Susan's POV

After we went through the motions of aparation (I know all my textbooks off by heart), I realised we were in a small dusty room covered in beds, pillowcases, socks and other objects I couldn't define. "Um Dobby, where are we?" I asked in my politest tone.

"This is Dobby's dorm room, Miss Susan. Dobby shares this room with the other house elves. Come to the Great Hall, Miss Susan, Miss Charlotte. Master Dumbledore is waiting." I turned around to see Charlie, red in the face, trying to hold back her temper. As I followed Dobby through various hallways, I noticed that all the portraits we passed turned to look in our direction. I can't wait to use the spell I found for bringing photos to life. Once we got to a large door, Dobby stopped and turned round to say, "This is where Dobby must leave you. Good luck." I crouched down to Dobby's level and said, "Ok, we'll see you soon, Dobby." I looked round at Charlie for encouragement, but she just shrugged. "Thank you Miss Susan," Dobby replied before leaving. I took a deep breath, before entering.

Hermione's POV

I walked into the Great Hall for breakfast with Harry and Ron to see Dumbledore stood at his podium, ready to make an announcement. "Before I make my announcement I would like to say a few words: porcupine, bubblegum and collywobble." All the tables laughed except Slytherin. "Any way, over the last term, I've been in contact with the Headmaster of a muggle school that goes by the name of Polkem Secondary School and to bond our two schools and make them closer, two of their students are coming here for a month. Now, they will come at any minute-" The professor was cut off by the sound of the door being opened. Two girls came in; one strode confidently toward Dumbledore, while the other walked behind, meekly. Everyone started talking quickly; the Slytherins in disgust, everyone else in wonder. I turned round to Ron and Harry and said, "Well, what do you think?" Harry looked like he was about to say something, when Dumbledore finally got everyone's attention. "Now our guests will be sorted into their houses. Minerva, the hat."

Professor McGonagall frowned at being called by her first name in front of the school, but quickly composed herself and called out, "Charlie Smith." The more confident one strode up to the hat and put it on her head. "Hmm, curious. This trip will be good for you Charlotte. I can see that while you're here, you will find you future, your destiny and your true self, as will your sister. However, you will have to work harder for yours. But, where will help you the most? I'm going to say... GRYFFINDOR!" A loud cheer erupted from our table, meaning Professor McGonagall was barely audible when she called out, "Susan Smith." When the hat was placed on her head, it murmured quietly before saying, "Ravenclaw or Gryffindor? I'll let you make the decision." The girl, Susan, looked over at her sister, before the hat spoke again. "Well, if that's your decision, it'll have to be... GRYFFINDOR!" Another cheer erupted from the table, as Susan made her way down to the other end of the table. Why didn't she sit with her sister?

Once everything had calmed down and everyone had eaten breakfast, we all made our way to the door, when Dumbledore said in his loud voice, "Potter, Granger, Weasley, Weasley twins. Please make your way to my office now, please." Fred and George walked towards us, the same look of confusion that was on our face. When we all got to the Headmasters office, the two muggle girls were already there.
