It All Makes Sence to Me: These Litttle Things

The third and final book in the "Bear this in Mind' series, following "Meant to Be" contines on, skipping about 8 years ahead from "MTB".

In the story, Liam and Claire Payne have a big family of their own, and are doing a pretty goof job of figuring out what it's all about. However, not everything is easier with a family, over half of marriages end in divorce, and families can easily be torn apart and destroyed. Will they be able to beat the statistics with all of the crazy things that will be happpening in the future?

I hope you enjoy this book, and feel free to comment ANY suggestions you might have! Xxxx

5. Just another day in the life of the Payne's

5 YEARS LATER

"MOMMMMMM!!!!!!!", I was awoken to the sound of my thirteen year old daughter yelling my name.

"What isi it Riley?", I said entering her room.

"Its the first day of school, and I have no clue what to wear!", she complained.

"Well, what about this?", i said finding her a really cute outfit.

"Thank you mom!", she said,

I left the room, and headede ownstairs to check on the other kids.

"Austin, it's your first day of kindergarten!", i said as I found him in the kitchen eating his breakfast alongside Ryan, and Taylor.

"I know mom!", he said.

A few moments later, riely joined us in the kitchen too.

"I don't do breakfast...", she stated.

"Riley, you need to atleast eat a little something", LIam directed.

"But, I can't be late, Jake's gonna be here in like 5 minutes!", she freaked.

"Honey, why don't you eat a granola bar?", I said calmly.

(RILEY'S POV)

I toook the granola bar, stuffing it in my back pack and then grabbing my coffee from Tina ( the nickname kinda stuck over the years), and headed into the car as ir pulled into the driveway.

Since I barely saw Jake at all during the summer, we really had some catching up to do, and when I saw him I flipped out.

Then, I blushed realizing he was waay hotter than he was in June when I saw him last.

"How was your summer?', Louis asked me as I got situated in the car, right next to Jake so his legs would brush up against mine.  I was hopleesly in love with my bestfriend, and though I tried fighting it, this summer only made it harder.

"It was great", I responded.

"Did you have any romances?", louis asked, gettting into my buisness as ususal.

"Just ten..", I responded and Jake gave me  a weird look.

"I'm kidding ,there was two", i said remebering the Pool Boy, and the Vacation Boy, although they were great, it was nothing that wolud ever last.  there wasn't any kissing or anything, just hand holding and flirting was all.

"Ooooh", Louis said and I laughed.

"Well, you kids have a good first day", he said as we headed out of the car.

"Thanks", we both said heading out.

"What the hell happened to you this summer?", Jake said hugging me, then kissing my cheeek like he did sometimes, this time I realized his cheeks got a little pink.  I though it was nothing, i mean cmon we were ment to be just friends, that's all he wanted.

"Nothing really, you?", I said squeezing his arm and then the bell rang.

We headed to our lockers, right next to eachother just like I made my daddy request, and I stuffed my backpack in my locker, decoriating it a little with pictures of me and Jake, one of my family, and a few with me and some of my other friends, like Carly and some more girls from school.

We headed to our first hour, which we had together and also with Carly and Carter.  It was Spanish: my least favorite class.

The day carried on, and when it was over, Jake came home to my house and we just talked for the longest time.
