3. Who are you?!?!?!?!?

They heard a thud, a scream, and then there was silence. Who or what could be doing this to them? They wandered into the dark together, and finally found a light switch in the old bathroom. "Flip on a switch," Nate called. "I fell on something and I'm not sure if I'm hurt." "Okay, just wait let me find the switch again," Lauren answered. "Aha," she said victoriously as she flipped the light switch to 'on'. She ran into the room where she found Nate on the ground bleeding from a fall. He was breathing heavy, and I could hear him groaning in pain. "What is... going...." She trailed off as she turned the corner around the pews in the majestic chapel, though this was a Quaker church, or it seemed like it.

Nate sat on the floor, obviously in pain and shock. There on he floor in front of him, was a corpse, or more like a skeleton. Lauren let out a bloodcurdling scream, and ran out to the fellowship hall. Nate was left in the chapel room alone, and they had promised to stick together!

After Lauren calmed down, she hurried into the chapel room to get Nate. She had brought her purse, a first aid kit and a book, along with $100 to buy some food. She also brought credit cards, in case her money ran out. She grabbed the first-aid kit and started to inspect the injury. Now she found out what had happened! Nate had walked into the chapel in the dark, stumbling on the skeleton of a young man. The John Doe had been stabbed through, and when Nate fell he cut his thigh on the knife.

She started getting Nate's leg in a tourniquet when he asked,"Who are you?" "You know who I am," Lauren answered, thinking that he was kidding. "No, I don't. Tell me who you are!" Nate was in shock, and he had hit his head on the pews. "I'm your fiancé Lauren. Don't you remember?" Lauren was afraid, as he was her fiancé, friend, and soon-to-be family. "Who are you!?!?" Nate asked again. Oh no, Lauren thought. This was bad.
