Louis' Best Friend

Me and Louis Tomlinson were the best of friends. I was so happy for him when he told me about auditioning for the X factor. But once One Direction were formed, we started growing apart, we didn't see eachother as much, and didn't speak as much. He was too busy with his whole new life.

16. Chapter 16

It's been two long weeks since we got back from London. Louis has travelled all around the country visiting the rest of the boys. Two days after we all came home, it was a Tuesday I think, all the boys met up at Harry's house in Cheshire. They were planning on starting practicing a little bit together, seeing how their voices worked together, but according to Louis, they all ended up playing football and messing around and becoming really great friends. I'm glad though because they are in a band now, they need to become great friends.

But since then they all met up at Liam's house, went to Zayn's and they even all flew over to Niall's. From everything I've heard back from Louis, they all seem to be really amazing friends already, and all their voices work really well together! I made them sing to me over FaceTime the night they stayed at Zayn's.

I'm really excited today though, because all of them are coming to Doncaster for a couple of nights. I'm forcing myself to not interfer too much, I need to give them some space and let them be them. That's going to be weird for me because I've always spent so much time with Louis and now I almost have to share him. I really don't mind though, I'm just so happy for him and all the other boys.

It has just gone 12, and I knew Louis was expecting everyone from 10 onwards. I assume they'll all be at his by now. I know Louis is gonna meet up with me at some point today, I just don't really know when. I was getting fidgety so decided to open my book - Playing Dead - that I had left on the coffee table in the middle of the lounge and reclined back on our leather sofa.

I read one and a bit chapters when I heard voices outside. I tried my best to ignore it but they weren't fading away. That's when I heard the Irish accent. I knew that voice. It's Niall. I pulled my legs underneath me to kneel on the sofa and reached over to the window peeling back the sheer curtain. I got the shock of my life when I revealed Zayn leaning over, centre-meters away from the window peering in right where I'd pulled away the curtain. The scare caused me to fall backwards onto the sofa. It took me a few seconds to recollect what just happened and once it all added up I jumped up and pulled on my converse. Zayns shadow was still visible through the opaque material and I laughed to myself as I left the room to open the front door.

"Zayn!" I yelled walking out of the porch. "You scared me so bad!"

"HA! He laughed. "Sorry babe! I didn't mean to." He told me and wrapped his arms around my back as I wrapped mine around his waist.

We both let go and he followed me as I walked across my front garden to where they were standing on the other side of the fence.

"What are you guys doing here!?" I questioned, a smile on my face as I approached them.

"Came to see you!" Niall beamed.

"Well obviously!" I joked stepping closer to hug him.

"Hey we missed you too!" Harry told me as I took a step back from Niall and wrapped my arms around him instead.

"And what makes you think I even missed you?" I responded winking at him as I pulled back leaving my hands on his shoulders.

"Love, of course you missed us." He said winking and squeezing his hand slightly around my waist.

"Hmm," I started, "maybe I did miss you a bit." I laughed and pulled back.

"Hey Liam!" I chirped as I dived in for a hug.

"Hey! How've you been?" He asked with his arms still around me.

"Great thanks," I told him as I pulled away and stepped back, "definitely been missing my Lou though!" I added as I turned to wink at Louis.

"Hi!" He greeted me and reached out with one arm to wrap it around my shoulders.

"Hello stranger!" I replied wrapping my arm around his waist.

"So you gonna spend the day with us?" Zayn questioned me in his - what I think is - very attractive Bradford accent.

"Of course! I'd love to!" I beamed.

"Great!" Zayn beamed back.

"Come on then! What is there to do around here?" Harry prompted.

"Not a lot if I'm honest." I told them all, Louis laughing lightly next to me.

"Oh" Harry replied, slightly disappointed.

"I don't know, it's a nice day, we could just go sit in the park, get some food from Morrisons?" I suggested.

"Yeah let's do that!" Niall said rubbing his hands together. "Lets get food first!" He stated with a smile on his face.

"Yeah, Niall has a small love for food." Louis informed me whilst everyone else laughed at his point.

"Ohh" I mouthed.

"Come on then, lead the way you two!" Liam said using his hand to guide us in the right direction.

"Erm, Liam it's this way." Louis laughed pointing in the opposite direction.

"Oh, yeah, right." He responded, repeating his actions in the opposite direction.

We all set off walking down the street, Louis, me and Liam walking in front with Niall, Harry and Zayn following behind us.
