4. Mary's coming to get you....

That evening, Lauren and Nate ate in the fellowship hall, and Nate was beginning to regain his memory. "So, we were running from the cops, right? And, we changed our looks? We decided to hide in here, but we are engaged, right?" At least he was asking simple questions, Lauren thought. "Yes, yes, and right. Now do you remember?" Lauren  hoped and prayed. If he didn't regain his memory, if he didn't remember his name, what would happen to him? Would she have to take care of him?

Lauren decided to go ahead and wash the dishes when they were done eating, so she brought Nate into the kitchen so he could tell her what he remembered, when he remembered. Lauren turned on the hot water when she noticed something written on the wall out of the corner of her eye. Nate went to the fellowship hall to grab a chair, so he didn't see it. The words said:

You're in MY house.

Mary is coming after you.

I AM MARY..... BLOODY MARY!!!

The words were written in blood, and there was a little girl standing next to the words. Lauren hadn't seen her there before, and when the little girl turned, she had blood coming out of her mouth, neck, and eyes. Lauren screamed when she saw that the water had turned blood red, and she ran out crying. "What's wrong, babe?" Nate kept trying to move towards the kitchen, oblivious to what had just happened. "Nate, babe, don't go in there. I don't want you to think that your crazy," Lauren said, tears running down her face. She was afraid that he would be traumatized, or even think that she was psychotic and break off the engagement. "Don't worry, I can handle it," he said, but it didn't reassure Lauren. She was scared for him, and she could only imagine what he would see when he walked in the kitchen.

Net walked into the kitchen and came walking out two minutes after he walked in. He was scared out of his mind, as far as Lauren could tell. His eyes were wide with shock, his face pale, his shirt ripped. "What happened in there?" Lauren was afraid to know but had to make sure he was okay.
