Haters Gonna Hate

Everyone talks about the girlfriends breaking up over the hate but what if you were the person sending the hate. Millie Cathy is sick and tired of One Direction and all their fame. She thinks that they are just big-headed and that their girlfriends are gold-diggers.
Louis Tomlinson has been noticing her tweets but it's hard not to. They are always bold and strong, either directed to them or Eleanor, Danielle or Perrie. When Eleanor breaks up with him, Louis starts targeting her, thinking that she was the reason and over twitter, things can get pretty heated.
What happens when pure and utter hate turns to something unexpected. And maybe there is a reason behind all this hate, maybe she was provoked and maybe there is an explanation.

25. Fair-Haired Girl

Millie's POV

I frantically pulled on my skinny grey jeans and flung on the nearest top I could find. To say I was panicking was an understatment, I was having a flipping heartattack.

Louis had left 5 minutes beforehand and although my thoughts should have been on Rosie and what I was going to do with her today, it was just concentrated on Louis.

His 'apology' wasn't much but yet, in his eyes it looked as if he wanted to say more. Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door and I sent out a colourful array of swear words as I grabbed my bag from my bed.

I smoothed down my hair and opened the door graciously, trying to calm down my nerves but the fair-haired girl I was expecting was replaced with a curly-haired, green-eyed boy I was not in the slightest please to see.

"H-Harry? What. I mean, what are you...," I spluttered, not knowing what to say. His eyes were focused on the ground and his arms were hung loosely by his sides.

Suddenly, anger rose up in me and my stare turned into a glare. (Rhyme not intended) "Harry, if you aren't going to say anything then get the hell out of here! Right now you are literally the last person I want to see," I said angrily.

I could tell Harry was surprised by my response to his silence but right then, I couldn't care less. "Just let me come in," he answered gruffly.

"Hell no! You think you can just waltz in here? I am expecting someone and I don't think either of us want to see you," I replied. He ignored me and pushed past me into my flat.

"Get out Harry!" I said pointing to the door. "No," he replied. "Why? What do you want? I haven't spoken to you in years and I would like that to continue," I said.

"Well that isn't going to happen if you are dating my best friend," he muttered. I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. I just spluttered nothings into the air.

"I am definitely not dating, repeat, not dating and since when was he your best friend. The last time I checked, best friends were supposed to be there for each other. You and Louis haven't spoken since I have seen you," I retorted.

Harry's eyes drooped with saddness but right now, he was getting no sympathy. "Look, we need to talk," he mumbled. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Oh, we need to talk," I mimicked," that isn't happening Styles and it will never happen so get over it."

Harry gripped my arm suddenly, reaching the force that Louis had got to. "Get off of me," I squirmed, trying not to show any pain. Harry's eyes flashed and he slowly released me.

He was about to speak when we heard a knock at the door. My eyes widened and started to freak out mentally. "Hide Harry, hide now!" I whisper-shouted. Harry nodded and ran behind the island in the kitchen.

It was a terrible hiding place but right now, I didn't have time to get mad at him. I tried to calm myself down before opening the door to meet the fair-haired girl I was expecting to meet.

Her eyes were cast onto the ground and I hardly heard a "hello" mumble from her mouth. "Urm, hi Rosie. I will be with in one sec, I just need to urm, get something," I muttered.

She just nodded and I slowly closed the door, sighing. She hadn't changed. I hurried to Harry who was standing up staring at the door.

"Harry, I have to leave now but seriously, when I leave, you leave! Here is the--"

"That's the person you didn't want me to see? Rosie?" he said. I narrowed my eyes at him," yeah and I am sticking by my decision. You need to get the hell out of here and stop trying to reappear in my life, let alone Rosie's. Here is a key, when I go with Rosie, you leave straight afterwords and leave the key under the doormat. Understood?"

He just nodded, his eyes firmly fixed on the door. I wanted to punch him right now but I knew I couldn't, this just wasn't the time. I grabbed my bag which had somehow flung off my shoulder and onto the sofa and went back to Rosie.

My arm was still aching in pain but I ignored it, trying to concentrate on Rosie. Rosie wasn't saying anything and I sighed, knowing that I probably wasn't going to get her to talk or if she would answer, it would be a simple 'yes' or 'no'.

We walked down the corridor and entered the lift. It was only until the doors started to close when I noticed that Rosie was shaking slightly. "Er, Rosie are you ok?" I asked cautiously.

She narrowed her eyes at me and snarled," why would you care." Suddenly, wishing that I hadn't said anything, I shook my head and turned back to face the opaque, metal walls surrounding us.

Curse mum making me take Rosie out.

But now, all I could think about was Harry and hoping that he was getting the fuck out of my flat.
