day after all.
When I got out of the shower, I tried to find the perfect outfit. All of my clothes were still in boxes because I was too lazy to take them out. My mother and I just moved here, we wanted to go somewhere warm. So here I am, in San Diego, Calofornia. Knowing all my clothes were most likely wrinkled, I tried to choose the clothes closest to the top. The only problem is, all the clothes on top were dresses.
I pulled out my phone, checking the weather for today. It's supposed to be nice and sunny so I pulled out my favorite baby blue sun dress. It had a wide white belt around the waist, and I wore it with white toms and a white purse. I looked pretty good, actually. I decided to put on just a little bit of makeup, because I didn't want to look like a racoon on the first day and scare everyone.
When I finished putting on my makeup, I brushed my teeth. I straightened my hair, and wore it in a low side ponytail off of my left shoulder. It looked better than normal. I was pleased with myself.
I finally pranced down my stairs happily, excited for the day. My mom had already left on her business trip which meant I was home alone for the next 2 months. Wow, I'd never had this much freedom before! It felt amazing! I poured myself a quick bowl of cereal, and ate it fast. I didn't want to be late on my first day! I grabbed my bag and went outside. After I locked the door behind me, i began to speed-walk to school. I couldn't afford a car at the moment. Just. My. Luck.
