46. Fight

Then I broke down. My head was spinning, and the pain got unbearable, as my heart felt like it'd been ripped out my chest, and acid had filled the hole it'd created. Louis wasn't speaking either, and as the London Eye span down to ground-level, I just wished it would stay up in the air, away from everyone and everything. When we finally hit the ground, the clerk had to go in there to fetch the both of us. I walked silently towards the car, tears streaming down my face, Louis following behind me, silently. I stepped into the car, and sat down, as Louis went to the other side, sitting down. We didn't even look at each other, and I could still feel the embarrassment, the pain, and sadness in the air. The car took off, and a few fangirls in the queue of the London eye, had discovered Louis, making them scream, and jump towards the car. I looked out the dimmed windows, into the crowd of people, now chanting for Louis, making me cover my eyes, to cover the pain,  unmistakingly shining into the car.

"Where to?" the driver asked. Louis looked up, and I could see his eyes glistening in the light.

"Where we came from." he said, like he'd given up on everything. I could hear the pain in his voice. It was obvious he didn't want to go back there.

"What am I going to say?" I whispered, not daring to speak loud enough for my voice to crack. Louis looked at me, and thought for a moment.

"I don't know…" he answered, looking away again. The sky started to darken up, and raindrops slowly started to run down the dark windows. We drove through the London-streets, not saying a word to each other, and the only noise filling the empty space, were small sniffles from me, and Louis' escalated breathing. Finally the car stopped, and Lou quickly got out, trying to avoid any screaming fangirls. I just sat there, looking out into thin nothing. What was I going to say to Harry? What was he going to say to me? How was he going to react? What about Louis? Was he going to move out now? I didn't know. And the only way I'd ever know, was if I went up there, and took the consequences.

I stepped out the car, and closed the door after me, looking up at the windows of my flat, for any sign of life. Then I walked inside the lobby, and saw Lou waiting for me at the elevator. He was leaning on the wall, his eyes closed. I walked to him, and then straight past him, up the stairs as quickly as I could, not wanting to spend another minute with him before Harry and I'd talked the whole thing through. I ran up the stairs, stopping a floor before mine to think, even though that was impossible because my mind was so blurred, I almost didn't know how to breathe. Then I heard a door open, and a yell, coming from right above me.

"HOW COULD YOU?!" Harry's voice was raspy, and I felt the hate so clearly, I almost weaseled out and ran back to the lobby again. Then I heard another yell, as the door slammed, and the hall went silent.

And then I ran. I ran up the stairs as quickly as my small body could carry my, and burst into the flat, almost breaking the door while I was at it. All the boys turned to look at me, even Harry and Louis.

"AND YOU!" Harry said, storming towards me, his index finger raised at me. His eyes were angry, and I felt the threat all the way down in my belly.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME? WHAT WERE YOU THIKNING? OH, HARRY'S NOT HERE, I'LL JUST GO SHAG HIS BEST FRIEND IN A PUBLIC PLACE?!" he yelled, as Liam took his arm, preparing for Harry to lounge at me in anger.

"Harry, chill." He said, looking at Harry with his puppy-eyes.

"NO I WILL NOT CHILL! LIAM, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF DANIELLE JUST WENT STRAIGHT AFTER ZAYN, TOLD YOU THEY'D JUST BE GOING TO THE LONDON EYE?!" He yelled straight at Liam's face. You could see Liams eyes change, as his recent break up with Danielle still hurt. He stepped back, and put his arms up.

"You know what, fine." He said, turning around, and walking towards the door.

"Liam, please." Lou said, finally saying something. Liam turned around, looking at the boys, shaking his head, the tears appearing in the crook of his eyes. Then he left. Niall stepped up, taking Liams place, and I could sense that Zayn didn't really know what to do.

"That's right, go after him! He really needs some more comfort right now, I can totally feel that!" Harry said sarcastically, his hatred suddenly becoming mutual for everyone. Zayn shot him a dirty look, as he looked from me to Harry, to Lou, to Niall. Then he left running after Liam. Niall looked at Harry with disappointment, as he grasped his arm, even harder than before. Louis was standing down behind them, trying to make himself as small as possible. Harry looked at me, his eyes shining with disappointment.

"I loved you, and you went after my best friend." He said, suddenly becoming more calm than before. I straightened my back, and wiped the tears away from my cheeks, trying to speak to him, make him understand.

"I'm so sorry…" I whispered, touching his arms, and he instinctively moved away, stepping back, causing Niall to move too.

"It's over." He said, as he squinted his eyes together, trying to get rid of the tears appearing in them. Then he turned to Lou.

"That goes for you too." he said, and looked down. Then he walked to the door, and closed it after him, leaving Lou, Niall and me together, Niall in total awe, Lou in sorrow, and me in the black hole I'd been sucked into when my parents died. Feeling alone. Feeling neglected. Feeling empty.
