5. Chapter 5

Nikki's POV
Last night, I waited up for mum. She wasn't home, probably out with her 'boyfriend' a few more weeks and we'll be out of here. We got school today and another afternoon at Louis'. I actually felt sorry for him. I barely know him but I know he isn't what he appears to be.

"So can anyone tell me the answer?" Mr Barnes asked waking me from my daydream. "Mr Styles?" I looked over at Harry. "Uh-" he looked at me and at the teacher. "548 sir." I butted in. He looked at me. "Thank you Miss Benson. At least someone was paying attention." Harry looked at me with a smirk on his face. I shrugged.

After class was lunch. I decided to choose a table by myself and save everyone else the pity of sitting  next to the new girl. I was playing on my phone just hoping for then next painful 2 hours to go past quickly so I can go home.

"Temple run ha?" I looked over my shoulder to see Louis standing there. "Uh. Yeah." I said and looked back at my phone. "Mind if I sit with you?" "It's not my table." He chucked and sat beside me. I looked up at him and locked my phone, before placing it back in my bag. "Sorry about the other night?" I sighed and looked back down. "It doesn't matter. You don't scare me." He chuckled. "We still on for tonight?" "Don't see why not." It was quiet before I started to say something again.

"You may be fooling everyone else but I can see through this bad boy image of yours." He smirked. "What image?" "What's happened in your life to make you like this? Gentlemen don't do what you do. You follow everyone else." His smirk disappeared. "See ya tonight." I nodded and he stood and walked away. It's funny. I used to know someone like Louis Tomlinson. A girl version. She followed everyone else. Slept with a lot of guys and was dominant. Until one guy stopped her from being someone else. She was herself again. That's Louis. He needs help to find himself and I intend to be that help.

We were sitting in Louis' room talking about who we were and what we like. I had my laptop out, writing it all down. We were doing ours on a slideshow but we said it too. I was typing when my laptop went black. "Shit." I cursed. "What happened?" "My computer crashed." He moved so he was sitting next to me. He grabbed it and sat it on his lap. I examined Louis as he turned it upside down and pulled the bottom off it.

"Can you go grab the CD out of the second draw and bring it to me?" I stood up and walked over to his second draw, pulling out the CD. I was about to walk back to him when I saw a glasses case. I pulled them out, opening it. "Louis why do you have glasses?" He looked at me quickly jumping up and walking to me. "Why were you going through my draws?!" He snapped. "I wasn't. I got the CD and saw them. I'm sorry." He looked at me and his facial expressions softened. He grabbed the CD and walked back over to the laptop.

I held the glasses and walked back over to him. He had his head down. "Louis," "Don't tell anyone." I crossed my legs. "What's wrong with wearing glasses?" He looked at me. "They'll think I'm a nerd." I shook my head. "No they won't. If they did. Their not your friends are they?" He looked down. "Why did you change who you are?" He shook his head "I didn't, everyone else did." I knew exactly what he meant.

"You were bullied weren't you?" He nodded. "Louis, I know what your going through." "No you don't. You wouldn't know the first thing about changing." I chuckled. "Actually, I would." He looked at me confused. "I know someone who changed themselves for others. She was a girl who got bullied cause she wore classes and was intelligent. She changed, her clothes, hair, face, personality. She slept with a dozen guys. She lost herself, until she met a boy who helped her find herself again. Someone who knew her pain." He looked down. "It was you wasn't it?" "Hey Louis, don't change for people. I know your pain. Don't put yourself through this." I grabbed the glasses. "Show me the real you." He grabbed the glasses and sat them in his lap. I knew the only way to get him to open up is if I did too.

I went through my bag and pulled out my glasses, taking out my contacts and putting them on. He looked at me and smirked. "I'm not embarrassed by it if you aren't." He grabbed the glasses and took out his contacts and replaced them. "Wow." He looked down, red. "I told you, I'm a nerd." I rolled my eyes. I hate to admit it but he was like an angel. He didn't see how gorgeous he actually was.

"Okay then, your a nerd. But I would pick Louis the nerd over Louis the asshole any day." He chuckled and started fixing my computer again. I observed as Louis smiled. "Done. It's just got to download." I huffed. "Stay for movie while we wait?" I smiled. "With the nerd?" He nodded. "With the nerd." He stood up and helped me up. He grabbed 'Grease' and put it in the TV. We sat on his bed, he sat over one side and I sat on the other. "Do I smell or something?" I asked. He chuckled. "No. I just want to respect you." I smiled at how generous he was being. "Nawwwww. But sitting next to me isn't disrespecting me." I giggled and he moved next to me.

After all the ads before the movie it had singalong of play movie. I looked at Louis with an evil grin. He hit singalong. As soon as it started Louis was jumping on the bed singing. I was laughing so hard I thought I would pee myself. He picked me up and pretended to be singing into a microphone. I giggled and I pretended to have a microphone as well.

The song ended and we fell backwards. I landed onto Louis. He groaned. "Ah, sorry Lou." He chuckled. "It's cool." I giggled and rolled off him, a little too far because I rolled off the bed with a thud. I laid sprawled across the floor and Louis stuck his head over the top of the bed. "Are you alright?" He asked. I giggled, holding my head. "Yes." He started laughing. I stood up and jumped on the bed next to him. "It's not funny." I said holding back giggles. I pretended to fake cry. "Hit a nerve did I?" I laughed. "Don't use my lines on me." I hit his arms playfully. "Ow! That really hurt." I giggled. "Nawwwww...nah." He chuckled and looked at my face. We both started laughing again, tears streaming down our faces.
