Mary Kate would like you to know that she's having a very hard time

This is my story. It will contain rants, sappy letters, crappy stories, ASDFGHJKL moments, and the all together recollection of my hilariously loser-ish life.

31. Mr. Mark Reilly

Today in my town, a teacher has passed away. Mr. Mark Reilly was a fifth grade teacher who was on his way to work this morning when he was hit by a train. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to a nearby hospital. He is survived by a wife, and three kids. The oldest of which is in 2nd grade, and the youngest is 3. I was told in an assembly by my school principal earlier today. I didn't know Mr. Reilly very well at all, but when I did meet him he was one of the kindest people in the world. My friends who went to the elementary school were crying, people like me who didn't even know him were crying. I couldn't keep it together by the time we went back to homeroom. A girl named Kayleigh who has never once given me a hug pulled me into a bone crushing hug as soon as she saw me, and I returned the favor to her. Mira gave me a hug when she saw me as well, and thanked me for understanding so much what it was like for the kids who knew him best. I couldn't stop the tears forming, so thank you Melissa for staying with me whilst I tried to wipe them away, and not walking away without me. I will be there for the kids who knew him, and anyone who wants a hug. Rest In Peace Mr. Reilly, I am so so sorry that you had to leave the world this way, you were an amazing person, and I will never forget you. The world has lost an amazing person who can never be replaced.

Mark Reilly

Loving husband and father

We will never forget you

Love Always, Mary Kate Sherman whose life will never be the same
