Beautiful Tragedy.

What seemed like a normal walk for Harry Styles, turned out to be so much more....

"I just stood there, watching. I almost couldn’t even breathe properly. No-one else but me even noticed her. There were at least one-hundred people walking past her, but no-one took their time to even give her a single look. I would describe it as a beautiful tragedy. "

“You sure you don’t wanna stay, mate? Just till tomorrow.”

“Yeah, I’m sure. But thanks.”

“Let me drive you home then, it’s the least I can do.”

“Ed, seriously, it’s fine. I’ll walk home. I need some fresh air anyways.”

“Alright, lad. But call me tomorrow.”

“Will do, thanks again.” I hugged my ginger haired friend, before turning around and walking down the stairs. I’ve lived with Ed for about three weeks now, but I can tell he’s gotten a bit sick of me already, so I guess now is the time to return to my flat. But just for a couple of days; then I’ll probably go seek someone else and live with them for a while. It’s not that I don’t know how to live for myself; it just gets lonely after a couple of days.

I walked out of the building and took a mental picture of the sight in front of me. Even though it was practically midnight, the London traffic couldn’t be worse. A sigh escaped from my lips.

While pushing my curls to the side with one hand, the other went fishing in my pocket for my iPod. I plugged my earphones in, blocking out the sound of impatient drivers as I let the music take over me. If you ask me, it’s one of the best feelings in the World.

I decided to take the long way, crossing the famous London Bridge. And for some reason, I couldn’t stop smiling. I just had this feeling rushing through my body, telling me that tonight was one of those good night – even though this was just a simple walk back to my flat.

About thirty minutes later, I was half way through London Bridge. My legs leading me, I didn’t even have to think about walking the wrong direction due to daydreaming. Or rather, nightdreaming? I suddenly found myself giggling – nice one, Harry. You just made yourself laugh…

Out of nowhere, my legs suddenly froze. And not just my legs, my entire body. I couldn’t move, couldn’t even think straight. A gorgeous mid-height brunette bird was climbing over the rail, not so far from where I was standing. It looks like she just wants to sit on the ledge, because she wants to enjoy the view. An innocent action, who doesn’t want to enjoy this gorgeous view? But if you look closely, the tears falling from her eyes would immediately capture your attention. She was going to jump.

I just stood there, watching. I almost couldn’t even breathe properly. No-one else but me even noticed her. There were at least one-hundred people walking past her, but no-one took their time to even give her a single look. I would describe it as a beautiful tragedy.

She slowly tried to stand up, not holding on to anything but her balance. My eyes grew big; I couldn’t control my movements. I pushed through the people walking in front of me to get to her, never have my legs moved this fast before.

But it was too late. Only two seconds before I got to her, she jumped. I tried to reach out for her, but my arms weren’t long enough. Tears were threatening to fall and I let them. I screamed out for her and it wasn’t until now, people began to notice anything out of the ordinary.

We made eye contact before she hit the bottom.
