Once upon the seas

A series of poems related to the sea

7. Kelp part two

I grow awake, from from horrendous dreams,

Where I was kidnapped in an underwater cave.

My eyes flutter open, It wasn't a dream, it seems,

For I am still chained, looks like I'm a slave.

I realize, I can breathe, I look down, and out come screams:

My legs are gone. The one who did  deprave

me from my humanity, replaced them with a tail that gleams.
