27. Chapter 27

*Bo's POV*

"Holy crap you've gotten heaps bigger!" Harry exclaimed.

I stood before my boyfriend with a small baby bump. I put my hands on my back and stuck my stomach out some more, making it look bigger. I smiled as Harry stood in front of me absolutely stunned at my size.

"I'm not that big, it's only been a month." I replied.

"Yeah but you'd be able to tell there's a human inside you if someone was to see you." He said.

"Are you calling me fat?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"No of course not babe, your perfect." He replied, walking towards me and placing his hands on my hips.

I smiled at him and kissed him on the lips. Harry leant back and put his hands on my stomach. Smiling at the baby inside me.

"Hello baby." He said quietly.

I laughed and tucked some hair behind my ear. Harry rubbed my belly gently and whispered things to the baby.

"They can hear me now, right?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Yeah I think so." I replied, nodding my head.

Harry smiled and got down on his knees so he could be at the same height as my stomach. He was still a little too tall due to his enormous height but it didn't phase him at all. I stood there looking at the father of my child talk to my bump. I laughed and put my hands over his.

"Why do you keep talking when you don't get a reply?" I asked.

"Because I want to. And when the baby's is born I want them to recognise my voice." He replied.

Harry got back on his feet and looked at me in the eyes.

"When do you want to leave?" He asked, entwining my fingers with his.

I looked at him confused.

"What? Leave where?" I asked.

"We were going to go find more survivors, remember?" He reminded me.

"Ohhh, yeah I remember." I said slightly disappointed.

Harry must've noticed the disappointment in my voice. He shifted the weight on his feet and leant a bit closer to me.

"We have to go sooner or later, you know that right?" He said quietly.

I nodded and looked down. I could feel the curls on Harry's head tickle my neck as he tried to nudge my head to the side with his own head. I closed my eyes and tilted my head to the side, giving Harry access to the skin on my neck. Harry gently kissed at the skin and grazed his teeth over the soft spot. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I draped my arms over his shoulders, standing on tippy toes to get a better height to put my arms around him. We stood in the lounge room together for a while before Harry pulled away, smirking at the mark he left on my neck.

"What was that for?" I asked, gently stroking it with my fingers.

"Just to remind you that even though you are pregnant, I can still kiss you until it hurts." He said leaving the room.

Just before he turned the corner he looked back at me, giving me a wink and then disappearing to somewhere else in the house.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I called out.

"Depends on how you look at it." I heard in reply.

I rolled my eyes and went to get some toothpaste. I remember my friend telling me it was a good way to get rid of a love bite. I went upstairs into the bathroom and picked up the small tube. I decided to brush my teeth while I was at it. I scrubbed my teeth and applied toothpaste to the dark mark on my neck. I washed my mouth out and ridded my finger of toothpaste. I turned around to dry my face when suddenly a huge tightness formed in my stomach. I yelped in pain and bent over, clutching my stomach and squeezing my eyes closed in pain.

"H-Harry!" I yelled out.

I heard footsteps sprinting up the stairs and within an instant Harry was in the doorway. Panic was written all over his face. Harry came over to me and leant over to see my face.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"I-I don't know, it really hurts." I said painfully.

Harry put his hand on my back and rubbed my spine.

"What does it feel like?" He asked.

"L-like someone is squeezing my stomach really really tight. Harry it hurts so much." I cried.

Tears spilled one by one down my cheeks as I tried to stand up properly. Harry had one hand on my back and the other on my stomach rubbing it in circles.

"Shh it's ok, it's probably a cramp or something." He said.

"Well if it is, it's the worst cramp I've ever had in my life." I replied.

"Just take deep breaths and it should go away soon." He spoke.

"It can't come soon enough." I replied sarcastically.

Harry breathlessly laughed and lead me into the girls room. I laid down on the bed and squeezed my eyes shut. When I opened them Harry was nowhere to be seen..

"Harry? Where are you?!" I yelled.

"Hang on a sec, I'm just getting you something!" I heard from downstairs.

I sighed with relief and leant back further into the pillows. Suddenly another crash of pain rushed through my body. I shot up and clutched my stomach, sucking in air between my clenched teeth. Soon I could feel Harry's presence in the room. Harry sat next to me on the bed and pulled up my t-shirt. Then I felt a warm, damp piece of material on my stomach. I opened my eyes and there was a wet cloth on my stomach. Harry was sat in front of me with one hand on my baby bump.

"We don't have a hot water bottle, so I soaked a cloth in hot water instead." Harry said.

I smiled and cupped Harry's cheek in my hand.

"Your so sweet, thank you." I said.

Harry smiled and held my hand in his, tracing the lines and creases in my palm. Soon my stomach settled down and the cramps began to go away.

"Why do you think I was getting cramps?" I asked.

Harry shrugged and shook his head.

"I don't know, maybe it's just something that happens in pregnancy." He replied.

I sighed and leant my head back on the pillows.

"I just hope that doesn't happen again." I moaned.

Harry breathlessly laughed and shook his head.

"You get some sleep, maybe you'll feel better after that." He said.

I nodded my head and closed my eyes. Harry left the room and went downstairs, finding something to do.

***

I opened my eyes and the sun suddenly blinded me. I squeezed my eyes closed and shielded my face with my arms. I looked around and I was still in the girls room. Harry was no where to be seen. I looked down and the cloth was gone, and my shirt had been pulled down again.

"Harry?" I called out.

There was silence in the house.

"Harry are you there?"

I got up and walked sleepily across the room to the window. It was a lovely day outside, the sun was shining and I could hear birds chirping. The only downside was that I could see a few figures in the distance, the figures of infected. I frowned and left the room, starting my search for Harry.

I walked down the stairs and rubbed my eyes. I walked into the lounge room and observed the area, no Harry. I frowned and searched the kitchen, no sign of the curly haired boy. Panic slowly started to set in. I hurried into the dining room, desperate to see his brown hair and green eyes. There was still no sign of Harry.

"Harry are you there?" I yelled.

There was still no sign of Harry. Tears started to form in my eyes as panic and fright builded up inside of me. I went as fast as I could take myself back upstairs into the boys room to see if he was in there. I opened the door and it was completely empty.

"Harry please come back." I pleaded in defeat.

I walked downstairs and slumped down on the bed in tears. I quietly cried to myself, hoping it would bring him back. Every now and then I would go to the windows and see if he was outside but I never saw him. I laid back on the bed and sobbed into a pillow while holding my stomach. If he didn't come back I would be all by myself. If I stayed here for the rest of the 8 months I would have to give birth all by myself.

I got up again and looked out the window. I gasped and screamed when I saw a zombie outside.

It's ribs were exposed, along with half of its leg.

It had matted, brown curly hair and was incredibly tall.

And from what I could see, it had green eyes.
