Haters Gonna Hate

Everyone talks about the girlfriends breaking up over the hate but what if you were the person sending the hate. Millie Cathy is sick and tired of One Direction and all their fame. She thinks that they are just big-headed and that their girlfriends are gold-diggers.
Louis Tomlinson has been noticing her tweets but it's hard not to. They are always bold and strong, either directed to them or Eleanor, Danielle or Perrie. When Eleanor breaks up with him, Louis starts targeting her, thinking that she was the reason and over twitter, things can get pretty heated.
What happens when pure and utter hate turns to something unexpected. And maybe there is a reason behind all this hate, maybe she was provoked and maybe there is an explanation.

7. Bodyguards

Millie’s POV

“I’ll be back later Imo!” I shouted as I grabbed my coat and my bag. “Ok, have fun!” she shouted back and I shut the door. I pulled on my coat and wandered down the lobby, out the building and to my car which was parked neatly by the sidewalk.

I glanced down at my phone for about the millionth time that day, checking the time and date. Yes, it was Monday and it was 11:45, giving me 15 minutes to get to The Espresso.

If you said I was panicking, that was a serious understatement. I was literally on the verge of having a fit. I was scared that I wasn’t even going to make it to there without having a car crash.

I shook my head and clambered in, setting my bag down on the passenger seat and starting the car. I drove my Polo out the drive and drove through the streets of London.

My car was nothing fancy. I couldn’t afford it to say the least and to be honest; it wasn't like a flashy car was going to define my success in life. It was practical and it wasn't a decoration.

My hands were shaking on the steering wheel and each turn I took, I felt my nerves increase. This was ridiculous. How had I got myself into this situation?

I was meeting up with one of the world’s biggest pop stars because of a tweet. Somehow Louis Tomlinson had noticed my ‘horrible’ tweets and decided to reply and then the media had gone and-

“Shit,” I muttered and waved apologetically at an old lady who was now standing, desperately frightened, on the pavement. Curse Louis Tomlinson, the media and the whole of One Direction for making me drive so badly.

Sooner than I had hoped, I saw the header for ‘The Espresso’ and I parked my car just outside. I hopped out, running my hand through my long, dirty blonde hair and trying to settle my nerves. Why was I even nervous? Louis Tomlinson was just some celebrity who was stuck up and was too worried about how he was being portrayed in the media.

I walked anxiously into the coffee room and started to scan round the room. I glanced down at my iPhone which was showing Louis last DM to me, telling me what he would be wearing if I got here after him. I had replied saying what I would be wearing and it had taken all my physical strength not to wear something different.

I couldn’t see anyone wearing blue jeans and a red hoodie with sunglasses so I made my way to an empty table and sat down. I looked down at my phone, scrolling through are previous and short-lived messages to each other.

Every few seconds, I would glance up and look uneasily at the door, just waiting for it to be burst open and a smug looking man to strut through the door. But unfortunately, for another 10 minutes no such thing or human came through.

I rolled my eyes mentally and sat back in my chair. Did I actually expect he would be on time? Of course he wouldn’t, he had probably forgotten about me or something.

I looked out the small windows, watching the cars drive past. I spotted a small blue Honda park up on the street and another red Fiat park near it. Two men came out of the red Fiat wearing dark sunglasses and black clothes.

God, I felt like I was in some spy movie or something. What the hell were two thugs in black doing outside a coffee room? I shook my head chuckling slightly and took another sip of my water which I had taken out of my bag.

I scrolled down my phone and wondered whether I should just leave. I mean, he probably wasn’t going to show up so why wait? Suddenly, I heard the door open slowly and a man walked in.

I stopped myself from laughing out loud when I saw the two men dressed in black standing behind him, like they were his henchmen or something. His eyes were covered with sunglasses but even then, I could see he was concentrated on me.

I looked him up and down, only just realising that he was wearing the exact things @Louis_Tomlinson had told me he was going to wear. Ok. Really? He had to bring his bodyguards with him? Yeah, because a girl like me with absolutely no muscle was going to punch him to pieces.

Well, coming to think of it, I bet he wasn’t even that strong. He walked over to me slowly and I straightened up in my seat, shoving my phone into the pocket of my jeans and raising my eyebrow at him.

“Are you ‘At Millie Hates One D’?” he asked slowly. “Are you ‘At Louis Underscore Tomlinson’?” I retorted back. He huffed slightly and crossed his arms. “Just answer me already?” he groaned.

“Why should I? I asked you a question too,” I said, smirking slightly, my sassiness lighting up inside me. “Yeah but I asked first,” he said, getting slightly peeved off.

“And I asked second? What difference does it make? If it comes down to it all, first the worst, second the best,” I said sassily, crossing my arms as his lips pursed with anger.

“Just fucking tell me!” he said loudly. “You know, I don’t think that you are going to get anywhere talking to ladies like that. How do you even have a girlfriend?” I asked.

“I…” he trailed off while I raised my eyebrows. “You what?” I asked. “Just tell me!” he shouted. People stared at him and I gave them apologetic looks while rolling my eyes.

“Fine but only because you are annoying the fuck out of me and you are causing a commotion,” I said sighing,” yes, I am ‘At Millie Hates One D’. Are you ‘At Louis Underscore Tomlinson’?”

“Yes I am.” “Aw, well isn’t that good. We are now on a twitter names basis,” I said sarcastically. He huffed and I looked round him, seeing his bodyguards standing there firmly and not moving.

“Seriously, you had to bring your bodyguards? Are you too scared that a girl is going to hit you and you will have no protection?” I asked sarcastically. “Just shut up,” he muttered.

I chuckled but nodded,” well, what did you want to talk about At Lou—““Just call me Louis for god’s sake,” he said. “Fine then, what did you want to talk about Louis?”

“The media and twitter, what else? What type of coffee you like?” he said mockingly. “Hey, I don’t know. You celebrities are messed up and I don’t know what to expect,” I shrugged.

He rolled his eyes at me and sat down in the seat opposite me. “Let’s talk and get this over and done with,” he muttered. “Whatever you say, Louis.”
