Hunger Games Poems

Some Hunger Games poetry I wrote.

2. Mockingbirds

I remember long ago,

When the stars could shine,

I remember when the sky,

Was green and bluer,

Than the sea.

Where the mockingbirds lived.

The world of a mockingbird

Is full of bright and shiny things,

Like a magpie takes.

The skies were of green and blue

Before the mockingbirds fell in love.

The jabberjays changed all the goodness,

And the two groups fell in love.

Now the mockingjays fly in the sky

and America is no more.
