***Beth’s POV***

-2 days later-

Tonight was Justin’s party. Niall has been overly excited since he found out about it. I have barely talked to Liam since our fight. He has made his efforts but I just ignore him. I slipped out of my bunk and walked out to the lounge. Niall and Harry were playing Call of Duty on the TV and Zayn, Louis and Liam were sitting around the table eating cereal.

“Sleeping beauty has awoken.” Louis grinned.

“Oh shut up Lou. I like my sleep.” I mumbled.

I walked into the little corner you call the “Kitchen”. I grabbed a bowl and poured some coco puffs into my bowl. I grabbed the milk and poured some in. I grabbed a spoon and sat down next to Harry on the couch and watched him and Niall play Call of Duty.

“Justin’s party is tonight remember?” Niall grinned.

“How could I not? You never shut up about it.” I said.

“I find it amusing how Niall is more obsessive over Justin Bieber than Beth.” Harry grinned, not taking his eyes off the screen.

“Why? Because I’m a girl?” I smirked.

“Actually yes.” He said.

“I’ll have you know Harold, that most 18 year old girls… are NOT obsessed with Justin Bieber. I love his music but I don’t know everything about him.” I said.

“Unlike someone.” Louis grinned.

*Cough* *Cought* “Niall.”Zayn coughed.

“Excuse me! Its not an obsession! Its dedication! If I was one of those super crazed fans I would freak out every time I saw him.” Niall informed us.

“Niall sweetheart, you sound like some of my friends that are big fans of you boys. They are always like ‘ No shut up Beth. Its an obsession not dedication.’” I grinned.

“You were a fan of us right?” Harry asked.

I smirked. “Nope. I think you are forgetting that I had a quite strong hate for a certain member of this band.”

“Oh yeah, speaking of Liam, when are you going to forgive him?” Niall asked.

I shrugged. “When I feel like it.”

“Bethie please talk to me.” Liam begged.

I fought the urge to look at him. I didn’t say anything, I just went back to eating my cereal. I looked out the bus window and saw that it was raining.

“Well isn’t it nice weather today. I thought California was supposed to be nice year round.” I said.

“Its better than the weather in England.” Zayn told me.

“That is true.” I replied.

We all finished our breakfast and went off to do our own things. I walked back to my bunk and decided to write more of my song. I sat in my bunk for a while before another verse came to my mind.

Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes. Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go. But moving on from him is impossible. When I still see it all in my head. Burning red. Darling it was red.

Over the next hour I managed to finish the song. I looked down at the completed song and read it over.

Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street. Faster than the wind, passionate as sin ending so suddenly. Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall. Like the colors in autumn, so bright just before they lose it all.

Losing him was blue like I'd never known. Missing him was dark grey all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red. Loving him was red.

Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you. Memorizing him was as easy as knowing all the words to your old favorite song. Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer. Regretting him was like wishing you never found out that love could be that strong.

Losing him was blue like I'd never known. Missing him was dark grey all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red. Oh, red. Burning red.

Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes. Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go. But moving on from him is impossible. When I still see it all in my head. Burning red. Darling it was red.

Oh, losing him was blue like I'd never known. Missing him was dark grey all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. 'Cause loving him was red. Yeah, yeah, red. We're burning red. And that's why he's spinnin' 'round in my head. Comes back to me, burning red. Yeah, yeah.

'Cause love was like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street

I smiled down at the paper. I hopped out of my bunk and walked out to the lounge.

“I finished writing my first song.” I announced proudly.

“That’s great! Can we hear it?” Louis asked.

“If you want.” I smiled.

I looked down at the sheet and began to sing my song. When I finished they all grinned at me and clapped.

“Who is it about?” Liam asked.

I shrugged, I’m kind of tired of ignoring him. “Just some guy.”

“Do I know him?” He asked.

“You might.” I told him.

“Whats his name?” He asked.

“Look Liam, if I’m not allowed to ask questions about your mystery girl, you cant ask questions about my mystery boy.” I told him.

I saw all the boys except for Liam smirking at me.

“So, how was it?” I asked.

“It was really good. What is it called?” Louis asked.

“I don’t know. I’m thinking about Red.” I told them.

“That sounds good.” Niall told me.

“Yeah.” I said. “So what time does the party start?”

“6:00. It’s kind of formal also.” Niall told me.

“Ok.” I said.

I walked back to my bunk and turned around and saw Niall, Harry and Zayn following me.

“Can I help you children?” I asked.

“We know who the song is about.” Harry grinned.

“Oh?” I asked.

“Liam.” Niall smirked.

I raised my eyebrows. “How did you come to that conclusion?”

“Just the way you look at each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were Liam’s “Mystery Girl”.” Zayn told me.

I rolled my eyes. “You 3 are delusional.”

“Whatever you say Beth.” Harry smirked.

“I liked you better when you were playing your video games.” I told them.

“Oh you’re just jealous because we are better than you at Call of Duty.” Niall grinned.

I raised my eyebrows at them. “Is that a challenge Horan?”

“Oh yes. Prepare to sorely loose.” Niall grinned.

We walked back out to the bunk.

“Just a fair warning, I happen to be quite good at this.” I told them.

Liam’s eyes widened. “One of you is playing Beth in Call of Duty?”

“Yep.” Harry grinned.

“Well then prepare to loose.” Liam smirked. “I still have yet to beat her in a game.”

Niall and Harry stared at me.

“Challenge accepted.” Harry grinned.

Harry handed me a controller and sat down on the couch.

“Harry first then me.” Niall said. “I have never met a girl who plays Call of Duty.”

“Well now you have.” I told him.

Harry and I started to play. After 5 minutes I was in the lead… by 10 kills.

“Liam… I refuse to end up like you. I must beat her.” Harry said, not taking his eyes off the screen.

I found Harry on the screen and shot him. Right in the head.

“Headshot!” I screamed happily. “Ahead by 11 kills by the way.”

There were 20 seconds left in the game. Harry was now 15 kills behind. As the clock ticked down Harry wasn’t able to find me. The moment the game ended Harry groaned in frustration.

“I feel like I just lost my man card.” He groaned.

“You’re just mad because you got beaten by a girl in Call of Duty.” I smirked.

I looked at Niall. “You up for the challenge?”

Niall smirked at me. “Harry is just an amateur. I am quite advanced.”

“I am not!” Harry whined.

I began playing Niall. He too was loosing.

“No! No! This can’t be happening!” Niall groaned.

“Oh but it is Horan.” I smirked.

The game ended and Niall fell off the couch and onto the floor. Hr groaned and lay there a while.

“How does that feel?” I smirked.

“Like crap.” He mumbled.

“Hey Beth, do you have any friends that are girls that also play Call of Duty?” Harry asked.

“I might. Depends why you’re asking.” I grinned.

I got up and walked back to the bunks, Niall still lying on the floor. Don’t ever underestimate me. You would be surprised what else I can do.
