Jade's POV

A few months past. It was mine and Harry's wedding today. Man I was so nervous. Marrying the man I love. I am just scared my dad is going to ruin the day some how. I know it. I can feel it. Eleanor, Danielle, Perrie, Leigh-Ann, Jesy, Harmony and I were getting ready. Eleanor was my maid of honor. Since I don't have a sister or a mother. Well I do but you know. "Danielle can you do my dress please?" I asked. Danielle nodded and walked up to me. She did the back of my dress up. "Thank you" I said. Danielle smiled and walked out.

I took a massive breath. Keith is walking me down the aisle. Harmony walked in and did my make up and hair. She put the vale on me. I smiled, "Thank you." Harmony smiled. Danielle and Eleanor were my other friends. They didn't move. They wanted to but couldn't. Eleanor is dating Louis. Danielle was dating Liam. But they broke up. They are good friends though. Zayn and Perrie are dating. Butterflies appeared in my stomach. Please go away. Dear butterflies.

Harry's POV

I was in my bedroom with the boys getting ready. I took a massive breath. Father looked at me. "You look handsome son" Father said. I smiled. "Thank you father" I said. Father smiled and walked up. "I am proud of you my son. You have met the girl of your dreams and today you are marrying her. Reminds me of mine and your mothers wedding" Father said. I loved hearing Father's stories about mum. After she passed away. We would always share the best moments and the worst together.

Louis is my best man. The others are going to be up there with me. But Louis is going to be beside me. We may have fights but every friend has fights. "Time to go" Uncle Paul said. Uncle Paul owns a limo business so he is taking us down for free. Another worker for Uncle Paul is taking Jade and the others down. We nodded and headed out. Once in the limo. Uncle Paul drove off.

Jade's POV

We were on our way to the wedding. My hands were shaking. "Jade it's going to be okay" Harmony said grabbing my hand. I nodded and took a massive breath. Once we got to the garden. Eleanor put the vale over my head. I smiled. The boys but Louis met us at the limo. Keith grabbed my hand and helped me out. "You look beautiful my dear" Keith said. I smiled. We had a little of my side and there was a lot on Harry's. It went Liam and Danielle. Niall and Harmony. Perrie and Zayn. Jesy and Leigh-Ann. Eleanor. Than Keith and I. Harry was smiling at me. It made me more nervous.

Once I got to Harry. Keith hugged me and stepped back. Harry grabbed my hands. Than everyone seated. "We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Harry Edward Styles and Jade Amelia Winters. If anyone does not want these two to be married, speak now or forever hold your peace" The priest said. It was silent. All we could hear was the birds chirping. The priest started to talk. Harry's thumb rubbed against my knuckles. I smiled.

"Harry please say your vows" The priest said. Harry took a massive breath. "Jade, I am proud to take you as my wife for all the time we have been together. There has always been the kind of love and understanding which is only shared when there is true love. You have helped me triumph over challenges presented.  Encouraged my personal growth and boosted my self esteem. You have helped me become the person I am today And with your help I will be a better person tomorrow than I was yesterday. I love the way you love and care for me. I love the way you trust and believe in me. I love the way you always look your best for me. I love you and I love my life with you. Today as we begin our lives as husband and wife I commit myself to you" Harry said placing the ring on my finger. People clapped. The priest looked at me. "Jade please say your vows" The priest said.

I nodded. "Harry, you are my best friend and my one true love. When I´m with you, I feel I can be the person I want to be, and I cannot imagine my life without you. You make me smile, you stick up for me, you take care of me and you are always interested in what I have to say and do. Today, I want to make a promise to you and to myself, in front of our friends and family, to love and honor, protect and respect you for the rest of my life. I vow to trust and value your opinions, and stand by your actions. I pledge to always treat you as my best friend, and equal. I will ask for help when I need it, and offer help when necessary. Let us be friends and lovers, and grow old together. And let us make all the years of our lives together be the best years of our lives. For now and forever" I said placing the ring on his finger.

Harry smiled. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Harry you may kiss the bride" The priest said. Harry put the vale over my head. Harry crashed his lips onto mine. I smiled. We pulled back. Everyone cheered and clapped. "I love you" Harry said. "Love you too" I said. We walked down the aisle, rice was thrown down on us. Once at the end of the aisle. Everyone stood around each other. I chucked my bouquet of flowers. Everyone screamed. We turned and laughed. My family stepped out since they were already married.

Everyone stood up. Eleanor and Danielle had the flowers. Harry and I laughed.

****

We are now on our way to the reception. Harry and I were getting changed in the limousine. Once we got there. Harry and I stepped out. I was now in a short dress. Harry was in another suit. "You know babe. You look beautiful. At the wedding and now" Harry said. "You look handsome" I said. Harry smiled and pecked my cheek. The doors opened. Harry and I walked in. Everyone again was clapping. We made our way to the bride and groom table and sat down.

Food started to be served and a band was playing. Harry was holding my hand. He kissed my hand a few times. "Your shaking love" Harry said. "Still nervous I guess" I said. Harry nodded. Entree was pasta. Main is Chicken, Steak or ceaser Salad. Desert is Cake of course, fruit, chocolate, nuts and lollies. Everyone was eating the pasta. After they finished. There was a break. People were talking to others. Harry and I were talking to his father.

I don't want anyone to ruin this day. Not today. "Jade you okay?" Keith asked. I nodded. "Yeah" I said. Keith nodded. Main started to be served. Harry ordered rare steak. I got a ceaser salad. I just didn't have the egg. Why? Because I can't eat egg. Once the mains were finished. Desert came 20 minutes later. "Come on" Harry said grabbing my waist and pulling me up. Harry grabbed the knife. My hand went on top of his. Harry had his other hand on my waist.

We cut the cake. Cameras and phones went crazy with taking pictures. A chef came and took the cake away. He came back with some cooks who put what we said out on different tables. Harry had his arms around me. Best day of my life so far. Oh I forgot to tell you. The Bondi boys are here. We are going back to Sydney for our honeymoon. Harry wanted to. I have to admit. I did to. Once everyone finished desert. Louis walked up to microphone. "Now give it up for Jade and Harry" Louis said.

Harry and I stood up and walked onto the dance floor. We did the waltz. At the end Harry dipped me. I chuckled. Harry brought me back up and pressed his lips onto mine. I smiled. We pulled back 5 minutes later. Some people walked onto the dance floor. Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Ann and I did a dance we made up in school. Before the night ended we had speeches. So yes we were seated again.

Keith walked up to the microphone. "Hello.  My name is Keith.  I’m Harry's dad.  I want to start by saying thank you to all the friends and family of Jade and Harry who are here, especially those who came great distances to be with us today.  I remember the day Harry was born. It was a day I will always remember as one of the proudest days of my life.  That was my boy being born.

There was a day when Harry told me he was just picked as the captain of the football team in one of his many high schools.  He had a mature feeling about him that I’d seen, but it never hit me like that before.  I remember thinking “Harry is becoming a man.”

And now, I am the very proud father of that man, who has started his own family and begun the adventure of his life with his lovely bride Jade.

Jade, it sure has been my pleasure to get to know you over the past year.  I know Harry feels extremely lucky that he met you. Our family is overjoyed to welcome you in, and we hope to spend many more days like this one having fun and sharing time together…without the tuxes and dresses of course.

And of course, you never take the advice your parents give you that seriously, because it doesn't mean anything.  Of course, 10 years from now, you’ll say “oh…that’s what he was talking about back then.”  So, Harry, I’m going to skip offering that advice on this particular occasion, and instead ask a request.

Jade and Harry, my only request is that you keep loving each other. On a fabulous day like this, when everything seems to culminate in a perfect situation and there are so many feelings of joy and happiness, it’s hard to see how that could ever be any other way.  But as I said, life is different each day.  There will be challenges that will strain your love slightly.  Sometimes things will distract you from focusing on each other like you do now.

Let’s all raise our glasses and offer a toast.  Jade and Harry, here’s to your lives together.  May they always be full of love and happiness!" Kieth said.

I couldn't help but smile. If it wasn't for Keith. I wouldn't be here right now.

I walked up to the microphone and said, "You may well be wondering what the Bride is doing making a speech. Well, those of you who know me well, know that I always have talked too much and usually find a way to get my two penneth worth in so it probably is no surprise! I also wanted to say thank you to those deserving in my own words.

When I met Harry, I was totally off men and relationships, so it is a more than a little surprising to find myself standing here in this clobber just under a year later!

I also want to thank the bridesmaids. My amazing friends. Eleanor your dress design is totally amazing.

Whilst I am on thanking there are a few more that I would like to do and I promise to be brief!

Firstly thanks to all of you for coming and thank you for the wonderful gifts – we’ll look forward to opening them when we get back from honeymoon. I know that most of you took time off work and traveled a long way to be here and I want to say how much it means to us to share our day with the family and friends that love us.

Secondly I want to thank Louis– the best best man – he has done a fantastic job, although depending on the contents of his speech, I may retract this!!!! Seriously he has been an amazing support to Howard and has done us both proud in his role. Thanks Louis for making our day that little bit more special and for not shaving Harry hair off on the stag night.

I'd like to thank Harry's dad Keith for being there for me. From the first day I came to Harry's house. He knew I was something special. He has been a father to me. More than my other one has. So Keith thank you for much for being there for me. Along with my new husband Harry. If it wasn't for you Keith I would not be standing up here today and thanking you for letting me marry your son.

I’d just like to say a few words about three of the most excellent girls one could ever hope to meet. I want to thank Eleanor and Danielle for helping me set up for this special day.

So now I turn to my new Husband! Last but certainly not least. I want to thank you Harry for a wonderful day – thank you for all your hard work in realizing our dreams – today has been so perfect.

I have never been able to find the right words to express just how I feel about this man who has become my husband today – so I’m going to recite this poem in the hope that it might go someway to let him know just what he means to me.

I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I’m with you
I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you have made of me
I love you for the part of me that you bring out.

I love you for putting your hand into my heaped up heart
And passing over all the foolish weak things that are held dimly there
And for drawing out into the light all the beautiful belongings
That no-one else had looked quite far enough to find.

I love you because you have helped me to make my life a beautiful life worth living

I love you because you have done more than anything could have done to make me good
And more than any fate could have done to make me happy.

You have done this by being yourself and loving me.

You know, my Nan always told me to marry a rich man – I couldn’t have married a richer man than Harry. He is rich in inner strength, understanding and kindness, in forgiveness and patience. He is my everything and I am very proud to be Mrs Styles. I‘d like to propose a toast to us – the best is yet to come."

Harry walked up to the microphone. "Distinguished guests, guests of no particular distinction, relatives young and old, friends, freeloaders, hangers on, gypsies, tramps, thieves and anyone else who may have wandered in, you are all about to witness a unique event in history.  The very first and very last time that my wife is going to let me speak on behalf of both of us.  However, it is a privilege and an honour to do so.  I just hope that, so soon into our married life, I don’t let Jade down .

My speech today will be like a mini-skirt.  Long enough to cover the essentials but short enough to hold your attention!  To be honest I didn't really know where to start so I thought I’d trawl the internet. After a couple of hours I‘d found some really, really good stuff.  But then I remembered that I was supposed to be writing a speech.  Before I start, there will be plenty of toasts over the next few minutes so please make sure that your glasses are charged.

Firstly, we’d like to thank  My father for his kind words and good wishes.

It’s lovely to see so many of our family and friends here today to help us celebrate the happiest day of our lives. I know that some of you have traveled a long way to be here and that means a lot to us.  It really wouldn’t be the same without you all.  It’d be a darned sight cheaper, but that’s not the point.  Thank you all for your very generous gifts, and a special thanks to those of you who have given cheques.  No, we really are grateful for those, especially as we’ll be using the details on the cheques to set up direct debits paying our bills for years to come. Who said that identity fraud is a bad idea?

Unfortunately, it’s not been possible to have everyone we love here with us today, but we know they’re here with us in spirit and they’re not only in our thoughts today, but more importantly they’re with us in our hearts. So, with them in mind, would you please all stand, raise your glasses, and  join me in a toast to absent family & friends.

Keith: My Dad has helped me enormously over the years and has seen me through thick and thin.  Mainly thick, if I’m being honest but he’s been there for me and I hope that I have done him proud.  I really couldn’t have asked for a better father and I thank you for everything that you have done, not just for me but for me and my wife. Thank you.

There is an unwritten rule of wedding etiquette that states that nobody should look more handsome than the groom and I’d like to thank our ushers Steve and Peter for sticking to that rule to the letter.  They have both lent an air of ‘nightclub bouncer respectability’ to their roles  and I particularly admired the way they searched the ladies’ handbags and frisked the men as they came in with such discretion and subtlety.  I’m not quite sure that saying “You’ll sit where you’re ruddy well put” was really in the spirit of the day, but we’ll let that pass.  Thanks to both of you.

I have known Louis, my Best Man, for nearly sixteen years now and throughout that time he has been there for me when it matters and is always ready with an encouraging word, and a welcome bottle of Whiskey when things are going badly.  And, if I’m being honest, when things are going well. I’d like to thank him for all his help in organizing the stag do, and for creating the table plan for us.  But, most importantly I’d like to thank him for being a true friend.  However, there is something that I need to make you aware of. Rich suffers from a strange condition that occasionally causes him to drift in and out of weird, strange flights of fantasy.  He has been known to make up fanciful stories, absolutely believing them to be true.  Anyway, it’s only right that I advise you all of this ahead of his speech.  As I say, he is a true friend  and I wouldn’t want you to go upsetting him, so if you could bear with him, even join with him on his journey of make believe, I would appreciate it.

We’d like to thank them very much for being such wonderful bridesmaids.  So, please stand and join me in a toast to the bridesmaids.

Finally, I would like to thank my wife – I think I’m going to enjoy getting used to saying that – for agreeing to marry me and for making me the happiest man in the world.  I think you’ll agree that she looks absolutely gorgeous today and when she walked up the aisle, she took my breath away.

They say you don't marry someone you can live with - you marry the person who you can’t live without and I think  that sums us up perfectly.  Now if I had to single out one thing about why I love Jade so much, it would be the fact that she makes me happier than I ever dreamed I could be.  And I intend to spend the rest of my life making sure that the reverse is also true.  I know that Jade has put a huge amount of effort into making today perfect and I think that she has done that, and more.   Having lived with Harry for a year now, I have learned a valuable lesson – when I’m wrong, admit it.  When I’m right, keep quiet!  Seriously though, I never have a problem finding the words to express my love for Jade, but if I start then I probably won’t be able to stop.  Suffice to say that, Jade, I love you so much and I can’t wait to grow old with you.  Ladies and gentlemen, please stand and raise your glasses to my wife, Jade.

Now, I’m not going to stand here all afternoon and bore you all with a load of stale old jokes.  That’s the Best Man’s job!  So, without further ado, I’d like to hand over to Louis" Harry said.

Thank Louis walked up to the microphone. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the bridesmaids, I would like to thank Harry for his kind words. For once in my life, I find myself agreeing with him - they look stunning, and only rightly outshone by our bride, Jade. And, I'm sure you'll agree with me gentlemen, today is a sad day for single men, as another beauty leaves the available list. And ladies, I'm sure you'll agree that today's passing by without much of a ripple.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Louis. I've been Harry's best friend for nearly 16 years. I've known him for a similar period.

And all the time we've spent growing up together means that he’s had as much of a part in developing my sense of humor as anyone. So, whilst I have tried to make this speech funny, it’s his fault if it’s not.

I have very fond memories of growing up with Harry. I've been his partner in crime on many a wild occasion and, in quieter times, a close confidant to whom he could tell almost anything. And I do mean anything – which has provided me with ample material for my speech this afternoon.

Harry and I have done many things together during our almost life-long friendship. Over the years we've built go-carts together, rode our bikes together, played football together, bunked school together, tried to chat up girls together – note the word “tried” there – fixed up cars together, occasionally got drunk together and now we are sharing a top table together.

And like all friends, we've certainly had our ups as well as our downs. I remember back to times when a petty argument would arise from nowhere. Then Harry would call me smelly, and I’d call him ‘big ears’. And then it would spiral out of all proportion and we’d each end up running home in tears. But sure enough, the next day, Harry would drop me an email from work and we’d make up. As good mates do, however old.

But it was particularly in our teenage years that these little spats became quite frequent, and would often arise over a young lady. They’d generally be of the ‘I saw her first’, ‘no, I did’ variety. I’d like to say we worked these disputes out equitably, but Harry was the smooth-talking, early-developer of the two of us and he genuinely believed he could have any girl he pleased. Unfortunately for him, though, he never managed to please any.

Until, that is, he met his lovely bride. Since then I've never known him to be happier. And, considering he’s now spending less time down the pub and less time on the golf course, it’s certainly a testament to the way he feels about Jade.

Now, as Harry's chief golf partner and drinking buddy, it’s not that great for me. But I’m man enough to stand here today and tell you that I don’t resent it. And how could I when I see how very happy they are together.

And I, as much as all of you, want that happiness for myself. Err, sorry, I mean, I want their happiness to last forever. And I do.

So although I’m not actually married myself [turn to bridesmaids], I thought it might be helpful if I offered them each a little piece of advice.

Jade: You can either tell Harry to do something or tell him how to do something. But please, not both.

And Harry: getting married bestows upon you many, many obligations. But remember, foreplay is only optional.

Ladies and gentlemen, on a final and serious note, please be upstanding and raise your glasses to my very best friend and his beautiful new wife. To Harry and Jade" Louis said.

Eleanor stood up and walked up to the microphone. "Finally! Remember the times we sat through another friend’s wedding, filled with the hope that someday, it would be one of us up there. Gone are the lonely nights we talked until the early hours, crying over the fear that it might never be one of us up there.

Say goodbye to bad blind dates and relentless pestering by that co-worker who was always trying to fix you up with the wrong guy. Say goodbye to scanning all those sad profiles on the Internet dating sites, looking for someone to peak your interest.

How happy are you that you will never again have to fight with the other single girls to catch the bouquet? Can you believe you actually get to be the one tossing the bouquet this time?

Well, I sure can. I always could. I knew during those awkward introductions at happy hour, when one of our friends invited a single guy and didn't tell you. I knew when you were secretly picking out your own wedding gown on all those shopping trips for the other girls who were engaged. I confess I got a little worried when you started dating Mr. Wrong. What was his name? The guy we called “please don’t let her marry him.” I knew there were better things in store for you. And, thankfully, you did too.

And then there was Harry. The guy we called “the dude we like.” I remember when you first told me he could be “the one.” I could just picture it. Harry down on one knee, asking you to make him the happiest man in the world, offering you that beautiful diamond ring, you in that gorgeous gown, me making this speech.

It may have been many years in the making, but Harry was certainly worth waiting for. It is so great to finally see you so happy!" Eleanor said.

Once the reception finished. We all headed off home. Harry and I went to bed as soon as we got home. Leaving early tomorrow morning.
