16. Chapter 15 Dates

*Lisa’s POV*

It was three forty-five now, so I got dressed for my date with Niall. I went downstairs and into the living room, where Eleanor, Louis, Dustie, Sara, Harry, and Rebekah all sat on the couch watching some movie. “How do I look?” I asked. They all turned towards me and smiled.

“You look amazing.” The girls say.

“Thanks.” I sat down on the couch and waited for Niall to get here. After fifteen minutes, the doorbell rang.

“I’ll get it.” I got up and answered the door. Niall was on the other side, holding a rose. He held the rose out to me and I took it, smiling.

“Of course. Now, I thought we would just walk around and eat at Nandos, which is only a few blocks from here.” He said, taking my hand in his, after I shut the door behind me.

“Sounds good.” The whole way to Nandos, we talked and laughed about random things. Luckily, there weren’t many people around, so we only got stopped by a couple fans, some giving me dirty looks, which I kindly returned. Once we got to Nandos, Niall asked for a table in the back corner, so he had less of a chance to be recognized. When we sat down, we each ordered a coke and started talking.

“So, how’s your day been?” He asked.

“Oh, pretty good, yours?” I asked.

“It was good, even better now.” I blushed.

“You look nice.”

“You too.”

“Rebekah actually helped me pick it out. I wish I had known where we were going, I would have dressed nicer.”

“Don’t worry about it, you look fine.”

“Thanks.” The waiter came back with our drinks and asked for our orders. Once the food came, we just spent the rest of the time talking, and learning more about each other.

“Listen, I’d really like it if you’d agree to be my girlfriend.” He said, after we finished dinner.

“I’d love to be your girlfriend Niall.” I smiled wide, and so did he.

*Dustie’s POV*

I looked at the clock and screamed. It was already 4:50. I jumped up from the couch and ran upstairs, changing quickly. I ran back downstairs just in time for the doorbell to ring. I yelled a goodbye to the others and opened the door. “Hi.” I said, a bit out of breath.

“Hi, you ready to go?”

“Ya, where are we going?”

“You’ll see.” We got into his car and we drove for about twenty minutes and came to the park. “We’re here. Come on.” He says trying to rush me out of the car as I grabbed my phone. He went to the trunk and pulled out a basket.

“Okay, okay I’m coming don’t rush me. Oohh pretty basket.” I said. He laughed.

“Anyway, I thought we’d have a picnic and just talk and walk around.”

“Let’s go find a spot.” After about five minutes of looking I found a spot under a tree but not too far we could still see the sky.

“This spot good?” I asked, pointing to the spot.

“It’s perfect.” He spread a blanket and started to spread the food out.

“Peanut butter and jelly?”

“Yep, Harry refused to help me cook.”

“How dare he!”

“That’s what I said!”

“I’m going to get Rebekah to make him be our chef when we get home.” He laughed at the comment.

“So, how has your day been?”

“It was pretty good till…”

“Till what?”

“I lost track of time and got ready at like last minute.”

“So that’s why you opened the door sounding a little out of breath.”

“Yeah… so, how has your day been?” I ask looking at him.

“Good until Harry wouldn’t agree to cook for me. But other than that it’s awesome.”

“That’s good.” We spent the rest of the time talking, getting to know each other more. After a while, we laid down on the blanket and looked at the sky. I rested my head on his arm.

“Hey Dustie?”

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Of course.”

*Sara’s POV*

At about 5:45 I went upstairs and got ready for my date. I really wanted to know where we were going and it’s been bugging me all week. I kept trying to get Zayn to tell me, but he never would. As soon as I made it to the bottom of the stairs, the doorbell rang. Perfect timing. I went to the door and answered it. Zayn was on the other side in a blazer, nice shirt, and dress pants. “You look amazing.” He said.

“Thanks, you don’t look too bad yourself.” He laughed.

“Yup, are you gonna tell me where we’re going now?”

“Hmm, let me think… nope.” He said, popping the ‘p’.

“Please?” I whined as we got onto his car.

“You’re just going to have to wait and see.” He said starting the car. We drove for a good twenty minutes before we turned into a place called ‘Japanese Gardens’.

“Are you serious?! We’re going to the Japanese Gardens?!” I said excitedly.

“Ya, do you like it?”

“I love it!”

“Good, I’d hoped you would.” He parked the car and we got out. Zayn took my hand in his, entwining our fingers. We walked into the gardens, and it was so beautiful. There were so many different and beautiful flowers. There was even a little waterfall and river, and a really cool bridge. After about ten minutes of walking around and talking, we went to the bridge, where there was a table and chairs set up, with a few candles.

I gasped. “Did you do all of this?”

“You’re so sweet!”

“Thanks. I have something to ask you before we sit down to eat though.”

“Okay, what is it?”

“Would you be my girlfriend?” I went up and hugged him, and he hugged me back.

“I’d love to be your girlfriend Zayn.”

“So that’s a yes?”

“Yes, that’s a yes.” I laughed. We sat down and began eating, talking to get to know each other better.
