17. Twitter Hate

As I shut the door, Maura gave me a stern look. "You're not one of those trashy models who's gonna break my Nialler's heart are you?", she said. "No mam.", I replied, almost a whisper. "Good, cuz if you break my Nialler's heart, you're gonna have to go through me.", she said. "I promise I won't break his heart.", I said looking down on the ground. By this time, I was ready to contact Niall. Her mom is making me nervous, it's like she's scaring me or something. I asked Maura where Niall's room is and she guided me upstairs saying, "Here. You better not make a mess. I have my eye on you Steph." "I won't I promise.", I said. I unpacked our bags, and fixed everything. When I was done, I decided to open my laptop and went on Twitter. I saw a lot of headlines saying "Niall's mystery girl", "Who is this lady?", "Victoria's Secret model dating the Irish hunk from 1D", and many more. I read a few of them and proceeded. Ugh. This is what I said before. I hate paps. Ew! Just no! I read my mentions on Twitter and some of them were from Directioners. Most of them were hurtful, but some of them were nice. "you suck bitch!", "get away from our nialler!", "nialler doesn't date skanky models.", "go die in a hole and burn in hell bitch.", and more. Reading all of those hate makes me cry. I started sobbing silently, and closed my laptop. A few minutes later, I fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of the main door downstairs opening. I quickly ran to the bathroom, and washed my face. I sat back on the bed, when Niall opened the door. "Hey babe. time for dinner.", he said. "Okay. How's the game", I asked. "Good. How's your stay so far?", he asked looking at me. I couldn't tell him that his mom said those mean things, so I lied. I know it's bad, but I guess it's for the best. "It was good babe.", I forced a smile. When we got downstairs, everybody is sat on the dinner table saying grace.
