Please Don't Say You Love Me

Sophie is your average 18 year old teenage girl. Nothing more, nothing less. She has had relationships and heartbreaks before. She is currently studying in college and has a stable job at her local Starbucks cafe. She moved to London from Kent with her best friend, Ellie, to attend college together. Sophie has always been quite shy and a self kept person. What happens when someone, a boy, comes into her life? What happens when that boy is Harry Styles? 2. Coffee?

Sophie's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning to the sound of music. Yes, you guessed it. It was Ellie, once again, blaring One Direction.

"ONE WAY OR ANOTHER I'M GONNA FIND YA. I'M GONNA GETCH-"

"ELLIE SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!"

"NO!"

I rolled over in my bed and glanced at the small, desk clock sitting on my bedside table. 12:18pm. Shit, I'm going to be late for work if I don't get up. I hopped out of bed, not caring to even remake it and ran to the bathroom. I didn't bother curling my hair today so instead I just brushed it and left it straight. I went along with my morning routine: Brush teeth, wash face, apply make up and get dressed.

I settled on black skinny jeans, a black t shirt, a white Hollister hoodie (which I'll take off in work and replace with an apron) and my white Converse. I quickly checked the time again once I was dressed and ready. 12:45pm. Perfect. It takes about fifteen minutes to get there anyway, with average traffic.

"I'm going to work. Bye!" I waved to Ellie as I walked out the door.

"Bye!"

So far in work today it has been a lot quieter than yesterday. That's expected though as it is a Sunday. As I was cleaning off one of the counters, a man about 30 approached the serving counter. I put the cloth down and made my way over to him.

"Hello sir." I smiled. "What can I get for you?"

"Uh, I'll have..." He quickly searched the menu. "a Cappuccino please."

"Sure thing." I took out a cup from under the counter along with a marker. "Can I get your name please?"

"Raymond." He smiled.

I wrote his name on the cup before walking away to make his drink. When I finished, I walked back to the counter and placed the drink down. The man, Raymond, picked it up before taking out his wallet.

He looked at me as if asking for the price. "That's £2.75 please."

He took the exact amount from his wallet and handed it to me. "Thank you." I smiled. "Have a nice day."

"Thank you, and you too." He smiled before walking away.

As he walked away, a familiar figure approached the counter. It was the boy, Harry, from yesterday. I wonder what he wanted? Hopefully just another Ice Blend minus the hold up. *cough* fans *cough*

He smirked as he walked towards the counter. "You again."

"Sorry to disappoint." I laughed.

"Not disappointed." He smiled looking at me. Boy, were his eyes gorgeous.

"So," I smiled. "What can I get you?"

"Mango and Passion Fruit Ice Blend please?"

"Is that a usual?" I asked.

He smiled. "It is indeed."

I grabbed a cup from underneath the counter along with the marker I had been using. I began writing his name on the cup. "So you don't need me to tell you my name today?" He smirked.

I laughed. "Don't flatter yourself." I walked over and began making his drink. He raised his eyebrows in confusion. "My friends a fan."

"Oh." He tossed his hair, fixing it. "Are you?" He asked, almost nervous.

I walked back over to the counter, placing the drink in front of him. "A fan? No." He nodded, taking the cup from the counter. "But I did get dragged to a concert before and I have to admit, your voices and your music is pretty good."

"Thank you." He smiled, showing his dimples.

I half laughed. "No problem."

"So, do you have plans today?" He asked, placing the money on the counter. The exact amount.

I put the money in the till before turning back to face him. "Excuse me?"

"For lunch break? You had plans yesterday." He took a sip of his drink. "Do you have plans today?"

"Uh, no." I replied.

"So can we sit and have coffee?" He asked. "I still haven't made it up to you for yesterday about how I acted."

I let out a chuckle. "It was no big deal. Really, it wasn't. All is forgotten."

"No, all is not forgotten. I was being rude and I want to make it up to you." He took another sip of his drink. "Besides, if you don't let me get you a coffee today, I'm just going to come back tomorrow and so on. The choice is yours."

"Looks like you might be coming here everyday for a long time." I laughed.

"Don't lie. You'd love that." He winked. "So, coffee?"

This boy was just not giving in, was he? I rolled my eyes. "Fine. I'm off in twenty minutes. Meet me back here then."

He smirked. "I knew you couldn't resist."

"Actually, I'm only saying yes because I don't want you to come back tomorrow." I winked.

"Ouch." He laughed.

"I'll see you in twenty." I chuckled before returning back to the cleaning I had been doing earlier.
