Love Over Life

Krissy's life is hard enough having to move multiple times a year, transferring schools, and putting up with a strict dad who expects her to be perfect, but someone along the way makes a mark. Having to move with her overly protective dad for his job gets rough and meeting a perfect boy was never her plan. He was in the same position as her, and she knew from the moment she laid eyes on him that he was special. Not to mention he was the quarterback of the football team and the highest scoring student in the grade, along with her. But can jealousy ruin their relation and jeopardize their lives?

8. Same Boys

*Krissy's POV*

I woke up and immediately started getting ready. I took a shower, curled my hair, and applied my make-up. I went to my closet and pulled out a pair of mint colored shorts and slipped them on. I put on a white flowy shirt and tucked the front into my shorts because I thought it would look a lot better, plus it wouldn't cover up my shorts. With the outfit I paired some white converse and made my way downstairs.

I poured some cereal because my dad wasn't down yet, which probably meant that he slept in. After I had finished eating, I put the bowl in the sink and saw my dad walking down the stairs.

"Good morning, I know I'm late, but are you ready?" He asks me in a voice that is so grumpy that I knew he must have just woken up.

"Yeah, let's leave"

"Ok, that's exactly what I was thinking"

We drove to school, and as I got out my dad tells me "Be Perfect", which was his way of telling me that I am at school to learn and get perfect grades, nothing else.

I go to my locker and pack my backpack up with a notebook for my first class.

I waited and waited and saw no sign of Harry and the first period bell had rung.

Morning classes were ok, and I kept repeating what I did for the whole time. It was basically go to my locker and get the stuff I need, go to class, take a lot of notes, and then the bell rings and it repeats all over again.

I start going to the cafeteria and thats where I see him. This time with a tight navy colored shirt on and a black beanie. I wasn't ready to face him because I didn't know what to do. He hadn't been there to take me to my classes yesterday afternoon, and I don't really know why. He probably didn't want to see me again and put up with my only schoolwork attitude. I didn't even know why I kept thinking about him, or why I am getting all worked up. He was just someone that went to school with me, I wasn't supposed to even be talking to anyone. Just then someone bumped me...

"Sorry! I didn't mean to" It was a light tanned skin girl that had curly brown hair.

"No worries!" I replied, 'I was just talking to myself internally" I thought.

"Well, my name is Danielle, but you can call me Dani if you want. I haven't seen you around before, are you new here?" She was super friendly and sweet. We were stopped in the hallway right in front of the cafeteria talking to each other.

"Nice you meet you Dani" I smiled. "Im Krissy, and yeah I'm new" I was surprised at how real the smile I was giving was. Usually I would probably give a fake smile, but Dani seemed to nice for that.

"Nice to meet you to, I was worried that you would say you have been going to this school for really long and I have just never seen you, because that would have been really embarrassing!"

I laugh, a lot actually, at what she said. I don't know if it was meant to be funny, but she joined me and laughed to.

"Anyways, do you already have somewhere to sit or would you like to come sit with me?"

"I don't have a place to sit" I let out a little sigh because I knew the boys I sat with earlier were probably annoyed with me.

"It's settled then, you can come and sit with me!" She had a huge smile on her face and it seemed impossible to me that there could be such a happy person.

She started walking and I followed her to a table that was in a familiar place. I remembered then, this was the same table I sat at yesterday.

"Hey Krissy!" It was a familiar voice. I turn to see it was the boy that I met yesterday, it was Liam.

"You know her?" She asks Liam with a smile and she hold hands with him.

"Yeah! I sat here yesterday because Harry was guiding me to my classes and he was the only person I knew".

I see around to notice Zayn coming with a girl holding hand in hand.

"Here comes Perrie and Zayn!" Dani screeches.

"Hello!" It was perrie, her greeting was right towards me.

"I don't think I have met you before?" She was gorgeous, with pretty pink hair that suited her perfectly.

"I'm Krissy, I just came to this school yesterday"

"Oh! I love your shorts, by the way!" She also had really big smile.

"Hello! We're here guys, don't worry!" I couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

"Krissy, this is Louis and Eleanor, Louis and Eleanor, this is Krissy. She is new here and is going to sit at our table." It was Liam that introduced us to each other.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you!" Says Louis.

"It's really nice to meet you"Said Eleanor.

"Nice to meet you too!" I smiile really big, these were really nice friends and I hope they don't mind me sitting with them.

"LETS GET EATING!" I look around to see who it was. There behind me was the same blonde haired boy that I spoke with yesterday.

"Your always hungry Nialler" It was him, it was Harry. I turn around to see him right in front of me. He was smiling and  looked right into my eyes. I smiled back and looked down.

"Thats true, lets go get food!" He had a heavy Irish accent that followed each word he said. He walked into the line for lunch and everyone but Harry followed him.

"Hey, sorry I couldn't be there the rest of the day yesterday. I was just busy because the football team has a really big game coming up and the coach wants me to be really prepared for us to win" I could see that he was really sad, I knew I was just caught up over nothing.

"It's honestly fine, Niall helped me around and let me sit at this table. Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn, Perrie, Eleanor, and Dani are all really nice," I wanted to make sure that he didn't feel upset about leaving me at all, because that should probably be the least of his worries.

"Hahaha yeah, I guess. They are all really great to be around." I knew by the way he talked about his friends that they were really close, he talked about them like they were all brothers.

"So, I've heard that your the captain, right?" I wanted to know more about his passion for football.

"Yeah I'm the quarterback, the boys also all play with me." It seemed like he really didn't want to get in depth, but I just really wanted to know why.

"Is it really stressful knowing that most people are looking at you to bring the victory?" I know it must have been hard because he didn't really seem to open about the topic.

*Harry's POV*

"Is it really stressful knowing that most people are looking at you to bring the victory?" I knew she was just wondering, and I wish I could tell her everything. Yes. It was soo stressful that you can't even imagine. Knowing that if the team looses it's all on me. I can't bear when that happens because even if we win, it's mostly me that everyone is around. I have a team, I wish I could show them all that. I wish I could show my dad most of all. My dad was my dad, but when it comes to football, he is my coach. Nothing else. All relationships go away.

"Yes, no one can imagine," I felt like telling her more, but it wouldn't come out.

"Yeah, I kinda know the feeling" She looked down like she was upset. I couldn't see her like that, why would she ever feel like that.

"We're back!" It was Louis' voice. He could be really annoying at times, but he was a really nice friend. He has been there for me since forever. He was the first I had met out of the boys, and that is probably why I am always with him. All the boys understand me and my position, but Louis knows how hard it is.

I looked at Krissy and she smiled. I smiled back. I know she stopped because she could tell it was really hard for me. I was actually glad she was sitting at our table because from the little time I have known her I have figured out that she is different. She is very understanding and she didn't push me to tell her more.

We all sat for lunch and right before lunch ended I felt a hand drop something on my lap. The bell rang and everyone was walking out of the cafeteria while I picked up a piece of paper. As I was walking I unfolded it and it read

Meet me at the coffee shop across the school Xx

Krissy ❤

Underneath there was written a phone number. I knew I had to go, she could be someone I could actually talk to. She was different, she would know.
