Dressing Up or Dressing Down? (One Direction/Lou Teasdale)

Melody is just an ordinary girl, or so she hopes. Her dream is to become a stylist, but after a traumatic experience it was locked in her inner closet. What will happen when she moves to London to be mentored by the famous Lou Teasdale, her idol? What will become of her when she meets the five lads everyone wants to meet? No one knows, except Fate.

30. Party With Lou

I woke up from my phone vibrating underneath me. I was still on the couch which I surprisingly didn’t fall off of. I looked at the ID and saw Lou texted me. She said to be ready in 30 minutes. Ready? For what? I thought we were going out tomorrow night… That’s when I saw the time and date. It already was tomorrow night! I ran upstairs and had a quick shower. Rummaging through my clothes, I found a black skin tight dress Lou had me buy and pulled it on. It was too tight to wear any underwear and I had to take out my belly ring as well. I let my hair down and it fell in its perfect curls down my back. I didn’t put my necklace and bracelet on, because it really didn’t fit in. I pulled my Plum boots on and did my makeup. I had gotten into really scene things lately. Dark makeup, dark clothes, I’ve always been into screamo music. I’ve even thought about getting snakebite piercings. I know it sounds weird, but hey, people change right? So after getting everything done I walked downstairs and met Lou outside. She looked a bit shocked at first, but then approved.

“Well, now I’m sure you’ll get into the club.” She smiles as we got into her car and drove to the club.

“Where are we?” I asked looking at all the people in the line and the amount of paparazzi waiting around.

“Funky Buddha.” She said parking the car around the corner. We walked up to the bouncer and he let us in immediately. It was crowded with people and I didn’t really know what to do. Lou dragged me over to the dance floor and we danced for a long while. Some random guy started dancing with me and we started grinding. It felt good to be honest. Lou dragged me over to the bar and we got a few drinks. And I mean a good few. I was feeling bubbly all of a sudden. I looked around and saw a mop of curls that looked vaguely familiar. It couldn’t be, could it? I walked up to the guy who was going at it with some tall skinny blonde girl. I tapped the guy’s shoulder and when he looked back at me, something deep inside me broke. It shattered to a tiny million pieces. I couldn’t believe Harry was here making out with someone else. I spun around and headed back to the bar to find Lou.

“Lou take me home please.” I yelled over the music. She nodded and we went home. Once there she walked me back to my door and asked what happened, because I was crying for the whole trip home. I told her what I saw. The look in his eyes not even knowing that what he was doing was wrong. The girl looked smug to be honest. I didn’t know who she was, but one thing was for sure. I never want to see Harry again. Ever.

“Mel, I’m so sorry..” Lou said looking at her hands like she was the one who had done it.

“To think I was going to give him my virginity!” I was crying and raging at the same time.

“Calm down. Put down the Xbox and just take a deep breath.” I didn’t even know I was about to throw it until she said that. I gently put it back down and sat on the floor. I was done crying for now. She walked over to me and held out her hand.

“What?” I asked looking at her hand.

“Just come on. I’m putting you to bed. You’re tipsy.” She said pulling me off the floor and helping me up the stairs to my cloud. I yawned and fell asleep before I even heard her leave.
