I walked into my flat with my heels in hand. After crying my eyes out in the alley, I ran the rest of the way home. I didn't even bother calling a cab, I needed that time to think.

I raced up to my bedroom and plopped down on my bed. My brother was on vacation with his girlfriend for the next week, so I wasn't going to get interrigated on where I was all day and night.

I quickly got changed into my pajamas, brushed my teath and slipped under my bed covers for bed. Even though I had just woken up from sleeping, I was severly tired from running and just plain tired from life.

Just as I was falling asleep, my phone vibrates under my pillow. A text from an unknown number popped up.

You can't stay away forever.
H xx

I was shocked. He thinks I won't be able to stay away from him forever? Watch me.

***A Week Later***

I walked into Starbucks and grabbed my usual coffee before school. As always, Josh had it already done for me so I could just pay and leave without having to wait. Except today, Josh looked really nervous. He stood at the drink counter as I walked up to him.

"Hey Josh! Thanks for having it ready."

I said motioning to my drink as I payed him. I turned to walk away before he caught my wrist.

"Wait, Rosie. I was um... Wondering if  you would... like to go on a date with me tonight? You don't have to say 'Yes' if you don't want to..."

Josh asked as he let go of my wrist and began scratching the back of his neck. I smiled. He was so adorable why would he think I wouldn't want to go on a date with him?

"Of course. I would love to."

I said smiling even bigger, if it was possible.

"Really? I mean, I'll pick you up at 7:30."

Josh smiled back at me. I gave him a quick hug after giving him my address and rushed off to school. This was one of the first times in a while that I have been actually happy.

I walked out of 3rd period to my locker. I met Eleanor there as usual and walked to lunch with her. We took our spot at our usual table with our friends. Lately, I've been making new friends. I met some of my new best friends through Eleanor actually. I absolutly adore Eleanor and my new friend Cher. They are so supportive of everything I do and always know how to make me feel better. I sat down across from Eleanor and Cher. I nibbled on my pizza as they both told hilarious jokes and stories about their day. We were all laughing when I saw their faces go pale and stare up above my head.

"Hello, Love"

A voice said from behind me. I knew that husky voice. Harry. I kept staring straight ahead. I was not about to give in and look Harry in the eyes. He wasn't going to win, not this time. I'm not as weak as everyone else he seems to harrass.

The seat next to me pulled out and Harry sat down. He leaned back in his chair and put his arm loosly around my shoulders.

"Harry, what are you doing here?"

I asked him. Quickly getting annoyed by his presence.

"Eating lunch with you, of course."

He replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Thats not what I meant. What are you doing at lunch? You have lunch at lunch 2, this is lunch 3. You have already eaten."

I stated a-matter-of-factly. I grabbed his arm and pushed it off my shoulders. He doesn't own me.

"I don't really like my 4th period. The work takes too much effort."

He shrugged and his arm took its pervious position back slung around my shoulders. I sighed. Lunch is almost over who cares if I leave 10 minutes early.

I stood up and threw away my trash. I walked back to my seat.

"I knew you couldn't stay away from me for too long."

Harry said smirking. I scoffed.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that."

I replied as I grabbed my stuff and went to walk away.

"See you guys next period."

I waved to Eleanor and Cher. They both looked back with surprise that I stood up to one of the most dangerous boys in all school. I took one last glance at Harry's astonished face that I walked away from him. I was done with being another one of the girls that Harry expects to fall down at his feet.

The bell just rang dismissing everyone. I was so relived that school was finally over.

I stopped at the library to check out a book for a project that was due in a week for history. I turned down a asle in the library and ran into someone.

"I'm so so so sorry!"

I said before I looked up into his beautiful, brown eyes.

"No. It's okay, Love. It was my fault too."

He replied as he flashed me a grin.

"Zayn, Malik."

He held out a hand for me to shake. I gadly accepted it.

I replied smiling back at him. He was absolutly gorgeous. Beautiful tanned skin, and his black hair was styled in a quiff.

"I know who you are."

Zayn smirked back at me.

"Wow. You must'nt get new students often, huh?"

I asked him. By the things I've heard. This school doesn't get new students often.

"No, it's just when you're interested in people, you ask around about them."

He replied smirking.

"Oh, so you're interested in me?"

I asked jokinly. Zayn seemed like a real laid back guy, so why not joke around with him?

His face got searious and he narrowed his eyes.

"Well someone's cocky isn't she?"

"Well, no, I was just joking around with you. I didn't mean to come off that way, I'm really sorr-"

I said flustered. I already am having a bad first impression.

"I'm just kidding around with you. But no, I'm not interested in you to answer that question. I've heard of you from Harry, he quite likes you."

"Oh, well, uh-"

I started, before I got interrupted by him, again.

"I've got to go."

He grumbled before pushing past me and walking away. Woah, what was up with him?

I touched up my make-up before descending the stairs in my pink flats and pink floral dress. It was formal but not too dressy, perfect for a first date.

Just as planned,  Josh arrived at my doorstep at 7:30. I answered the door to be greeted by him in jeans and a casual top to match.

"You look lovely tonight, Rosie."

He said while eying me up and down.

"You don't look so bad yourself."

I replied back at him before locking my flat's door.
