{Please don't judge the book on the first few chapters... I was 13.}

6. Awkward moments and angry siblings

'When Helena turned around, she was faced with Mark.'

'Um hi?' Helena tried. Mark gave her a weird look and it was minutes before he replied.

'You know, you should really watch where you're going' replied the ever so witty Mark. Helena then realised how close they really were. She felt immense heat rise in her cheeks. So, before she could think of something better to do, she carefully slipped out of Mark's eyesight and swam for as long as she felt necessary. Once she broke to the surface, she realised Mark's confusion was now replaced with anger. He swam to the shore before giving Helena the stink eye. His iron clad jaw made his stink eye look as though he was smirking. This made Helena chuckle and caused many demigods to give her odd looks. Helena stopped after a few minutes and was wondering why Mark was still standing in front of her.

'Uh, hi Mark can you move please? You're blocking the sun.' Ugh, she sounded like a daughter of Aphrodite. He EVENTUALLY moved.

The next morning, Percy and Helena made their way to the amphitheatre and unfortunately, Mark was already there. Helena did the stupidest thing possible, she challenged him to a duel. At this point though, Percy had gone to spar with Annabeth. The time flew past and before Helena knew it, it was 3:00pm, the designated meeting time. Unfortunately, she got stopped by Percy on the way. He looked angry. He knew.

'What the HELL is wrong with you? You could get seriously hurt!' Urged Percy. 'Percy, I'm old enough to look after myself.' said Helena. 'Gods Helena! You've been here barely a week and you're already getting yourself into trouble!' he yelled.

'Guess it runs in the family then' said Annabeth from behind the pair.
