She's too young - completed

This is a story I wrote for a fan, Ellie. I'm so sorry I haven't posted it, it's been waay crazy. So anywho, this is a fanfic about Louis Tomlinson. They fall head over heels in love, but will it work? People will cry. Feelings will die. And the world will continue to tell them, "She's too young..."

27. I'll catch you

Letting the scalding water burn down on my skin, I slid my back down the wall of the tub and pulled my knees up to my chest. I didn't even know it was possible to cry in the shower, but I did it anyways. My sobs were loud, and none of my family bothered to ask if I was alright considering what I went through earlier. I wasn't alright though.

It was past daytime, and everyone was asleep in the house. Apart from me. Being in the shower for a good two hours or so, crying and sobbing until the boiling hot water eventually turned cold. I stepped out of the tub, and still hadn't felt any better at all. But then I realise, it's not possible for the hurt and emberassment you carry to just wash down the drain with the rest of the wasted water. I wish it did.

Slipping on a long t shirt for bed that fell to mid thigh, and ringing my wet hair over to one shoulder, I checked my cell that was still on the bathroom counter. The screen all foggy and misty from my long shower. 8 missed calls, unknown numbers. About twelve forwarded messages, again, unknown numbers. As I expected, none of the texts were

'hey u okay? you were upset today, i'm worried about u ):'

But rather what I hadn't expected either, they all read

'omg did u hear? louis and ellie were caught sleeping together & her dad hit them both in the face! get the word around about this new it couple lol xp'

Stupid lies. Stupid rumours. Stupid people. Stupid highschool. Stupid life. Stupid world, and stupid phone.

Being completely fed up with the texts and calls, I dropped my phone straight into the toilet letting it drown slowly and painully. I was okay with it. I've had it up to here with the petty make up gossip. The only thing I had wondered was, who got the word around anyways?

Walking back into my room, that was complete and covered in darkness, I curled up under the duvet and fell asleep instantly. Crying really tires someone. All I wanted to do was sleep, and never wake up. Not die, just sleep for a very long time and not get up until the world finally agrees with me. Sounds perf. If only life went your way all the time.

Drifting to a slumber for only about an hour, I awoke to the sound of a pebble hitting my window, and then another.

I shot up, turning on the lamp in the far corner of my room, and I peaked out the window. All I could see was the faint green grass below, and the moon shining down through the dark sky. No one was out there. Crawling back into bed, the pebble hit the glass again.

This time opening the window, and peaking my head out I whispered.

"Who's out there?"

"Come down, Ellie!" He whispered back.

"Why are you here, Louis?"

"To see you! To apologize." I heard leafs crunch beneath his feet.

"Just go away, okay?" Shouting, it was still a slight whisper.

"No! come down, I want to see you Ellie." He refused to leave.

"I can't get down there!" Starting to give in, I only really wanted to go down there to slap him in the face for being a jerk today. Or maybe even throw him another black eye. But I had to give him a chance, and 'violence isnever the answer.'

"Hang on to that pole and those vines, they seem sterdy!"

"I don't know, Lou. I'm scared." I backed up.

"Just come down I'll catch you!"

Hanging my right foot over the edge, I procceeded to hang on to the grape vines that crawled up the side of my house. Not realising I still had my only t shirt on, the cold night wrapped around me and gave me chills. When I thought the ground was near, my hands slipped off the vine and I felt as if I almost fell to my death. But he caught me. Like he told me so.

"I told you so." He whispered, and turned me around almost pressing his lips to mine. I pushed him away.

"Louis stop. Just a kiss isn't going to make this better."
