Wizarding Week

Louise has always dreamt of going somewhere completely new, and when her school organises an exchange with a mysterious school called Hogwarts, it's her perfect moment. Louise doesn't realise the magic behind the doors of Hogwarts, and maybe, just maybe, she might even fit in with the people there more.

18. Spinning.

As soon as I saw him, I knew, I really knew that I loved him. I had ever since the first day I saw him. He looked beautiful, with his platinum hair brushed over his face, his mouth curved into one of his rare smiles. My head was spinning still, but my heart was still racing, I could feel it through my night shirt. I wanted to go over and see him, but I was scared that the nurse, Madame Pomfrey, would wake up from her room next door.

Draco turned in his sleep, murmuring something. I couldn't make out what it was, but I was curious. Maybe there was a possibility that Draco could remember me, in his sleep, after all, it was all his evil father's fault that he forgot me in the first place. However, maybe he didn't forget me, I had to believe that deep down, my Draco was still there, and that Draco loved me. I decided that I needed to take a chance and go and see what he was saying, ever since Draco came into my life, I found myself being a little more rebellious. In fact, ever since Hogwarts, I had become a different person, so many things had changed me, magic, my new power. Everything.

The floor was wooden, so I guessed it would be quite creaky, I was worried it would wake Madame Pomfrey. As soon as my feet touched the floor, I realised how freezing it was, I reacted to fast and the floor creaked loudly. Panicking, I looked up at Draco to see if he had woken up, but he had just stirred slightly, and then turned back over, still asleep. It didn't take me long to get across the room, I did it quite easily compared to how my journey started.

Draco had a blue blanket covering him, and each of his arms were placed down his sides. I stood over the bed and placed my hand on his. My hand was like a radiator compared to his icy one. I felt like he was a corpse and I was mourning him. His usually pale skin was white. I squeezed his hand slightly, not enough to wake him, but just to let him know I was there. To my surprise, I felt a little squeeze back. I bowed my head, kneeling down so my face was next to his.

"Louise," I heard a murmer come from his mouth, "Louise, I love you, I'm sorry, please don't go, please..." his eyes were still shut so he was still asleep. A tear slid down my cheek as I lifted my head up to look at him, he remembered me. If he remembered me, the spell could be reversed. It was like my Draco was inside a shell, and couldn't get out. I decidede then and there that I was going to do anything to get him back. Anything.
