Stories I'll never finish

Like the title says, this is the stories I'll never finish. I often have great inspiration, yet I never manage to write more than a few pages or so before a new idea jumps to my mind. So I wanted to share them all; why I don't know.

Mature content and grammar fails might follow.

So here we go, my many stories, I'll never finish.

3. Arvel and the Demon child.

He woke up, screaming and sweating from another nightmare. His followers kicked his door open and lighted the room with their fire.

“Arvel, are you okay?” One of them asked and shook him as he gained sanity enough to speak.

“N-Nightmares... nothing worse.” He took a hand to his head and shook it.

“Nightmares... or visions?” One of them asked, the youngest one.

He looked at her pure face and smiled.

“Not to your concern yet, little girl.” He patted her on the head.

She were 16 years old, which made her the youngest of them all so far, though there were a pregnant woman amongst them.

She were decade's younger than the Oracle, but he was a holy person and did not age like mortals did. He were in his twenties, if anyone would've guessed.

“I have such every night, child. You don't have to worry about old me.” She nodded and left along with the others, so he could sit and make sense of this night, an decided to write down his mind about it;

“There were a demon child born in a holy place, it possessed the skin of a mortal though the mind of Valen, Queen and God of death and disaster. An immortal man is to sacrifice the child at the temple of Korisis the holiest of God's. The immortal man is accompanied with a younger girl, not a family member of either, no, she's a follower.” He closed his eyes to get her face out, he saw through the eyes of the immortal man.

“Lenna!” He gasped, the 16 year old from before.

He knew right away what had to be done. But that had to wait for the morning to come.

The followers had gathered to eat dinner, and Arvel approached Lenna, asking her to come with him and they both walked to the pregnant woman.

“Delphine.” He said and sounded serious. “Would you please take a walk with us?”

The garden of the little temple they had were blooming so beautifully as they walked through the colourful paradise. He stopped on a bridge and looked down into the water, the fishes were their own sizes and just as colourful as anything else around them.

“Delphine, I have news about your coming child.” He didn't smile, but she had hoped for good news and that showed on her face.

“No use to smile, it's not good news. Everything we feared is true, your child cannot be purified by living in this temple.”

Lenna pulled his sleeve, and he turned to face her. “What does this have to do about me, Oracle?”

“Patience.” Was all he said to her, and looked at Delphine who had begun to cry.

“You will give birth to a demon, possibly the next destroyer. Your rapist have been executed, which might have an influence on the child's power. But not much. My vision showed that he is to be sacrificed at the temple of Korisis, only place his power have no gain.”

She tried to stop cry and face him. Then she nodded, her agreement had gone easier than he had thought, but who'd want to have a demon as child.

Arvel looked at Lenna.

“I am the one to sacrifice the child, so my vision said. But I were not alone.” She knew what he meant by that and her act in this.

“We will leave the time the child is born. Demons grow faster than anything else, and we have a long journey ahead of us.”
