Child of The Sea

Helena Troy is a 16 year old girl who has known she was a Half-Blood since the age of nine. Unfortunately, her mother hadn't informed her of her godly father. During her time at Camp Half-Blood she discovers that she must go on a quest to save the gods. Will she save the Gods and the world? Or will the fate of the world tople to its knees in the hands of Helena?

{Please don't judge the book on the first few chapters... I was 13.}

16. Wait, where are we going?

Helena caught up with Annabeth. "Annabeth, what the Hades were you talking about? What about me and Mark?" in reply, Annabeth simply just gave her a smirk. This only frustrated Helena more. Helena saw three pegasi and reminded herself why they had packed. She ran to get Cinnamon, Blackjack's friend, whom Helena had made a connection shortly after she'd come to Camp. Helena knew that Annabeth was hoping to get the last Pegasus so that Helena would have to share with Percy - Gods forbid she'd get on the back of a Pegasus ridden by Annabeth, or even Percy. She silently thanked the Gods that she was faster than Annabeth.

The ride across New York was a lot longer than Helena had anticipated. It seemed a lot smaller driving through it, she thought. The four decided to stop after a few hours. Only then did Helena realise something. "Ugh guys, where are we supposed to be going?" she asked. She couldn't help it. It was her first ever quest, she didn't pay a lot of attention to the details spared. The others gave her odd looks before turning to each other with the realisation that they too, had no idea about what was going on. They stopped off at a diner, not far from Central Park. They all sat down and started talking, planning out where they would go or where the fleece would be. They were getting nowhere until the news was turned on and a reporter started talking. 'Today, there has been news of various creatures appearing all over the United States. One after one, over a hundred mythological creatures have been appearing from over thirty places, all start with a glowing Greek symbol, which we can now confirm is the symbol of the Greek Daedalus...' Percy and Annabeth looked at each other. "Looks like we're going back into the Labyrinth" Annabeth told Percy, fear painted on her face.
