14. .

4 more days....   That seems like a long time.

I was lying on my bed, throwing a tennis ball up at the wall, when Josie came bouncing in.

"Hi, Stephie!" She said in her cute little voice, she always calls me Stephie, because Stephanie is too hard for her to say.

"Hi Josie, what are you doing?"

"Grandma and me are going to the park, do you want to come?"

"No thanks. I was planning on just sitting back and reading my book. I have to get it done before spring break is over."

"Because, we're doing book projects, and I just need to get it done."

    "Ok. See ya."

     "See ya."

She skipped out of the room with her pink tutu bouncing around her waste.

I sighed. I should be spending more time with Grandma, but there's nothing to do.

I opened up my book, "The Hunger Games," and continued to read. I had gotten past the part where Rue was speared. Now, she has just found Peeta. Sometimes I feel like Katniss, domed in a big arena, just trying to get through challenges to find there's still more ahead.

I got through ten pages, when Buster came in.

    "Hi, Buster? Was you doing?"

I knew he wasn't going to reply, but I still asked him that anyway. Instead, he jumped up on the bed and licked my face.

   "Buster! Stop it!"

He settled down and lied next to me. He was so cute.

"They didn't take you to the park, Buster? Hmmm...that's weird, Grandma always takes you to the park. That's alright, you can stay with me. You probably haven't been getting any attention anyway, with Josie around. It's ok, you're not the only one Grandma's been ignoring."

I continued reading my book. I missed Blade. If I was at home right now, I could just go outside and ride Blade around the field bareback. I hope these next few days go by fast.
