11. Concert Prep.

A light streamed through the window and a distant voice from the t.v. became clear. I tried to stretch to try to wake up fully, but my hand flew back and hit something, then my head fell of whatever was keeping it up and I hit something else.

" Ouch. Get off." someone moaned. They began to push me off of them. I was now fully awake and realized I was still on the couch with Jessica and if she kept pushing me I would fall straight on Cheyenne.

"WHOA! Jessica, STOP! WAKE UP!" I said shaking her with my arm that wasn't keeping me from toppling off the couch.

"Get up slowly" I said. She opened her eyes and slowly got up. I scrambled to push myself up and sit erect.

"What time is it?" she asked.

"OK, lets get washed up and put on some clothes then we'll cook breakfast for these bums."

"Alright." I stepped around the dormant bodies on the floor and made my way to my room. I decided to take out the clothes that were in my suitcases and put them away and then get dressed.

30 minutes later I had warm water rushing across my skin. It felt so relaxing. I then began to wash my hair. I put my hair up in a towel and wrapped myself up in a towel and made my way to my closet. I decided that Amanda, being the fashion freak that she is, would approve me wearing blue denim shorts with a yellow shirt, red suspenders and bow tie, and black chucks. I put all of it on and looked at my hair. I brushed it out and settled on putting it in a ponytail. Satisfied with my look I walked out of my room and into the kitchen where Jessica was already cooking.

"Here, you can start making everyone toast." she said tossing me a loaf of bread. I walked over to the counter and started putting the bread in the huge toaster and set it on a reasonable time.

" Do you think I pass the test?" I asked Jessica.

"I'm pretty sure, I mean you are the only person I know who can pull that off, so yeah."

As if on cue, the queen walked in with a stunning navy blue dress, white sandals, and white head band. Her presence almost made me forget the toast, which I ran over to take out before the whole apartment burned down. I brought out the butter and jelly to apply on each piece.

"You look amazing, Mandy." I said buttering a piece of toast.

"Thanks. You guys look cute, too." she said and came over to help me with the toast. Jessica turned around from the skillet of bacon that was on the stove.

"Told ya', Kim"

"Shut up." I said with a smile.

"What?" asked Amanda.

"Nothing." Jessica and I both said in unison.

"Uh-huh" Amanda said suspiciously.

10 minutes later we had breakfast laid out and ready. Risa and Cheyenne joined us and we ate and talked. After finishing, we grabbed our purses and headed outside.

"So, where do we go first." I asked.

"How about the University, its only a few minutes walk away." suggested Amanda.

We walked past a few shops until we were outside the school campus. I looked around and saw a small cafe. I eyed the cafe thinking about how it could be the perfect study place or where my first job would be.

"Come on, guys, I'm already depressed looking at this place." whined Risa.

We all turned and walked away into the first store we saw. No one was there except for two girls ans the sales clerk.

"Alright everyone. Pick out something that you think will be concert material. Remember, getting one step closer to the boy of your dreams depends on this outfit." said Amanda.

A shiver went up my spine as I thought of those deep hazel eyes of Zayn. This was crucial. I really needed a good outfit. However, I didn't know where to start so I just picked up the first thing I saw which was a pair of cheetah print shorts. There was a gorgeous off the shoulder sheer shirt that was a mixture of red and orange. I decided to grab it and keep moving. I saw a pair of cheetah gloves and grabbed them and thought about cutting off the finger parts later. There was also a black bow tie necklace that I knew I absolutely had to have. I walked over to the shoes and found a pair of gladiator sandals that were similar in color to the shirt I had. Something these coincidences were a sign so I quickly went over to the dressing room where Amanda was sitting waiting.

"Watcha' got, love?" she asked.

"Wait. Are you done." I asked in awe.

" Easy. I already had a vision of what i wanted to wear and I found it, surprisingly."

I guess that's what happens when you're an expert clothes shopper. What you want just magically appears.

"AWWWW. Kimmy, you're going to look so cute in this stuff." she said rummaging through the clothes that I gave to her. "I approve. Now go in the dressing room and change. Don't come out until I say so we all can see each other at the same time."

I just nodded surprised she actually liked my choices. I slid into the room and changed and then looked at myself in the mirror. I had to admit... I looked pretty good. I sat on the bench and awaited the approval of the other girls and the cue to come out. Cheyenne was next to pass and then Jessica. Risa must have decided to mess with Amanda because she had to go back about 3 times. I think Amanda got fed up and just picked her something to wear. The next thing I knew I was hearing Amanda's voice.

"Alright girls, ready."

"Roger that captain." said Risa.

"1...2...3....Now," I pulled back the lock and stepped out. I looked to the right to see Amanda standing in front of a group of mirrors waiting for the rest of us. By looking at her outfit, I knew I had no chance of attracting anyone.

"OOOOO. Who is this kitty cat." I heard someone say. I turned around to see Risa and Jessica smirking at me. Risa raised her hand and mimicked the clawing of a cat.

"Meow." she said.

"Shut up."

"Kim, you look so cute, don't listen to them." said Cheyenne pushing through the two girls.

I stood gawking at Cheyenne. Remember how I said Amanda looked amazing? Well, Cheyenne looked, like, 10,000 times better. Now I officially lost. Scratch that. We all officially lost. Cheyenne had on a radiant navy blue dress that criss-crossed across the neck line and had a snug fit near the stomach and sort of flared out at the bottom. To tie it all together, she had on wedges that were same color as the dress and they laced to her ankles. She also had a pretty silver bracelet with blue gems. If one direction didn't notice her from the beginning then they were complete idiots.

"Wow. You make me look like crap." I said. Cheyenne blushed and looked down at her shoes.

"Aww. Thanks." she said quietly.

Jessica and Risa came and stood on either side of Cheyenne. Apparently they had just noticed her outfit and were in the same state of awe as I was. Risa kept glancing between us and nodded her head.

"You're right. She does make you look like crap." she said with a slight smile. I narrowed my eyes and took a small step towards her when Jessica grabbed my arm making me take two steps back.

" What Risa meant to say was that, Cheyenne makes us all look like crap." She gave Risa a glare as she talked. "You look amazing Chey."

"Thanks, Jessica. You look amazing, too. All of you do." she said gesturing to all of us.

I looked to see what the rest of them were wearing. Jessica had on a cute powder blue colored plaid shirt with white skinny jeans and a twist of black and white combat boots. Amanda had a gorgeous hazy lavender strapless lace dress which was kind of ruffly up top. She tied a brownish-greenish belt across her waist and had a lavender bangle on her wrist and white sandals. Lastly was Risa who was wearing white washed cut off, a black shirt that cut off at her midriff and the word LOVE written across it, and white Nike high tops with a black snap-back. Classy, Risa. Real classy.

"Alright guys what do ya think." Amanda asked.

We all looked at each other and nodded feeling content with our outfits.

"M'kay. Lets change, pay for this stuff and get something to eat because I'm starving." Amanda said.

We headed back to our dressing rooms and changed clothes. We went to the cashier and she rung her our stuff. We walked out of the store and kept walking and found a restaurant called Nandos. As we walked in a sweet aroma hit my nose and I soon realized how hungry I was. A lady showed us to a table in the back and handed us menus. By glancing over it I noticed that mostly everything was chicken. I decided to order the barbecue grilled chicken sandwich with french fries. Jessica ordered the same thing I did, Amanda and Cheyenne got chicken tender platters, and Risa had popcorn chicken. When the food arrived. I picked up my sandwich and took a bite. Well, lets just say I didn't stop taking bites until the whole sandwich was gone. It was AMAZING! I've never had chicken that tasted so good. I mean, like, chickens should be honored to be cooked here. I mean, not in a bad way or anything, but... its just so good.

After eating we found a cab to take us back home. I put the clothes in the closet of my room and changed into some sweats and a t-shirt. I made my way to the  living room where the girls were already sitting in a circle playing a game.

"Alright, so here's the master plan." said Jessica. "To my knowledge our seats are towards the front row so we each will try to make one of the boys notice us. I will take Niall, Amanda gets Harry, Ri-"

"I CALL LOUIS!!" shouted Risa.

"Yeah, Risa gets Louis, Cheyenne gets Liam, and Kim has Zayn."

Zayn. It was so different. Z-A-Y-N. I loved it.

"So don't you guys think we're forgetting something?" I asked

"What?" They all asked.

I ran to my room and grabbed my laptop. I went to YouTube and typed what I wanted and put the volume to 100%.

Yo're insecure, Don't know what for,

You're turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or.

I began to dance like a lunatic. Jessica and Amanda burst out laughing and Risa just shook her head. Cheyenne, however, hopped up and started dancing with me. For someone who was really shy and conservative, she knew how to par-tay and I mean par-tay. I could always count on her to get things started. After a fit of giggles the others joined us and we danced until early in the morning.

That's what makes you beautiful.
