Yet Another Runaway's Tale

(EDIT 2/12/16: Yes, I know this story is terrible and while I'd delete it out of shame I'm kind of keeping it so I can laugh about it with friends.)

In a little village in the south of England, Carmen Stacey and her best friend Travis are living in a world of sweet nothing. But when things become sour, Carmen abandons her modern fairy tale life.

Just half an hour away is a different society, run by the corrupt LittleVilla family, with the eldest daughter, Kimmy allready on the run. When a series of events becomes illegal, Grace LittleVilla flees with local troublemaker Henry Sapphire.

17. Chapter Seventeen~Carmen

"Wake up!"

"Huh?" I ask, I open my eyes and see Kimmy, with an annoying smile on her face like someone's just shaved my hair off.

"C'mon, we need to do something." She says, pulling me out of bed.

"Err. What?" I ask.

"You'll see. Meet me in the living room once you've got changed, 'k?"

"Okay." I reply, feeling a bit iffy. I mean what is she going to do?!

I get changed and put on a green t-shirt and pair it with some denim shorts. What? it's almost summer! I put on some

flip-flops and walk to the living room. Kimmy is waiting. And she has scissors.

"Okay...What's this all about?" I ask her

"Well. If people from where-ever you come from come looking for you and they see us, if your hair is different  they're less likely to recognise you."

"So, what do you suggest?"

"I bought some spare hair dye yesterday, I was going to dye my hair and I just some other colours so I could chose later. Strangely convenient don't you think?"

I laugh. "Are you asking me to dye my hair?"

"No. I'm telling you too!" She says in a jokey manor. You chose first. Oh and if you want me to cut your hair-"

"No. Don't."

"Ha! I know what I'm doing, I cut my little sister's hair once, mum and my step-dad went nuts but who cares!"

"Okay, just don't do anything drastic."

Kimmy smiles, she fishes out a boots bag from under a desk and takes out about six different hair dye boxes.

"Take your pick." She says, smiling.

I walk up to the boxes. Kimmy has good taste. There's blonde, red, brown, blue, purple. But the pink catches my attention, it looks peachy but yet it's really bright. The model looks quite happy too. I pick this box up and show it to Kimmy.

"Nice." She says, Kimmy walks towards the kitchen and comes back with a washing bowl. I hand her the box and she takes the contents out. She places them on the coffee table beside the couch.

"Okay, you ready Carmen?" She asks,

"Yeah."  I reply
