Love Over Life

Krissy's life is hard enough having to move multiple times a year, transferring schools, and putting up with a strict dad who expects her to be perfect, but someone along the way makes a mark. Having to move with her overly protective dad for his job gets rough and meeting a perfect boy was never her plan. He was in the same position as her, and she knew from the moment she laid eyes on him that he was special. Not to mention he was the quarterback of the football team and the highest scoring student in the grade, along with her. But can jealousy ruin their relation and jeopardize their lives?

2. Train To Cheshire

*Krissy's POV*

We boarded the train with our luggage in hand. On the train I sat still, not moving, not talking, nothing. I didn't want to start a conversation right now, it was all just an akward moment to sit through. Eventually I layed down and put my headphones in my ears and started playing some music.

"White lips, pale face

Breathing in snowflakes

Burnt lungs, sour taste

Light's gone, day's end

Struggling to pay rent

Long nights, strange men

And they say

She's in the Class A Team

Stuck in her daydream

Been this way since 18

But lately her face seems

Slowly sinking, wasting

Crumbling like pastries

And they scream

The worst things in life come free to us

Cos we're just under the upperhand

Go mad for a couple grams

And she don't want to go outside tonight..."

What? We came to Cheshire? This is where I was going to be living? I quickly turn off my music and follow my dad outside to the sidewalk. I still didn't where I live, if it's in a house, condo, or apartment, but knowing my dad, nothing is going to stop him from getting a house. I got into the cab that my dad had stopped for us and we put our luggage into the trunk. As soon as I got in the cab I fell fast asleep, and I had a scary dream.

I just had got out of the singing studio and it was around 9 at night. My mother pulled around the corner to pick me up, and I climbed into the car and we had our usual conversation. We talked about how school went, and I was a doing great. I felt so proud of my grades and all my extra circulars because I was doing so well.

"So did you meet anyone interesting?" My mother asks in her motherly tone.

"MUM!" I knew I could tell her anything, but this would be a secret. I couldn't risk my dad finding out, so with that thought I nudge her ever so slightly in the stomach.

*End of flashback*

*Krissy's POV*

I jolted up and I hoped no one noticed, so I quickly scanned around and realized that thankfully no one was watching me. I looked outside the cab and saw a very friendly looking town that seemed like it waas built quite a while ago from the ages of the building. We stopped rigtht in front of a huge house that was probably double the size of the old one I had just moved out of. This couldn't have been the right house, and I wouldn't believe it fo a second.

It was my dad who spoke first, "How do you like it?"

I didn't even reply because I was just to busy standing in awe at the great house in front of me. It was beautiful. It was painted an off-white color. It had large light blue framed windows and door. A gorgeous front lawn covered with all different kinds of flowers. There was an amazing stone pathway to get inside the house. I couldn't wait any longer, so I took my lugagge in my hand and bolted into the breathtaking house that layed in front of me.
