Deep down Bo knew she had feelings for this boy. But did he feel the same? Of course not. A tall blonde girl named Taylor swift might have something to do with that.

6. Chapter 6

*Bo's POV*

The sun shone through the gap in the window onto my face. I squinted my eyes and turned around and saw Harry laying next to me with his eyes closed. He was still asleep, his curls flopped over his face and across the pillow and his chest slowly rose and fell. He really looked like an angel.

"Harry?" I whispered.

I heard a couple of mumbles in reply and then Harry slowly opened his eyes.

"Oh, morning Bo." Harry looked at me surprised, I think he forgot that he asked me to stay with him last night.

"Sleep well?" I asked.

"Yeah, it was pretty good, what about you?"

"Yeah it was okay. Your cuddly." I commented.

"Really?" Harry raised his eyebrows.

Harry got out of bed and looked through the crack. He walked across the room and into the kitchen and looked out the back window.

"One's gotten out the back." Harry said annoyed.

"A zombies gotten into the backyard."

"Oh..." I forgot that life was like this. Being with Harry made me forget about it all. Harry walked into the back yard and killed it with an axe. I walked after him and watched him drag it somewhere out of the way.

"Are you going to teach me how to fire a gun?" I asked.

Harry walked back to me and fixed up his curls. He looked at me for a moment and looked at his shoes. I think he was thinking about what to do with me, whether I should stay inside while he went out or whether to teach me how to survive outside. I really hoped he would let me go with him, I didn't want him going out there alone.

"Yeah I don't see why not." Harry shrugged.

Later on that day Harry and I stood in the back garden and he showed me how to load and aim the gun. He drew a very bad picture of a zombie and stuck it on a pole and waited for me to aim. He would look closely over my shoulder and tell me when it was good enough to shoot; he wouldn't allow me to actually fire the gun though so we just pretended to shoot and we made sound effects with our voices and cracked up laughing.

*Harrys POV*

"Your so weird." Bo said giggling.

"Yeah? Well your going to regret you said that Bo Ellis!" I replied playfully.

Bo took off across the yard while I chased after her. She ran pretty fast for a girl with such short legs. I sprinted up to her and grabbed her arms and we tumbled to the ground and I managed to pin her to the floor. We stared into each others eyes for a long time and stayed silent. I slowly moved my face closer to hers and she did the same. I closed my eyes and lightly placed my lips on hers. We kissed for what seemed like forever but in reality only for a couple of seconds. I pulled away and we opened our eyes.

"Harry." She whispered.

"Shhh it's ok, trust me."

I slowly leant in again and kissed her once more, this time a little harder, but not like we were full on snogging like some other people. I pulled away again for air and opened my eyes and stared at her reaction. Her eyes were still closed, mouth slightly agape and her chest slowly rising and falling. She slowly fluttered her eyes open and looked into my eyes, I really liked Bo. She was different from Taylor. But I still wasn't completely sure of my feelings for her. But when I kissed her it felt so different from other girls, she was more delicate and fragile so to speak.

"Come on, lets go inside." I said, breaking the silence.

Bo nodded her head while I got up and stood above her. I reached out for her hands and helped her up and we walked inside. I walked over to the mattress on the floor and slipped my converse off and sat cross legged on the side of the bed. I don't know where Bo went, but she soon appeared again and sat with me on the bed.

"Harry, how many girls have you kissed?" Bo asked.

I thought about it a lot, there were so many girls that I couldn't remember. I decided to go with the easiest answer.

"A fair few. How many guys have you kissed?"

Bo looked at me and then looked down and played with her fingers.

"One." She mumbled.

I looked at her with my eyes raised. She'd only ever kissed one boy?

"Do you mean you've kissed one boy before I kissed you, or was I your first kiss?" I asked.

She looked at me again and back to her hands.

"Y-you were my first kiss." She said quietly.

I looked at her shocked, she'd never been kissed by a boy until just before? And she was 18? Why? How had she never kissed someone before? I was bewildered by this, she was so pretty. Why wouldn't a guy want to kiss her? I looked over to her and she was still looking down at her hands with her hair covering her face.

"Did it ever make you upset that you'd never been kissed?" I asked.

"Well, sometimes. But other times I didn't really think of it much, but when my friends started getting boyfriends and they were kissing it would make me sad a little. I felt like no guy wanted to kiss me because I was ugly or something. Maybe there was something wrong with me. Do you think that's why?" She asked worriedly.

"To be honest, I have no idea. But I will say this, I'm glad it was me who got that chance to kiss you first." I replied.

We talked for the rest of the night about our lives and what we liked to do. Bo told me she liked to draw a little bit, but she didn't think she was any good. I said I used to be a boxing trainer, because it would help me with my anger. And then it got time to go to sleep. I got into bed and Bo started walking towards the couch. I remember when I used to sleep on it when Taylor would be mad at me and it wasn't very soft.

"You can come and sleep here if you want." I offered.

Bo looked at me and nervously walked to the other side of the bed and climbed in while I held the covers up for her. She laid down beside me and I turned and looked at her.

"Have you ever had a boyfriend before?" I asked.

Bo turned over and looked at me, her eyes showed me that she was scared of the subject. She took a deep breath and answered.

"No boy's ever liked me much, but then this guy named Rick asked me out at a party. I didn't really want to because he looked frightening but my friends told me he was hot and that he was the most popular guy in the school. So I said yes."

Is that what she was scared of? Going out with a guy who looked frightening? There had to be more to this answer.

"Was he nice? Did he treat you well?" I asked, curious to what she might say.

Tears brimmed in Bo's eyes, her breath shook and she continued.

"Well, he was at the start, but he made me do his jobs in his flat. He made me do his dishes, his washing, vacuuming, sweeping, he even made me clean his roof. Then one time I accidentally left a red shirt in with his whites, and when he saw he slapped me across the face."

A tear rolled down Bo's face, I couldn't bear to think of someone wanting to hurt her. She was so small and fragile. Bo opened her mouth again to speak.

"After that he would hit me daily and call me a stupid bitch and a waste of space. He never kissed me or anything because apparently I was a disgusting person. I went from being his girlfriend to his house maid. Once he broke my wrist and he would push me to the floor and kick me in the stomach. When I would go home with cuts and bruises all over me I would have to tell me mum that I fell over. I'm very clumsy though, so she would always believe me."

"Why didn't you run away from him?" I asked.

"I tried to, but it's not always easy when he goes to your school and knows where you live. He pulled me out of class one day and told me that if I ever tried to leave him he would kill me or hurt everyone I loved. So I couldn't escape." Bo said.

"If you ask me I think your boyfriend was an absolute dickhead." I commented.

Bo laughed a little bit and kept going with her story.

"I didn't tell anyone what he would do to me, but then it got too hard to keep quiet so I told my friends. They were really supportive of it and said sorry to me for making me say yes. I told them not to tell anyone but one of them told her parents and her dads a policeman. So he went to the station and looked up to see if Rick had any criminal records and he had one for taking drugs. So it was easy for them to find out who he was and where he lived. When I went to his place to clear his gutters all the police were there searching the house but he got away." She said, her voice crackling.

I looked at her and frowned, so the only guy she's ever been with had abused her.

"How long ago was this?" I asked.

"A year ago..." She replied quietly.

So this guy could still be alive, I highly doubt it but if I ever met the guy I would beat the shit out of him. How dare he hit her. How dare he even be able to hit a woman. I looked over to Bo. Tears were running down her cheeks. I leant over to her and wiped away her tears with my thumb.

"I'll never let that happen to you again." I whispered.

*Bo's POV*

Harry looked at me with sorry eyes. He reached over to me and wiped some hair out of my face and kissed my forehead. I don't know what it meant that he was kissing me, but I think I was slowly starting to fall for this boy. And when he said he was glad he was my first kiss, I was glad too.

*Harry's POV*

I woke up in the middle of the night and turned over to look at Bo. The sheets had fallen down and her body was exposed to the cold. She was freezing, she was curled up in the fetus position and was shivering like crazy. I moved over closer to her and pulled the sheets up and wrapped my arms around her. She jumped and woke up frightened of me.

"Shhh it's just me Bo." I whispered.

She calmed down and let me wrap my arms around her to keep her warm. I think I was starting to fall for her, but I wasn't entirely sure. I needed to figure things out.
